Would highly recommend booking, the place was humming and is small and intimate. The menu offers plenty of choices for veggies and vegans, with meat and fish options besides. The oyster mushroom shawarma was really nice and not something I tried elsewhere. The whipped goat’s cheese was also great and the pickled watermelon bumped it to the next interesting level. I tried their dessert Lebanese wine which was definitely not to die for but interesting to try - similar I style to sherry or Madeira. The shakes, cakes, and jars of sweet goodness. They are really nice! We bought 2 different custom shakes and 2 different jars of flavoured cheesecake. Kinder Bueno cheese cake... Gorgeous! So tasty!! Enough to share for 2 people as a desert. Same goes for the cadbury caramel cheesecake, just delightful. But us too much for one person, but worth the money for sure! The shakes were also very tasty, but had a taste of either cucumber or watermelon in every other sip. Which was a little off putting. But i must state that everything was still very nice. A very tasty selection, lots of choice. Great service and looks like it's a busy service when we collected the deserts. Everyone was wearing protective gloves and hair nets, which was great to see. And the suggestion to improve the Google search was accepted by the managers at the back of the building, who seemed open to suggestions for improvement. Will definitely be going back for more!

When booking I requested early but was advised on the phone the best time to come to avoid a wait for food was 3:15 so that’s what we booked. The tea itself was served on a wooden breadboard instead of a cake stand which swamped the small table leaving not much room for plates or drinks. Then we inquired about the missing items and 10 minutes later we were brought brownies to replace the macaroons(not a favourite, I would have preferred the macaroons) and cream cheese sandwiches. However there was no room on the table to put this plate down so I had to lift them off and place them on the breadboard myself while the waiter held it. After all this and 45 minutes after we arrived we were asked if we would like tea or coffee, it arrived when the majority of the meal was finished. The food itself was ok but nothing startling, I don’t eat meat but my husband said the ham and mustard sandwiches had that much mustard you couldn’t taste anything else. The scones were nice but tiny. I was really looking forward to this treat, I do like an afternoon tea but this was probably the worst I’ve had and one of the most expensive. I guess you pay for the name but certainly don’t pay for quality or service.

The cookie dough that was essentially meant to be regular cookie dough was white chocolate chip dough so definite confusion there if they meant to do that but the toppings of white chocolate sauce and smarties were non existent anyway. I will definitely eat that again! Must visit for some freshly baked cakes - and one of a kind! Staff owner everyone is very friendly and after talking to them you can tell that they take pride in what they create and care for their product and customers!

Waffles and churros were hard with barely any Nutella and no caramel sauce even tho that’s what I ordered. Cookie dough however wasn’t bad and didn’t really have an issue with that but everything else was appalling deffo won’t be ordering from here again. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
