We had the Strawberry Shortcake and it was way better than I thought. The sponge was moist and melty, I actually prefer this kind of texture than the super soft dry ones. The whipped cream wasn’t oily and the strawberry jam tasted very fresh, not too sweet, with real chunks of strawberry in it. The Honey Seasalt Croissant was kinda confusing because I couldn’t taste any seasalt at all? but the buttery flakes were really nice and crispy. Maybe they can make the sea salt flavor stand out more. For the coffee, I asked for vanilla on the side (coffee police please don’t judge me) and it made it even better. I don’t know much about coffee but this is hands down one of the best lattes I’ve had in Batam. We also ordered the Ukimidori Matcha and it was umami, with a fruity aftertaste. We thought the matcha wasn’t deep and bold enough, probably because of the matcha-to-milk ratio. Another thing is the matcha wasn’t the microfoamy, thick, velvety, fluffy type and more on the lighter side which was a bit disappointing.
