In 2025 it was ranked as the 4th best coffee cafe in the world by a publication. This was my first visit to the cafe and I was able to get a table after a 5-10 mins wait. I wanted to try as many coffees, and therefore ended up ordering the cold-drip flight which comprised 3 small cold-drips coffees of 3 different beans (their monthly highlight). You can also order the espresso, long black or pour over version of the same flight. I think ordering the flight is best way to experience of what this place has to offer. Also ordered a few food items. Absolutely loved the Tamarind Eggplant Omelette and the Harissa Eggs. Would definitely recommend trying these 2 dishes. Service was quite decent, and the servers were very responsive in listening to us and with their recommendations. Overall, a brilliant cafe with excellent coffee. A 100% recommendation

seven seeds在大学城区大众点评上top1的咖啡，被推荐的是flat white，4.5Aud，他们用的这款豆子口感上偏涩，喝完后嘴特干，是好喝的，但是不像评价说的那么热烈。哦对了，有拉花～～终于。 另外点了一个推荐的牛肉汉堡，18aud，很扎实，切开后立马看到大概7成熟的安格斯牛，包着其中一些酸酸甜甜的红酱，像是腌制的萝卜，yum！ 另外按店员推荐点了一份king oar salmon，配有水波蛋和芦笋，蛋黄调的酱汁超级爽口！20刀 #墨尔本咖啡们

Later we guessed it must've been the saffron. Too much Saffron to be exact, which gave the dish that chemical taste. Our palates just couldn't take it. May need to tweek this combination. We ordered the waffles with strawberries, candied banana and chocolate ice cream, hoping it will get rid of the naphthalene taste in our mouth and also get to eat some crunchy waffle. Wrong again. The waffles were not crispy again. When asked, they said they were pre-made waffles. Our bill was $115. We have eaten better meals for far less!! Open air design (common now) which makes the place feel big and not stuffy. Starting to get busy just before 8am as you can tell it’s a popular spot for morning coffee / food for office workers. The service I would say is prompt and pretty immediate. It’s a ship that’s tightly run and you can tell that the moment you walk in. Workers are friendly and are on a mission to get you your coffee asap! From walking in, getting a seat to placing an order and then receiving my coffee was all in under 3 minutes which was almost incredible? Crazy fast. But fast doesn’t always mean good, But this time it did. I ordered my usual, a double shot mocha which if the coffee is burnt you can taste it, or if it’s over extracted the coffee becomes thin and loses its glisten. But the coffee came out in a fantastically warm cup, was smooth and most importantly tasty with silky froth on-top. (I even forgot to take a photo before my first sip!). When I got to the bottom of the cup I did get some “grainyness” from the powder in the mocha but that’s expected when you aren’t using real chocolate in it. One thing that’s worth noting is that the tables (atleast the 2 seater ones) are the most sturdy cafe table I have ever leaned on. You would have no trouble bringing a laptop in and typing away and don’t have to worry at all about the wiggle of the screen as you type your very important emails! In the department of actually purchasing their beans, there is I believe a complete range of their products. From beans, pre ground for drip, espresso, instant coffee, pods and even ready to brew coffee bags. If you are after a reliable and consistent coffee with no fuss, Axil coffee roasters is a great option out of the many out there.

Coffee is pretty good which puts it up there with most Melbourne cafes. My friend said her meal was pretty good although the portion size was a little small. Like most red blooded Melbournians I am a self confessed coffee snob and there was absolutely no issues in this department. Rich, served strong and smooth. I also tried the Gabroni Iced Latte which was a subtle non alcoholic twist on a favourite cocktail of mine with a subtle hint of rosemary. A must try. To the food. I was recommended the Salmon and Beets. It was fantastic. Simple as that. Balanced flavours, tangy capers with fish and for someone that normally doesn't steer towards beetroot I found it paired perfectly with the rest of the dish and I savoured each piece. My highlight of this place was the service because the waitress was really kind and patient with my indecisive self, but she took the time to explain all their pastries and cookies and give recommendations which was much appreciated. I think I prefer more cosy spots but this was really visually appealing for me and it’s definitely succeeding with the vibe it’s going for. As for the choc chip cookie it looks really nice visually but I would say it’s a skip, it’s too dry and tough for me and too sweet. Overall I’m glad I got to try ACOFFEE’s matcha and can recommend you to try.
