The food is always fresh, there’s large tables with lots of seating, not crowded, and the service is great. We came a month ago with some friends to celebrate my grandson's 13th birthday. My husband, grandson and I had the rib and wings special with fries which were finger licking good! The ribs fell off the bone and wings were perfectly cooked and crispy. My celiac friend ordered the braised rib which she loved and her husband pasta dish which they both enjoyed immensely. For dessert my grandson had the Hummingbird Cake which had toasted coconut, pineapple, banana, & walnut - butter cream icing. He ate it all and was quite happy with his choice! My husband and I shared the Fudge Brownie Cheesecake New York-style, topped with fudge covered brownie - chocolate graham crust which was devoured slowly. This was more than enough for the both of us after our rib and wing meal. My friend had a gluten free sundae and her husband the Sky High Carrot Cake Lightly spiced with cranberry, walnut & pineapple - cream cheese icing which were both very scrumptious. This was an awesome first visit! Love the seating area here and the chairs! They are so comfy and inviting! We stayed awhile just chatting because it was so comfortable there. When we asked to move to one of the tables in the middle of the restaurant we were told that that section was already closed( the restaurant closes at 3:30pm) and we would have to wait for them to clean a table in the open section as they were all dirty. Their solution was to put some napkins under the table leg to prevent it from wobbling. I noticed a few other tables they had done this on as well. We then ordered our meal. The food took longer than we expected considering there were only a couple other tables with guests at them. When the food arrived the waitress realized my husband’s order was wrong and took it back immediately. We then waited again for about 10 minutes for our food to come out. When it came out my husband’s food was fine but I immediately noticed the lack of food on my plate. I ordered Sunset Supreme Waffles which is supposed to come with strawberry preserves, Fresh strawberries and whipped cream. I asked them to hold the preserves though as I do not like them. The result was them giving me just fresh strawberries and whipped cream which is what I wanted. Little did I know that the fresh strawberries would total up to approximately 1 strawberry cut in small pieces which is ridiculous. Especially since I didn’t have the preserves. Any other location I have been to in the past have never been so cheap with the strawberries. When I asked the waitress about this all she could say was I’m sorry. No offer to provide more or anything. I tried to get past this and start eating only to discover that my waffles were overcooked and very dry. I could barely cut into them with my knife. The waffles were also cold from sitting while my husband’s meal was remade. I also discovered that the sausage I ordered on the side was undercooked. As a result I did not eat my meal. I would have spoken to the waitress about them but she never came back to our table to check on us. At this point there was only one other customer in the restaurant so I know it was not because she was busy. We ended up having to going to the counter to get our bill and pay. When we brought the issue with my meal up to the manager as we were leaving all he could do was say I’m sorry and look at the floor. No offer to make it better or take it off our bill. I don’t think I have ever had such a bad experience at a restaurant. Please see pictures attached to this review. The strawberries you see pictured are all that came with it even though we paid extra for the Supreme. The bill was actually very accurate - 1 fresh strawberry is all I got. Horrible restaurant!! Go to a different location.

At a whopping $17.49 for 2 pieces of French Toast, a very sad looking order of preserves, a singular strawberry sliced very thinly (remember that these are currently in season), and possibly the most deflated whipped cream to have ever been served. Regularly 2 pieces of French Toast will run you $9.99 with $3.25 for added fresh fruit, $3.25 for added preserves, and $2.49 for added whipped cream for a total of $18.98 meaning that the Sunset Supreme will save you $1.50 on this combo order. The looks were seriously lacking and unfortunately the taste only brought the review further down. The toast was chewy and regretful, though I suppose the soggy preserves and liquid whipped cream did help transform the French Toast from cardboard to something vaguely chewable. The store is usually well kept for the most part when I have been in there. My final bone to pick is with curbside. Don't have a curbside option if you're going to leave people sitting there waiting 20 minutes for two coffees when the rest of the store is practically empty and the drive-thru flowing. The fact I have to get out of my vehicle just to go get my own order is horrible and it's happened twice now! Keep in mind people have physical impairments that don't allow them to sit in long lineups or get up and walk it to a store so a lot of people that use curbside pickup it may be the most viable option if they are dealing with pain like myself. The fact that I have to go in the store get my own coffee and the manager just hears me complaining and steps back where I can't see her until I get louder then she pops her head over and ask if everything's okay and then the fact that I told her no it's not okay and explain my situation and then she just shrugged her shoulders and step back again out of sight tells me why this store is ran the way it is when she is there. I wouldn’t call it hidden gem or something you must try. You would probably get overly excited as there’s nothing else around here and give them 5 stars. Overall I don’t think I would come back or recommend it unless there’s a change in the kitchen. But hey they are not busy during the day on the weekend so that explains that.
