I had the pecan dessert slice and I would have shown a picture except it was so damn good I coveted it and ate it without taking a photo. Had a 12oz Milky (closest thing to a latte they offer) and it was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. Chocolate chip cookie and chia pudding were both unreal as well. Should’ve got the barista’s name, but he was super friendly and explained they don’t change the texture of their milk no matter the size of the drink - so a cortado equivalent or cappuccino equivalent or latte etc are always going to have the same milk texture. We searched for somewhere in the local area to go for lunch for our anniversary on our way to the ferry. When I walked in I told the staff that I didn't have much time, and they took my order as soon as I sat down. I picked up a vegan Nanaimo bar to go. It has a very good assortment of gluten free and dairy free options, as well as many other dietary restricted options.
