This place feels like home, like nobody is a stranger and everyone is warmly welcomed.
The food was delicious. I was craving eggs Benedict and theirs totally hit the spot, plus the home fries on the side had the right amount of crunch. I've had 2 different meals there now. It's not fancy, has more of a diner feel. The coffee is basic but so good! The food has generous portions, and different portions (and pricing) depending on your appetite. I don't have any pictures because I was so hungry from fasting the night before for blood work. But I had French Toast, Sausage Patties, and Corn Beer Hash!
My friend had a version of Eggs Benedict that she enjoyed. Last time I was there I had an Omelette that was delicious 😋

Cute little local diner! Food was delicious- we had the sausage and biscuits with eggs and the 3 egg breakfast with a side of hash. The home fries were crispy and amazing. They also had a $5 mimosa special. There was a lot of parking available since it is in a plaza. The diner was packed when we came in on a Saturday morning but they were quick to seat us and take our order. Overall a good experience.

Stumbled upon this brewery/tavern near Tysons mall and we were not disappointed. Tucked away in an industrial area near a path but serving delicious beer and comfort American food. The fish and chips was fresh, crisp and quite flavorful. The side salad complemented the meal well. The beer was great as well iPA bbq sauce was tangy and delightful with fries and with the chicken sandwich! Highly recommend and family friendly!

Such an amazing and grate finding! Been living in the DMV area for a while but never been to Vienna. We discovered this cozy place with grate beer and very welcoming crew. Great spot for drinks. Very convenient spot for people on the W&O trail. We went for lunch with our kids, they seemed to enjoy their pancakes and burger. I ordered the spinach and feta quiche and it was ok, the bottom was a little raw. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and he said it was very dry unfortunately. We really enjoyed the pumpkin cream ale. It is one of the better "pumpkin" ales we have tried. So maybe not an amazing food place, but a good spot for drinks or a quick break from the trail.

Spicy but not hot, just the right amount of flavors from the tomatoes and onions and cilantro. I had a grilled vegetable burrito packed with peppers, mushrooms, and onions. The refined beans are perhaps the best I’ve tasted, and the fresh jalapeños on top brought it all together. My dad had a breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs and potatoes and covered with cheese and refried beans. We both loved the food and the wait staff was friendly and easy going. I’d recommend any of their mothers Virginia locations for a great TexMex style Mexican dinner! Plenty of options for vegans (me), vegetarians, and meat eaters.

For some reason, this place does not taste very authentic. Some of their seasonings are a little bit bland. We got the strawberry and mango kids smoothie and they tasted kind of artificial? Terrible service from Manuel at the takeout counter. He was incredibly rude, clearly incompetent, and got our order wrong THREE TIMES without so much as an apology and we’ve been standing at the counter for 45 minutes.

I have been going here for years and very rarely they have disappoint me. The food and service are great. however, they are not consistent with the mixture of the egg and potatoes that go in the burrito. Sometimes it is fresh sometimes it's old like leftover from the day before and it feels dry and salty. Another issue i have is the way they serve the salsa. Please bring back the mini cups, this new bags are very hard to open and the salsa doesn't taste the same. I hope someone finds my review helpful.

I am giving one star because they give two slices of extremely plain French toast for $11.20. The portions are not big. The taste is just meh, kinda like sweet bread. But they charge $11.20 for this? Every other place around, the French toast is better and either cheaper or gives more, or is fancier with fruit and cream or whatever. Or it comes with eggs.
Also, they forgot the potato in the chorizo breakfast burrito. You can see the potatoes in the ham breakfast burrito, but not in the chorizo one.

Most importantly: Their coffee is delicious. The espresso in particular is full bodied and rich. The baristas are masterful; every time I get a cappuccino or latte, the foam is so soft and the milk is silky.

Carnegie Diner offers all day breakfast and brunch, as well as your more usual lunch and dinner fare. We skipped the breakfast items in favor of burgers and chicken sandwiches (the fried chicken BLT was delicious) but we were really there for the 24 layer chocolate cake that’s made them locally famous.
We did not have a reservation on a Sunday, so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a table, not a big deal to us.
Once seated, our waiter showed up quickly to bring water and introduce himself. We had studied the menu (huge menu!) while we waited and were ready to place our orders immediately.
Food arrived very quickly and everything was prepared perfectly. Portions are very large - sandwiches come with fries on the side as well as a side green salad and everything is so tasty it’s hard to save room for dessert.
Our waiter kept the water topped up and checked back to make sure we were good several times without hovering.
The 24 layer cake, when it came, was simply enormous. Rich, chocolatey, moist and fluffy and not overly sweet. Huge winner in our book and easily reason enough to give five stars.
The only down sides were how noisy the restaurant is when it’s full (which of course it would be on a Sunday) and the food from previous diners which was not cleaned off the seats. Not crumbs either - wet bits of lettuce and some bits of fried chicken.
Still, I would absolutely return. The food is just so good.

