The suites are huge and spotlessly clean. The service is flawless. We communicated with the front desk staff via WhatsApp and the responses were almost always instantaneous and helpful. Belize is certainly a tourist friendly place and when I changed my flight from Belize city to SP to an earlier flight the Tropic Air rep coordinated with The Phoenix to have my transfer from the small SP airport to the hotel available. We also had my nephews and their parents in a second suite. The stay was wonderful. From the minute we booked, the entire staff went above and beyond to help us prepare including stocking the room with baby snacks, diapers, pack and plays, and highchairs at our request, and helping to book a babysitter to stay with them a few times at the Kid's Club (they require an additional sitter if your kids are under 4, otherwise you can just drop them off). They even took the time to put outlet covers throughout the suite, and to add kid friendly plates and forks. We were always greeted with a smile, their information was so helpful, and the team helped to book several excursions that were seamless from an operations standpoint. They also helped us find a photographer to take a few pictures of the family for the grandparents. The location was top notch -- lots of interesting places to explore in walking distance and they helped us book golf carts for getting to the other parts of the island. The resort also had complimentary activities -- we attended a chocolate tasting, a rum tasting, and a s'mores pit, as well as their daily complimentary happy hour. The front desk also had lots of items on request, and we ended up borrowing sunscreen, aloe, and a curling iron from the front desk, which were all so helpful. We ordered room service and poolside service multiple times from Red Ginger and the food was stellar. In particular, recommend the fry jacks for breakfast, the chicken sol bowl for lunch, and the fish dishes for dinner. Finally, the rooms were excellent. Clean, comfy, and spacious. Highly recommend the Phoenix!
