Fusion flavours here with indo Chinese cuisine. Certainly value for money. The venue is okay and has plenty of space. Food was okay with 1 or 2 really great dishes(honey crispy and tai pai). The waiter /front desk guy was great. His service and attentiveness was good but what really stood out was his guidance through out the menu and his knowledge of the menu and the cooking of some of the dishes.As a foodie and an accomplished cool this is always good for me to know when I am questioning on the menu.
Chicken lollipops were not great and neither was the sweet and sour and very odd crispy noodles with ice cream. Messy eating and just not that great a combination as it sounds.
Paid parking available. Drinks a little pricey as you would expect in most restaraunts.

This was my first time visiting Bombay Wok — I actually found it on TheFork! I went to Hounslow to visit a friend and thought, hey, since I’ve driven 40 minutes, I might as well make an evening of it. And let me tell you, the restaurant did not disappoint, baby!
We ordered the Pepper Chilli Beef, Kung Pao Fish, Singapore Noodles with Prawn, Chef’s Special Rice, and a couple of cocktails — a Fresh Berries Mojito and a Piña Colada. Everything was packed with flavour, and that piña colada? Easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time — the cocktails really hit the spot.
Everything was reasonably priced too, and the 50% discount definitely came in handy.
Shoutout to Emilija and Margi for their lovely customer service — both were friendly and attentive once things got going. That said, it did take a little while to get started. We were seated but waited over 10 minutes for menus and eventually had to ask for one 😏. Emilija even came to take our drinks order before realising she hadn’t given us the drinks menu! She was like, “I didn’t give you one?”
But once things picked up, the evening was smooth sailing. Great food, great cocktails, and a nice atmosphere. It’s definitely somewhere I’d go back to.

Crispy Honey Chicken and Tom Yum soup was divine.
The chicken lolipop is to die for! We had the Kung Pao chicken, Sapo Fish, Hakka noodles and Singapore fried rice. For a party of 4 this order and portion size was perfect!
The flavours and spices were spot on. Definitely a place I will be coming back to!

I have been a regular customer but I stopped going to this restaurant as last time when I did takeaway, the food was less in quantity the containers were half empty and the beef was very chewy. I did not go back for more than a year or so. Today I placed an order to collect. The person who took order the phone lied that he works there and there is no manager to talk to (now replying that he is the owner :)) I ordered Szechuan chicken and beef in black bean sauce. I specifically told them that after last experience I haven’t visited them for more than a year so please make sure that the food is good. When I went to collect the order the restaurant was completely empty around 8:30 pm. When I got home my family had food. The containers were reasonably filled but with gravy and very less pieces of chicken in Szechuan Chicken and the beef was very chewy and the bell peppers were not crunchy at all infact were over cooked. The meat in the beef dish was very less too with more gravy and the black sauce gravy was very watery. Not impressed with the food again after a gap of 1.5 year. My family decided that we won’t go there again we gave another chance but it’s a rip off. Which I will agree with.
The reply of the owner says a lot about their customer services !!!! Please read the reply where the owner has left very personal remarks like "unhappy in your own life". The owner of Bombay Wok is mocking for leaving reviews for McDonald's and Baskin-Robbins, but those brands are just as significant in the restaurant and catering industry. Why make fun of them?
It really reflects on the owner and the quality of their customer service.

Deeply Disappointed and Shocked by Takka Tak, West Hounslow
I am absolutely stunned and disgusted by my experience at Takka Tak, West Hounslow. We are a vegetarian family, and my husband is baptised (Amritdhari) — which means he strictly does not consume meat or anything that has been near it.
We clearly ordered Malai Kofta and Channa Masala, both vegetarian dishes. To our horror, the chef cooked and served Butter Chicken instead of Malai Kofta. We didn’t realize at first until we noticed the taste and smell — by then, the food had already been served to us.
This is completely unacceptable. Such a mistake is not just carelessness — it is deeply disrespectful and insensitive to people’s religious and ethical beliefs. When someone says they are vegetarian and orders accordingly, the restaurant has a moral and professional duty to ensure no cross-contamination or mix-up occurs.
We expected basic responsibility, but what we experienced was negligence of the highest order. This incident has caused emotional distress and loss of trust. I strongly urge the management to train their staff properly, enforce strict food handling protocols, and take the matter of dietary and religious sensitivity seriously.
Until then, I would never recommend Takka Tak to anyone — especially to vegetarians or those with religious dietary restrictions. What happened to us should never happen to another customer again.