We were in the Fairfax area and getting hungry late in the evening, so we searched for nearby places to eat. Carnegie Diner popped up, it was just a few miles away, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived around 9:15 PM (they close at 10), but that wasn’t an issue at all. We were actually the only table there at the time.
The inside was clean, bright, and smaller than expected, but still a nice, welcoming space. The menu is large and features mostly New York-style dishes, which makes sense since that’s where they’re based.
I ordered the cheeseburger topped with pastrami, which came with fries and a small salad, it was a big burger and really flavorful. Others in our group tried the Reuben with pastrami, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the most unique item of the night: a burger with fried mac and cheese buns.
Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The dessert display looked amazing, but we didn’t have a chance to try anything this time.

This is a nice spot. Definitely has a lot of variety as far as food, and the decor and overall vibe is pretty nice. It was busy! We had to wait about 20 minutes but not a huge deal. There were definitely some issues though.
The good:
The portions were enormous! With the pancakes, you get three giant pancakes and with some of the other foods, the plates were really large for your money is worth so it seems like you got a pretty good deal. The desserts are also very good. Also, the manager or Owner came over to check on us and make sure that we were doing OK which I appreciated.
The bad:
we tried the steak omelette. The portion was large, however the steak was very bland. The burger was a good size, to be expected . My wife asked for eggs and avocado on the side, and they charged us $5 for the eggs and another $5 for half of an avocado. On top of that , the server failed to mention that the gratuity was already included and the service was pretty average so it would have been nice to know that.
Overall, a decent experience but room for improvement.

The ambience and the location is all good. Ample free parking too. I loved the little desert corner they have to see those delicious pies and cakes they have to offer. Overall 10/10 for that. The decor is eye pleasing. A good first date spot. The food however was disappointing. The appetizers between calamari and nachos, calamari was a win while the spinach dip did not hit the spot. My husband and son did enjoy their meal not to the level of expectation we had from the place but yeah they did get to finish their plate. My omelet however was a sad let down. It had a weird metallic bad griddle bad oil taste to it and ruined it for me within the first bite so I requested them to take it back. They were apologetic and did not charge me for it and also offered a free desert for the mishap which I'm grateful for. The desert was a slice of cheesecake and it was delicious. I recently stopped by Carnegie Diner & Café and tried Peter’s Special, which comes with half a pound of corned beef and half a pound of wagyu pastrami. The sandwich was really good — flavorful, juicy, and satisfying. We came here as a family and group of 7… We were promptly seated, but we did have reservations. Our server was great, very helpful and attentive. Their menu is quite big, with lots of sandwiches and brunch items. We each started with their fresh squeeze orange juice, which was really good. Their coffee is quite nice as well.
Next was the entrées and those were all huge! Their sandwiches are really big, especially the club. I tried their Pastrami with egg sandwich (the Egg-Strami Sandwich) – so very good! The pastrami was moist, had a nice smoke to it, but very tender and flavorful!

I have recently been on the hunt for the DMV‘s best chocolate piece of cake. I’ve tried my fair share of chocolate cakes from the normal Cheesecake Factory and Ted’s bulletin but Carnegie definitely takes it up a notch. When I first saw a picture, I was completely sold. The customer service was great. There is a lady who helped to get the cake out the showcase window. She put on gloves before handling the cake and cut me two great slices to go. This was the best piece of cake I’ve had in a very long time. It’s dense, rich, and has multiple servings. As of right now, this stands as the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. I look forward to going back.

Others that complain need to consider what they are getting, the convenience and the quality for what they are doing. it's on Langston blvd but It's really Lee highway. This is my absolute favorite location for a few reasons. Its on the way home from work, it's never overly crowded and it's by far the best bc of the staff. Rosa, Joseph and Maria have been cooking my nightly meals more then a few times and it's always an absolute pleasure bc the food is top notch, they are friendly, caring and have a knack for making you laugh as soon as you enter the door. This blows chipotle away. They don’t load it up so much you have to use a knife and fork. My tacos were carnitas. Tender, juicy and full of flavor. So impressive on the ordering. Seems they do mostly online and monitors with touch screens. Food was fresh, clean restaurant and a delightful staff.

