THAI STYLE FISH IN LIME SAUCE. Select the fish of your choice (recommended red snapper). This dish was super refreshing, a little bit spicy. Something different that you won’t normally order but now will get you addicted. HOT AND SOUR SOUP. Great way to start up your appetite with a spicy and sour soup. Rich flavours and definitely spicy. Theres chili seeds which is a little bit off putting when drinking the soup. HOMEMADE TOFU. The homemade tofu drenched in mushroom and chicken minced is a classic must order tofu dish. The tofu has a smokey taste from being fried, the sauce was really thick and rich. YAM BASKET. Crispy thick yam served with your choice of dish in the centre. In our case we ordered scallop. Scallop was fresh and sweet. Overall, had a pleasant dinner with the family celebrating mums birthday. Waiters and waitresses immediately cleared the table. Then served the cake with a special birthday song after the meal (though waiting for the cake took a little bit too long. Understandable as everyone is busy). Really memorable dinner.

This restaurant is another victim of pleasing the local (majority) palate, erasing the essence of flavours. I had to request adaptions to my dishes (garlic fried rice and Sichuan beancurd). The beancurd was just too brothy, a bit salty and just really lacked balance taste. The garlic fried rice was ok. The restaurant is good for accommodating to big group dinners/lunch due to ample space and seating.

The entrance reminded me of a grand chinese wedding venue. It has comfortable seating and spacious design and an awesome view of kampung air opposite. The food itself was pretty good Chinese food. My issue really was around the service. After taking the order that was it. No checking in with us and we had to flag them down for additional things like getting drinks etc. When I went to pay they have a ton of credit and e payment options listed. As we just landed I didn't want to use up all my Brunei dollars so I asked to pay by credit. card The employee said the minimum was $30. Shredded Kailan leaves were deep fried till it becomes crispy, while the main stalk of veg is lightly poached. Not overcooked. Curry Fish Head @ 6/10. It's overall ok. Not spicy, but somehow curry taste not dominant. Petai sambal with eggplant @ 7/10. Taste is well balanced, allowing the Petai beans to carry it's taste while not overpowered by the sambal chili. Eggplan was cooked just nice without it being too mushy. Will surely pre-order this dish. Special in-house fried tofu @ 6/10. Not bad. Dont know how else to describe it. Pumpkin milk chicken @ 5/10. The chicken is a little tough, and the "pumpkin milk" could have been a bit more creamier and more. It's kinda dry. Overall worth the visit, as there are not many other authentic Chinese restaurant of this standard around.

The food were OK. They did kind of get my order messed up a bit ... or rather missed my order. Had to remind them. But all was good. Had a great time there with good food and great company. Service was quick and staffs were friendly and helpful. Dim sum is excellent and always served piping hot. They have a large variety to choose from (depending on availability). They are quite consistent with the taste however, it does vary from time to time. But overall, still delicious. Really recommend their black pepper sui mai, shark dumpling, century egg mai, chicken feet, large intestine, paikut and salad prawn. They also have other Chinese dishes in the menu. I really liked their century egg dish and fried salted egg eggplant. They also have interesting dishes like peanut butter fried pork, milo prawns etc.
