In our 3 night stay with a toddler, we were provided with a corner room wherein this work started after our checkin and was this way until we left. It was a huge window which was completely removed, at the height of the 4th floor. It was wide open most of the night and mornings. Even after multiple requests we were not shifted to a different room. They would do a quick fix only for it to be removed in the coming hours. The reason for not shifting us was unavailability of rooms even though people kept checking in and out over days. If they were full board, was it safe for them to carry on such work? Even if it was an emergency how was it okay to assign the room right next to the window to a family with a young kid? Our kid had to be held every time the door was opened, freaking us out. I'm not willing to take names but this male manager in charge was nothing but concerned. He always tried to just fix the issue but never understood the problem. It was probably just that one person who made us give a one star review when every other staff did a great job. The food was great, the breakfast spread was good, rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and diligent. We loved everything but the way they brushed off our entire concern and said their hands were tied for 3 full days is indeed unwelcoming.

The desserts were average but fared better when compared to the below average items I had before them. With all the anticipation with which I came, I was now trying my best to finish off as soon as possible and get out of there. I saw a couple of old timer staff who were really good with their service. There were many managers and none of them even had a smile on their face. The new service staff looked to be from the northern parts of the country and did not know English, Hindi or any other language properly. God knows who recruited them!! I cannot say about the state of affairs of the other two restaurants here but going by the experience I had in Dimple and my long association with daspalla while I was in Vizag, it is safe to say that I will not be coming back here ever again. If they delay then other restos also be closed and we as customers be left with no option rather than starving whole night because of them. Even when we did manage to receive our orders, the food quality was consistently subpar compared to the exorbitant prices they charge. The taste was bland, portions were small, and the overall presentation left much to be desired. It's unbelievable how they can justify their high prices for such mediocre food. Given the appalling experience we've had, I firmly believe Wok Republic should consider shutting down their business. They clearly do not have the competence or dedication to run a successful restaurant. It would be wise for them to hand over the reins to more capable and customer-focused cafe franchises. The corn was nicely fried and the Paneer was blended with the right amount of masala and aroma.
