I live in Georgia abt 21/2 hours away, and I have been eating at this buffet for over 2yrs now. My son, who lives in Ocala, invited me for Lunch . Every time I visit my son or pass through to visit my daughter in Tampa, I have to eat here.This is the very best Chinese buffet I have ever eaten at. Food is always hot, fresh and very delicious no matter the time of day or night always more than you can eat.I came in once almost at closing time, and they had ,hot fresh cooked food, I have never been disappointed. 😋 I even drove down here for Mothers Day with all my children who are now grown up. I highly recommend this restaurant to others. The place is clean, and the staff is very friendly, and Waitresses are always respectful and courteous.My Waitress JENNY was so awesome, served us with a smile. I only speak with honesty and truth about this restaurant. God is always watching what we say and what we do. So it's important for me to always speak the truth. Yummy House has been a family favorite for both lunch and dinner, and I’ve dined here several times over the years. The food has consistently been exceptional, and the service is second to none. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure every visit is enjoyable.
However, on my most recent visit for their weekend dim sum special, I was disappointed. The quality of the dim sum was not up to the high standards I’ve come to expect from Yummy House. It lacked the flavor and freshness I’m used to experiencing here, which was surprising given their usual consistency.

My husband and I stopped in Yummy House Ocala because we were looking for shrimp fried rice for our ride back to Jacksonville. Well, once we read the reviews, we knew we could not go wrong with Yummy House. We decided to dine in, and we ordered the seafood pineapple fried rice, seafood salt and pepper combo, and the sweet and sour shrimp. The food was simply amazing. The service was great and the staff was very personable. I would highly recommend this location if you are in search of authentic cuisine.

Found this place a couple months before I left the area. Was so happy to find that they served dim sum on the weekends. It was very good. I had to bring friends in to share the experience. We all enjoyed the food. Weekend dim sum became a bit of a ritual. I enjoyed the beef congee. The har gow and the Hong Kong sticky rice were regularly ordered items - definitely our favs! Service is quick and friendly. Atmosphere on the weekends is lively as it is usually busy. Will be back the next time I’m in Ocala.

China Star is not the best food we've ever had. But they are pretty good and by far, not the worst. Some things are better than others. Of course personal tastes also come into play.
We have tried them more than once and haven't regretted it. Yes some things are only okay. But some things are very good. Again, it depends on your personal taste.
Prices seem on par with other similar restaurants. They are convenient to us, so they get a little extra slack. The restaurant seems adequately clean. And service seems good. So I guess I could recommend giving them a try.

I can overlook a lot of mistakes but rancid noodles? Really??? As much food as a chain sells this is very concerning. Totally ruined my dinner. The smell permeated through my car before I even opened the box. I swore off this place over a year ago because of poor food quality like grisel and cabbage cores then in a weak moment tried again and it was decent. Now I don't know if I'll go back. The servers made me wait a long time while they filled drive up orders and the entire staff seemed disorganized. Clearly, they have no control over ingredient sourcing though. We eat out quite frequently so I'll be looking for a more dependable place to get my asian food. Yuck!

So today I walked into the Panda Express to pick up a doordash order I deliver for doordash. The kitchen staff was busy there was several people in line and the manager Chris was sitting at a table on his laptop so I'm assuming he was the manager anyway. He noticed that I wasn't being helped (not that I had been there that long) so he got up from the table stopped what he was doing and got the order for me he didn't know this but I was late picking up the order and what he did really help me so I just wanted him to be noticed for doing a great job thanks Chris

On the downside, the Fried Rice is not quite as good... seasoned a bit different and salty, and lacking onion/peas/carrot, BUT they put a lot of yummy pork in. I tried Wok N Roll for the first time December 2023. There is a good amount of parking, but you may have to walk a bit if they and/or the business next door are busy.
It was fairly quiet when I arrived. I did not pre-order ahead . So I had to wait for it to be prepared. But it didn't take long. Actually, it was fairly quick. So I was out the door in a fair amount of time.
I found the prices to be decent. Prices are subjective and everyone has their own idea. Obviously I would be fine if it cost less. But Ive seen higher. Wok N Roll has plenty of condiments for your needs. They're being located right in front of the counter makes in nice and easy.
The food was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good. I got a chicken dish for my entree. I do question the quality and actual amount of chicken in my dinner. Since I'm sure I will try them again, I might get the same thing just to see. If I find my questioning the amount of chicken in my dinner to be un-founded, I will edit this review to reflect that.
All in all, I found Wok N Roll to be decent. As such, we will probably order from them again in the future.

