They are 100% lucky I didn't put this on my credit card because I would absolutely be filing a complaint and getting my money back via chargeback. Let this be a lesson to ANYONE ordering here, NEVER pay cash/debt and if this is the type of business practice you want to support, you deserve what you get after reading my review. Save yourself the headache by walking away and ordering from another chinese place. Absolutely disgusting behavior and I'll be sure to additionally contact the food inspection association. I highly recommend anything manchurian or china palace style! And if you could afford to add dumplings to your order I'd suggest you would but hopefully this is a one time experience as we are a fan of this restaurants manchurian and china palace style food!

My first bite into the egg roll my teeth could not bite through the filling and proceeded to pull the whole filling out of the roll. The filling had the consistency of ropes or twine. I couldn't tell if it was dried bean sprouts or some kind of par cooked noodle but needless to say you can't even bite through it so the whole lot were thrown out. As for the chow mein, everything tasted the same flavor, the flavor of a dirty wok. It was a 2/10 at best only because the noodles had a decent consistency and it was not smothered with sauce. The tao chicken was not chicken. It was a bowl full of batter with a couple of hard unchewable clumps. The sauce had zero spice and was watered down flavor. The chicken balls were ummm... Okay. The sauce was a little too sweet for my liking, it suppose to be sweet and sour, well this was red, and sweet. So red as a matter of fact that a few drops of it landed on the counter top and stained my counter. So heavy on the red food die and heavy on the sugar. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The people that have this a 4 star rating must be vaccinated and lost all their taste buds because this was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had the horror of eating.

The food is very tasty and full of flavor! We ordered a stir-fried Shanghai noodles and a Kung Pao chicken. The dishes were seasoned beautifully without being overpowering. We had a lovely visit and felt it was very good value for the money. In fact there was so much food we had enough to bring home for another meal! We are looking forward to going back to trying more of their dishes.

I got their general Tao chicken, rice and mixed vegetables. Everything was fine leading up to the vegetables. Their mushrooms and zucchini were very slimy and covered in raw garlic. I also couldn't go back and mention any issues because they were closed and no one behind the counter. I only had about 4 bites until I noticed how bad the vegetables were so I tossed the whole order. I ended up here because for some reason Aarya Hakka was closed. I had hoped this place would be as good but sadly no. I had the lunch special. I didn't find the portion that big like others have mentioned and the manchurian sauce was so uninteresting, lacked real flavour and once getting it home it congealed like it was made from a pile of fat/lard. I have no idea what the base of the sauce is. The only good things were the price was decent, the cashier was helpful and I liked the take out containers that kept the sauce separate from the rice so it doesn't dry up. And another thing I found strange was that to get steamed momos you have to wait 30 minutes so if you are stopping in on a lunch break that pretty much limits you getting momos that aren't fried. I have eaten plenty momos in my life and I never remember any place saying it will take that long unless its a jam packed busy restaurant. The place was empty so...why?!