Pratham was an exceptionally good server who wasn't pushy at all but could recommend good dishes. Also didn't keep asking if the food was OK every five minutes which we appreciated.
The lamb chops were a standout for me they were amazing.
Is the food expensive ? Very.... was it worth it ? £180 for 3 of us ? Absolutely.
There is cheap shite out there and then there is this food which is miles ahead of most things we've tried anywhere in the world.
We heard some people complain about the service charge but the service was top notch and worth every penny as was the food.
Also worth mentioning the portion sizes were huge we boxed some up and made 3 more meals out of it the next day

Finally the hunt for good Chicken Lollypop comes to an end! They do the perfect crunchy Lollypop paired with the perfect schezwan sauce. It is one of the best Indo/Chinese restaurant in London I have tried so far. The Manchow soup was spot on, the naan were well done and other items on the menu looked good too. We had a great service experience, the chicken Manchurian was a tad salty, on informing the server, she was kind enough to take it off the bill and return it to the kitchen. Overall a great experience. Perfect when you a craving hot spicy food in winters.
They also offer 15% discount on collections if you want to save a few quids.

We came here on a whim. Started off with a pina colada. Just could be a little sweeter with the syrup! We were offered masala popoddum. This was lovely as well as the masala mogo and goan calamari. We had a fantastic meal here — the food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The restaurant went out of their way to cater to our special dietary requirements (gluten-free and dairy-free), which made us feel truly looked after. This is a lovely, local chinese restaurant which serves various dishes. For starters, we got the har gau which stuck to the paper which was sad, I urge the restaurant to use different paper in the basket but it was still nice. We got sesame prawn toast which was fantastic, as was the calamari and vegetable spring rolls. The fried vegetable tempura is also good. For the main we got the beef chow kway teow which was fantastic, so flavourful. We also got the prawn Malaysian curry which was my personally favourite. Service was amazing and so was the ambience. Our bill totalled roughly £60 and I would definitely recommend visiting.

Very friendly staff but one of the worst take away food that we have ever had. Seriously, I can't explain how bad it was. Singapore fried rice and special fried rice were awful. It was like the rice was a few days old and re-heated and barely any meat in them. Crispy duck was way too dry and texture was a bit funny and didn't taste nice at all.

I honestly don’t understand how this place is still in business. Not only was the food terrible, but the way the staff (and especially the owner) handled our complaint was downright appalling. Here’s what happened:
1. You’re forced to pay before you even get the food. We were told this is “because the boss wants it that way.” That alone raised red flags. Why would a restaurant demand full payment up front if they’re confident in what they serve?
2. When the food arrived, it was a disaster. The duck looked like it had been blown apart, the rice was a sad grey mess, and everything just looked and tasted stale. Not even close to fresh or appetizing.
3. We didn’t eat it and asked for a refund – they refused. Despite clearly expressing our concerns and not touching the food, the staff flat-out declined to take any responsibility.
4. And then came the worst part: the chef. He came out, closed the restaurant in front of us, and started screaming at my partner. No apology, no professionalism – just pure aggression and disrespect.
It’s one thing to serve bad food. But to handle feedback with this level of arrogance and hostility? Completely unacceptable. Do yourself a favor: spend your time and money somewhere else.

They availability of an economic take away container was great as well. 4.50$
I went in for a take out around 830pm a different time and food was still being added to the warming trays. A few trays were low but I figure it's a good thing...no food being made and stored for another day.
Great experience both times, I'll probably go another time before I leave. I love supporting family run businesses. Very friendly.

So tried this takeaway for the 1st time today, firstly i have to say, what a lovely lady i spoke to on the phone, she took my order and was friendly and polite and patient with me as i was unsure about a few of the items i was ordering. My food was delivered by a friendly and polite driver tpo.
Our food came piping hot, i thought i had ordered something wrong so i called up again and the lady at the other end explained to me politely what my meals were and how they should look and i have to say the food was lovely, the service lovely and the friendliness of the lady taking the order to the driver was just such a nice experience.