My Toastmaters group (the Navygayors) held a volunteer event for the Ronald McDonald House at this location And it was an excellent experience. They have big tables for groups to gather and of course a nice casual vibe in terms of decor. My friends were able to eat, drink and craft at the same time. The staff were super nice with taking photos, cleaning up around us and taking my friends empty plates. I’m just grateful they allow people to meet here. They have free Wi-Fi too! Overall, great spot for lunch, breakfast or having a group meeting. I would get there early in the morning on the weekends to get a table because it gets packed in the afternoon. Parking is a challenge if you don’t get here early as well. I would recommend this place for sure!

Just said 'lots of customers ahead of me". Which is odd because the pick up spaces around me were mostly vacant and I'd only seen 2 orders delivered before mine come out. Everyone else's food was getting put on the pickup shelves but mine. I'm not sure what is going on but my perception is that they are skimping on ingredients to cut costs. This is the worst tropical smoothie I’ve been to when it comes to order priority and overall process management. I waited 10 mins in line while someone in front of me had an issue with their app and then waited 25 mins for my two smoothie order to be made and even then they only made one. So I had to wait another 10 for the other. Granted it was lunch rush but the number of online orders was astronomical for people that weren’t even in the building. The placed was packed mainly with people standing and waiting. I don't understand how an online order is prioritized over a to-go order that was placed in person. Don’t come here unless you’re okay waiting 30 mins for a smoothie.

Since this Dunkin changed ownership it has gone WAY downhill. The service is terrible - slow and often get orders wrong. The previous owners had created a friendly atmosphere where they worked hard to make their customers happy. The man who spoke barely any English told me to download the app and order from there which I wasn’t going to do while driving. I was 4 minutes away so I hustled decided to order in store. I came in this morning to treat myself since I missed out on National Donut Day. They have a decent variety of donuts and other pastries, and it wasn't so easy to decide. I am confused when I order something straight off the menu and the cashier looks at me like I’m speaking gibberish, then has to ask for help to know what I’m talking about. I’ve been to many different Chick-Fil-A locations, to include the original Dwarf House in ATL, but never have I ever come across such a unique Chick-Fil-A location with a parking garage attached. The drive thru was in the garage and there was TONS of parking available. Inside the restaurant was a two level play area for the kiddos and very clean restrooms. There was even a complimentary “mouthwash” dispenser in the men’s room. I’ve NEVER seen this in a men’s room. The staff were friendly, professional and polite. The space is inviting, practical and perfect for its location. Food as always was great, and refills is always a great thing when it’s time to go. If you happen to be in the area please check out this Chick-Fil-A, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Generally at Chick-fil-A, when I have my kids with me, we receive extra care from staff making sure we have everything we need. This location didn’t ask if we wanted place mats, didn’t offer cow crowns, and didn’t greet us on arrival. The food was good though and the establishment was clean. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I after multiple bad visits at Dunkin in Cornerside boulevard I have to. I go to the dunkin there almost everyday at almost the same time everyday. I usually get the same coffee everyday with the same amount of cream and syrup. Every single time it tastes different, and not in a good way. One time I ordered a medium iced caramel coffee with four cream and four caramel syrup, and it was very dark. I am pretty sure they didn’t add any cream and barely any Carmel despite the fact I ordered it. When I asked them to fix it, the worker added one pump of cream and just handed it back to me, didn’t stir it, didn’t look at my order to see what he could have done to make it better. I just went today and got two coffees and they both tasted terrible, I took the lid off and there were small white chunks in it, I am pretty sure the milk or cream they were using was bad and expired. Countless times they have gotten my order wrong or forgotten something. I ordered the yam and cheese croissant stuffers and they gave me different cheese than what I ordered and bacon in it. I’ve tried to get past these mistakes because it happens to the best of us. But after today with getting bad milk, I cannot let it slide. I do not recommend going to this dunkin as it is slow service, and you are almost guaranteed your order to be wrong.

Worst McDonald's ever? Broken kiosk hasn't been fixed in months. Halfway attentive employees sometimes come to the counter. Kiosk allows you to order items they don't have (they could update availability but they don't). Something is always broken or out of stock. Not sure why I keep trying - I guess because it's so convenient - but I have yet to receive an entire order from them, and have twice required a full refund and just walked out.

Ordered a happy meal and wanted to use a coupon for free fries. Cashier and manager insisted since I hadn’t presented the coupon at time of order they wouldn’t honor it. Crazy how I literally was standing in the line and they wouldn’t do it.
Also smelled like the bathroom wasn’t filtering air to the outside. Good luck eating there.

Went at lunch time on a Friday. There weren't many people there so I was worried my food wouldn't be hot but it came out nice and hot and was very good. I ordered chicken nuggets and fries. I ate in the restaurant. A few of the tables were dirty and around the drink machine was a little messy but it wasn't a big deal. Over all I had a good experience and will definitely be back.
