Now the food and the menu, bread and wide menu yet realistically it's not much in there. We chose the buffet for the wide range if variety which is there yet was lacking to be unique the chicken was mainly a change in the sauce which wasn't rich felt mostly very sugary. The noodles we asked to have it Cho Mein which was promised to be the same as the noodles in the buffet but it wasn't which was disappointing. Might come back for the concept but not the food. The staff provided chicken nuggets and chips for the kids and the restaurant plays calming music. Great for someone with autism. The service was wonderful, we also had a gluten intolerant person within our party and the staff were more than accommodating. Giving us suggestions on what they could eat or specially make GF for our party member. Highly recommend for a chill evening out with great food and amazing service.

However we can say we were pleasantly surprised. The service from Hong & Tracy was very friendly and attentive. Food was served quickly and very hot. We ordered starters then duck and soups, then mains and deserts. Our party of 4 came away not feeling uncomfortably full and having had a really nice meal. Yes the food is served on china plates but you eat off plastic plates but the ladies explained that with so many plates to carry they get very heavy and can get chipped which looks even worse. You have to pay for your food before you are served (previous problems with people doing runners without paying apparently !) and then you pay for your drinks at the end of the meal. We had such a nice meal and this was made special by the service from Hong & Tracy. Thank you ladies.

However, once food arrived all preconceptions were blown out of the water, the Cantonese chicken was fantastic, the Szechuan pork was killer, and the special mixed rice was filled with various meats and gorgeous! Atmosphere was slightly off, with a flickering light and less than clean carpet. Once we were done, my sister said she wished she could take home the Cantonese sauce and the waitress was lovely, she went to the kitchen and asked for some of the sauce to use while at home and the kitchen delivered! We have visited on several occasions and every time we are impressed with how tasty the food is. Tangs is an all you can eat table service restaurant. You can order a few starters from the vast and varied menu along with a soup, then once you finish these dishes, you can order more starters, and they come with crispy duck. If you have room and you're still hungry, there are loads of mains to choose. You are limited to the number of dishes you can order at one time, but this stops any food wastage... you can always order more. The price for adults is £24.95 each, and drinks and desserts are extra. It's a great way to sample lots of different things. They offer both a normal menu and an all you can eat option too. We chose the normal menu as my wife would not eat the value of the all you can eat. The food came out nice and promptly and was very tasty indeed, what I liked is that it wasn't over seasoned. The older lady who I presume is the owner double checked that what we ordered was ok, which was a nice touch. All in all it was fine my only criticism is that the room that you ate in was too brightly lit for my taste and spoiled the atmosphere a bit.

Ordered from here on Uber Eats last night. I usually order from magic wok but had an offer on UE so decided to give this place a go. Got my usual crispy shredded chicken in chilli, a chow mein, some satay sticks and my partner got a chow mein, some rice and curry sauce. My crispy shredded "chicken" was chicken less. Not even joking when I say it was just pieces of batter covered in a disgustingly sweet sauce. There was not one piece where i could taste or feel chicken in my mouth. The 'chicken' was not crispy, it was CRUNCHY. I even bit into multiple pieces with confusion trying to find the chicken inside but nothing. My partners chow mein left a burnt taste in his mouth, the satay skewers were a joke too, some pieces were soft and some pieces were chewy, the sauce didn't taste of peanuts at all, more tasted like a diluted curry sauce. The curry sauce looked gelatinous upon pouring it onto the plate. The prawn crackers were stale. Overall, not a great experience and won't be returning again.