Ordered 2 meals + 2 soups. Associate refused to give a glass of water, saying we must buy their bottled water if we want anything to drink. I never had a restaurant refuse to provide a glass of water. She said it very curtly almost with a cross tone.

The food was neither great nor worth the wait. This is the type of restaurant where the service is next to non-existent. It was almost like a ghost kitchen where you place the order online or the phone and pick it up. We seated ourselves after grabbing their menus at the counter. This was the first time we have had take out from Great Wall. The food was very good. This is my number two chinese restaurant in Ocala but it could very well become my number one. The portions were big. I love meat wontons and these did not disappoint. More meat than my normal Chinese take out. They use egg roll dough instead of wonton dough. Very good! The dim sum (steam dumplings) were huge! Located in Six Gun Plaza and plenty of parking. They actually have food ready when they say it will be ready. The only thing they did wrong was gave us beef lo mein when we asked for shrimp lo mein. They even repeated it correctly while I was placing the order. They made it right and made a small shrimp lo mein while I waited.
I will absolutely come back here.

At certain times, the place gets really busy, therefore, some mistakes are destined to happen. However, it is important on how you resolve the issue. The food here is priced fairly, tastes good, and most of the time, it is quick.
Last week, as usual, I placed an order online and drove down to pick it up. I didn't check the bag because I never had an issue with my order before. So I go home, open the bag, and discovered one of the items was missing. Before I could call and report it, the owners' kid calls me and tells me they made a mistake and it is up to me if I want a credit or stop back by and pick up the order. I applaud their gesture!
I have bought food at Chinese restaurants most of my life and never had a restaurant call me and admit they made a mistake and gave me options. I truly appreciate their customer service...Especially, in a town where most people are rude, inconsiderate, and lack basic people skills. If you drive a vehicle in Ocala, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Here's another example...Last year, I had placed an order via one of those awful delivery services (GrubHub, Doordash, etc.). The order went through fine and the driver stopped by and picked up the food. Unfortunately, the driver never delivered the food.
So, I called the delivery service and they sent another driver because they could not get in touch with the first driver either. Now, First Wok had already done their part and they did not have to do what they did next. When the 2nd driver arrived and explained the situation, they prepared everything again and handed it to the driver; no questions asked.
Thank you First Work for doing business with speed, honesty, and integrity. You've earned a lifetime customer.

Didn't know you could pick your level of spice so that makes thing way easier because when expect something to be spicy and you have your hopes up. Compared to other Chinese food restaurants in this area I think this is probably the best one. What ever your favorite dish is they probably make it better! Not bad food but not even close to the best chinese food ive had. The staff is friendly and they took my order over the phone and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes, the restaurant was clean inside and had digital boards with the menu displayed. I actually stopped at the UPS store next door and ended up walking in this restaurant because I had a sudden taste for Chinese food. So I'm not sure about other dishes but their Pepper Steak was one of the most flavorful that I've ever tasted, but they only had literally 4 1/2 small strips of beef in it! We have ordered from Shang Hai on multiple occasions now. Although not perfect and personal preferences will differ. We found them to be one of the better if not the best Chinese take out restaurants we’ve tried in the area.
The food portions are decent. The food is very good. The prices are decent. I cannot think of much more that I need. Shang Hai’s food so far has fit the bill for us. So I recommend trying them.