This shop changed hands a few years ago, and as a result the food is awful, tried it a couple of times now and every time it has been a letdown. I thought I'd play it safe and order a pancake roll but it was just a pile of mush. The black bean sauce is bland, none of the food has much taste to it compared to other Chinese takeaway. The duck in plum sauce wasn't even plum sauce. Best thing is the rice. Very disappointing as it's at the end of my road, and I like to support local shops.

usually order for Beijing chef which isn't too far. However, decided a change and as this place is a 2 minute drive from my house, ordered food here reading the reviews. Sadly the food had no flavouring what so ever. No salt in my tofu and vegetables. My husband ordered a Kung Po chicken and once again it was as if the chicken was dipped in a tesco sauce without salt. On Friday, August 22nd, I ordered Salt and Chilli Crispy King Prawns along with Sesame Prawn Toast, and what arrived was nothing short of disgraceful.
The prawns were encased in a batter so dense and unyielding that when placed on my plate they landed with a loud thud, more like tarmac than food. Eating them was vile — a punishment, not a meal.
The curry sauce was no better. Instead of a smooth, flavorful accompaniment, I received a paste-like sludge with an oddly meaty, biryani-like taste. It was unpleasant, heavy, and completely wrong. The prawn toast was perhaps the worst offender: an unidentifiable mushy filling that bore no resemblance to prawns or toast in any decent sense of the word.
To add insult to injury, the delivery took nearly an hour for just two items — a level of delay that screams incompetence. If I served food of this quality, I would be ashamed.

I have to say the food was delicious. I had 2 starters and a special house noodles with king prawns. It asked for it to be spicy and they added a bit green chillies which was perfect. It was full of lovely crunchy veg and big prawns.
The veg spring rolls were also very tasty.
Generous portions as well as i had it for 2 days. Good on reheat.

Ordered a bbq chicken box meal, paid £17 which is an extortionate price in itself so was expecting a half decent meal. Unfortunately the meal was anything but. The wings were dry and tiny, the rustic chips had literally no potato in it, it was like eating oily shells, and the burger stunk of what i can only describe as old oil and smoke. The meal was tasty, fresh and presented well. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, for what you receive the cost is excessive. Sometimes when a meal, four beers and a glass of wine for three people costs $225 you walk out thinking wow, that was exceptional, but that wasn't the case for us with Zen. We’ve been going to this restaurant on and off for about 10 years now. Food use to be good & although outrageously pricey, on special occasions it seemed worth it. However, our most recent visit confirmed that this was our last! One would visit very upbeat & bearing in mind your within premium hotel brand setting but your evening immediately turns to disappointment as your greeted by strange staff who have no expressions & look fed up & instantly make it obvious they’re talking about you in their own language! The food is ridiculously over priced and comes out within 5mins, presentation is dated and looks like something reheated which has been kept in the fridge for days! Venturing into this Nepalese eatery, we were immediately drawn to the momos, and they did not disappoint. We opted for both the tandoor chicken momos and the deep-fried chicken momos. The tandoor momos, generously coated in a flavorful tandoor sauce, were a delightful fusion of textures and spices. The deep-fried momos, on the other hand, offered a satisfying crunch that complemented the accompanying sauce perfectly. With approximately ten momos per plate, the value for money was exceptional.
We also sampled the Kathmandu house curry, which, while not a personal favorite in terms of flavor intensity, still possessed a pleasant blend of spices and paired wonderfully with the garlic naan. A single portion proved ample for two, especially when accompanied by other dishes.
For drinks, we chose the mango lassi, a refreshing choice, though a wider selection of lassi flavors would have been appreciated. A slight disappointment was the absence of hot drinks on the menu.
The restaurant's ambiance was tranquil, particularly as we arrived at noon on a Saturday. The interior, adorned with captivating posters of Nepalese landmarks, exuded a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Soft ambient music played in the background, creating a pleasant dining environment without being intrusive.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering dish recommendations and ensuring a pleasant experience. The dining area was impeccably clean.
Parking was conveniently available nearby, adjacent to Quality Foods, and the restaurant's proximity to bus stops made it easily accessible via public transportation.

My sister-in-law recommended this place so we came here for lunch and the food did not disappoint. I usually go to another Nepalese restaurant in Hounslow but I think this might be my new favourite restaurant now.
Each and every dish that we ordered was absolutely amazing. I liked the food so much though I ordered it three days later for takeaway. I would most definitely recommend the Momo platter and schezwan squid.
The only downside is when I entered the restaurant I had to wave therefore at least 10 minutes because no one was there to let me in or give me a table.

