From the immediate experience the atmosphere of the inside was awesome. It was a great variety of even water choices, which we appreciated after a long day of shopping and exploring. Everything we had was great, I loved the variety of options to try that had traditional asian roots. Recommend a must try and lots of other things to see around here. Our service was awesome as we asked a lot of questions but no one was rude or took it as a bother. Located right on Clematis street, this is a great find in downtown West Palm. I was specifically drawn to Kapow for its eccentric anime decor and unique dishes like the ones we tried. Both were paired perfectly with garnishes like pickled veggies, shiso, and their own unique flavors. The bao buns themselves were soft and steamed to perfection. My fiancé had the Chicken Pad Thai ($26) which featured bánh phở noodles, tamarind, lime, coriander, bean sprouts, egg, peanut. This dish was a perfectly executed classic. I had the Bbq Duck & Ginger Fried Rice ($26) which consisted of urgielewicz farms duck, five-vegetables, hoisin glaze, and egg. If there is anything you try on this menu, it has to be this dish. It’s a generous portion of sweet and salty flavors that marry perfectly with the duck and rice. I was blown away by this dish and have been dreaming of it ever since. Second to the incredible food, they had very kind and attentive staff. The service was fantastic and we felt so taken care of the whole dinner. Our waiter was more than happy to explain their menu and answer any questions we had. We were also shocked by how quick our food came out, making our dinner less than an hour from start to finish. Kapow is a hidden gem and I can’t wait to return! 💥

The location here was busy and the street was closed. I like the music and vibe, but the food was alright. The bao pork bun was good, but the rest was mediocre. The steak tartare was bland and needed some more flavoring since the chip doesn’t help the seasoning. Needs more lemon, salt, and pepper. The ramen noodles with chili oil was overwhelming the soup flavor and there was so much bamboo shoots, barely noodles. For the $75 dollars duck, that was a bit disappointing. I ordered to go. Kiosk to order wasn’t that bad. I ordered a boneless spare rib combo with white rice. For the amount of money that I spent and the amount of food that I received really irked me. This place was phenomenal a few years back but now under new ownership it is garbage. It’s a shame that they could’ve taken advantage of the clientele created from the previous owner, but they don’t seem to care. On top of the garbage food, they have unfriendly service, practically threw the plates of food on the table and when asked for an extra plate they gave those French fries paper plates. The amount of rice was laughable for a “large size”. Honestly, I truly hope this place closes down. I can’t emphasize how terrible the whole experience was. I started off with the lobster wontons,which were delicious. My main course was the waygu flatiron steak with kimchi fried rice. It was delectable. Only issue is they like to serve a variety of seafood for dinner but no for lunch (found some shrimps and one boiled blue crab for lunch). I hate the food if I go later in the evening. They wait until an item is completely gone before bringing out the refill but by that time no one wants the previosly served left overs anyway. In a nutshell, go during lunch time and price is moderate and food is very decent.

I had ordered some through uber eats because I was craving chinese food and my go to spot was closed so I ordered from here. In general, the food seems to be premade in large amounts and then dumped into containers and stored for later. My General Tsos was all clumped together, chewy and the batter was slightly undercooked on one side (this is typical for frozen food that is fried). The flavor was okay, not the best i’ve had but definitely not the worst (the taste is comparable to frozen orange chicken.) The sauce that the broccoli is covered in is way too sweet and doesn’t do much for adding flavor to it, it would be fine without it. The Lo Mein I have tried for many years to enjoy it from this place, I always give it a chance but for some reason it is DRENCHED in a brown sauce that is extremely salty. The flavor isn’t that good as compared to several other chinese restaurants. (China City on congress and forest hill or Tokyo Peking on forest hill and jog make some incredible Lo Mein and food in general. Always made fresh to order.) Like, every single time i’ve ordered it it’s just a sloppy soggy mess of noodles, doesn’t taste fresh at all but still edible i guess. As for the pan fried dumplings, they may have been buy one get one free but they are a miserable excuse of pan fried dumplings, they’re literally undercooked. It’s in between being steamed and pan fried and not only that but burnt as well…if you’re going to be paying $40+ for all this food it better be delicious cause not only am i disappointed in the food but myself for being gullible enough to spend money on this😭 spend it at the places i listed above that will make food with love and higher quality for MUCH CHEAPER instead of this…

My experience was not bad. The customer service was good, the food was good, and it came in a timely matter. As far as the quality of food goes it was not bad. I had the house fried rice & order of honey chicken and was not disappointed. Everyone that had some did not seem to hate the cuisine. As far as giving the place a shot I’d say do it.
