It’s part pastry kitchen, part café, and honestly one of the most impressive places I’ve been to in Tirana. We went four times during our stay because it was just that good. The pastries are on a completely different level. Everything is made in-house, beautifully crafted and insanely delicious. My personal favorite was the Raffaello cake, but the lemon cake also stood out – super citrusy, light and fresh. I also tried the raspberry (good but not my top choice) and an orange-chocolate mousse one, which was tasty but very heavy. Everything was made with so much care and detail that it honestly feels rare to find this kind of pastry quality, even in big European capitals. Coming from Copenhagen, this level of craftsmanship is something you only see in very niche spots back home. The coffee is also excellent, and they serve small chocolates and other sweets that are equally well made. Service was really good too. We came in with a big group a couple of times, loud and all, and they still took great care of us without any fuss. Prices are surprisingly low for the quality you’re getting. The amount of handwork and professionalism that goes into these pastries is seriously impressive. To find a place like this in Tirana feels like a hidden gem – French-level patisserie at Albanian prices. All in all, Le Bon is worth every visit. We were arriving from a late recent brunch therefore we were not very hungry , we just wanted to eat a delicious pasta . Everything was going well until we ordered just a bowl of pasta per person and Still water and the waiter looked at us in a funny way and said “hmmm…” and paused . He kindly suggested we order a salad but we declined . The pasta came and it was okay not the best , and not how I remember eating there previous times . Also when we placed our order in the menu is said ravioli/cappelletti and I remember I specifically said ravioli , we were served cappelletti . Not that it matters that much the shape of the pasta but I would have appreciated to be told in advance , but I suppose the waiter assumed we cannot distinguish between different shapes of pasta. The tagliatelle with Venison was okay ,it was much more scrumptious the previous times.After we finished our meal we ordered homemade limoncello which is complimentary which is a nice touch . Moving on when we asked for our check I wanted to pay by card which is in every costumer’s right and the waiter was not happy . He said the commission is very high for the business and the payment was not high enough(2300 leke)which is funny because there is no low limit for the payment by card. This happened also in June , the payment was near 5000 leke and the same waiter was not very happy that we wanted to pay by card . If I am satisfied with the service most of the times even when I pay by card I leave a tip on cash for the service . Suffice to say this place used to be on of my favourites in Tirana but obviously wont be coming back there anytime soon.