A place discovered by happenstance on new year's eve and I'm extremely happy for dining in this gem of an authentic Nepalese restaurant.
Everything about this eatery is good: the atmosphere, wals with Nepalese locality, and pictures of snowy mountains will make you feel in Nepal. The ever so compassionate, polite and patient staff will make your time memorable.

Decided to look up a difference Chinese as mine was closed and it’s safe to say I won’t do it again, this is the worst Chinese possible it’s tasteless and the portion sizes are ridiculously small the price I paid. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with boiled rice and seaweed with my wife ordering the duck, they were all better than one another couldn't recommend it more.
I think what I was trying to get across is maybe it just helped me relive a childhood memory as that's how i would have wanted to imagine where I was taken lol.

First time I tried this place and I'm glad I did! I ordered beef with mushrooms, special fried rice and egg rolls. The beef was so good and the most tender (no fat) I've ever had from a Chinese. Baked crab with Ginger and spring onion was a delight and pork in spicy salt was also very enjoyable and prepared with quality meat.
We also had vegetable fried rice, which was very tasty and went well with the pork, as well as crispy aromatic lamb, which was unfortunately rather on the dry side and not as flavoursome as we expected.

The food here is really very good, but as a business, the service is very erratic. Quite often they close randomly without any warning. But today really took the biscuit. They stated that they would be open on Boxing Day so we placed an order through Just Eat. Everything went through and it said it would be arriving at 6.30. First time trying this place and very pleasantly surprised. The kung po prawns were really nice and not to battered, the sweet and sour pork was excellent and the chicken satay and chicken black bean were also really good. It did take a bit longer than 25 mins when I went to collect but they were very busy. Offered me a free bottle of drinks and had some free prawn crackers. Tried a lot of Chinese takeaway restaurants in the area and this is definitely my new favourite. They just need to give more realistic time frames on the phone, but to be honest that is nearly always the case with ordering food. No real complaints.

Sadly it was extremely disappointing. Clearly not what I had expected. I had read numerous reviews and seen the photos put online in regards to this restaurant and believe me it was not nothing like this. If I could leave a minus 1 star review I would. Firstly when we went in there there was hardly anything out in the buffet. What was out was cold and I don’t mean just warm actually felt like it had been in a fridge. I watched noodles come out from the kitchen went to get some and they were even cold to which I asked a waitress how they were cold and was told they are cold when they come out of the kitchen and warm up in the buffet heater which I’m pretty sure is against health and safety. Our drinks then came over and I ordered a bottle of water I was given a bottle of water from Morrisons which would cost no more than 25p and is illegal for them to be selling from part of a multipack they then tried to charge me £2.80 for it. My partner had a glass of coke which was apparently £4.80 but was given no menu to see if that price was correct as it seems pretty high. When speaking to the manager about the cold food no partial refund was offered and not even an apology for the fact there was half the items missing in the buffet and no live cooking all which are included in the price but was not available. Would really recommend everyone to not go here unless you’d like a few days off of work for food poisoning.

Ordered on Deliveroo and the food was disgusting, the Duck with pancakes was extremely overcooked and inedible and the pancakes were stale
The chilli Squid was also very overcooked and hard on the outside and very, very chewy ( like a rubber band ) on the inside
The Chow Mien ( Chow Mean as they have it spelt on Deliveroo ) was completely flavourless, no soy sauce or any seasoning for that matter
Only nice thing was the Chocolate fudge cake
Seriously disappointed as our first meal with China Wok was great
For some unknown reason we can’t leave a review on Deliveroo, don’t know if its a fault with Deliveroo or China Wok knows that they sent out terrible overcooked and under seasoned food so they blocked us being able to leave a review on Deliveroo
Deliveroo would only refund partially due to only having a photo of the cremated Duck, hard to prove overcooked, hard squid

I recently visited Beijing House at 564 London Rd, Isleworth, and I was really impressed. The Special Fried Rice was absolutely delicious and truly authentic – a definite must-try! The Chicken Chow Mein was lovely, perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

So disappointed. Have spent a lot of money with this restaurant over the years but they must have new staff or chef or something because our food today was dire, inedible. The order was wrong but when I called to complain the woman immediately told me it was my fault and not their food and refused to talk about replacement or refund. The beef was terrible, it tasted like plastic. The chicken wasn't that yummy, but it was OK. The rice was just normal. I liked Prawn crackers, they were the best of the food I took.