So we were craving Chinese and we were skimming through Ocala and my mom SLAMMED on the breaks once she saw Shanghai Chinese. So I order from this location often because it is close to my home. But after my meal today, I will no longer be eating at this establishment. I ordered the shrimp chow mei fun for the first time after trying it when my roommate ordered it nights prior which was a very big order we spent 145 that night. However when I get my order today, I can tell it was old and reheated by the texture of the noodles and it was clumped together and cold in some areas where it wasn't heated all the way through. The garlic sauce that I usually order on the side with my fried chicken wings was very lumpy. This is the third time they have given me old lumpy garlic sauce. I usually order from her when I don’t want to drive to far to go to the other restaurant near walmart. I regret not going this day, so I ordered a large broccoli w/ white rice, fried dumplings 🥟, and 4 shrimp rolls and that total was 40.92 right. That’s a lot of money, moving along. I get home and the broccoli tasted reheated, now it’s around 5-6 o’clock in the evening. The broccoli as you can see is soaked in OIL and over cooked and soggy. I called the restaurant and the lady there is very sweet, I explained to her about my order and how dissatisfied I was with the broccoli, come on I did spend 40 dollars on nothing and it taste bad. She insisted that the broccoli was ok and that it’s supposed to be in oil because I asked for more brown sauce. Look in my pictures and tell me where is the brown sauce, it’s all OIL. I will not be back to this place at all. The only reason why people go here is because it’s location is convenient, but if I’m going to spend 40 dollars on not so good tasting food I can order McDonald’s. Again the young lady there is very very sweet and always friendly with a smile BUT if you really want good tasting food, take the drive to the one on 200 by Walmart. The food doesn’t taste like oil. Overall I don’t recommend just because of the price and the food.

I’ve been coming here for fresh Chinese food for years and have always enjoyed their combo meals. I do miss the days when you could sample before buying—it made the experience even better.
The food is still good and freshly made, but the service has gone downhill. On my last visit, the associate was rude and aggressive just because I didn’t want rice or noodles with my meal. Good prices for fresh cooked to order take out. They are busy all the time with no issues filling orders, that tells me we are not the only ones that enjoy their food. We still enjoy the food here but they have added two young lady’s to take your order at front counter that are not trained and have no customer service skills, we order and then wait for order. We have to go to counter to ask about our order and then find it’s been ready for quite awhile. Placed a phone order, the male who answered said it’ll be ready in 15 minutes and gave the total amount of $60, mind you I ordered 5 dinner meals. I arrived to pick up 25 minutes later, went inside and the food was in fact not ready for pick up. I had to sit and wait an additional 30 minutes. When the food was ready my total was $70, I told the cashier that I was told the total was $60 over the phone. He proceeded to say rudely “well the total is $70 not $60 like you were told.” Made it home just to find out the rice was hard and overall the food was not tasteful in a good way. I will not return to this establishment and I don’t recommend this place for a Chinese food takeout.

Decided to try this place out with my wife this past week. It was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The place was clean, but is small with two tables to accommodate four people each and bar stools on the other wall. We were greeted upon entry and the cashier was very helpful in understanding the menu. The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were so big, I couldn't finish it all. The food was fresh and very hot. My only concerns, which did not affect their rating, are they did not have fountain drinks, but bottles; however, they didn't overcharge for them. I do recommend they add a couple other selections for those with particular taste, like Dr. Pepper. The second, which may sound weird, was the sheer amount of chicken on the plate, which dwarfed the fried rice, but I will just make a request to alter the portion sizes next time. Otherwise, this place deserves your money, so check it out.

I had the Budah Delight with the tofu. It was good, only complaint was that it had just 7 pieces of tofu in it. Chicken rice was good too. Big surprise was the Jasmine Milk Tea Boba. It was AMAZING!! Husband had the teriyaki chicken which he enjoyed, but also said the portion of chicken seemed a bit small. However the price was decent for smaller portions. I would recommend this place over others!

I should have taken pics of the food but I am in LOVE with the rice! I have had both the pork and chicken fried rice and OMG it's delicious! I also got the chicken teriyaki twice! I like that you get to choose whether your combo comes with an egg roll or two pieces of crab rangoon. I also ordered Korean barbecue wings breaded and unbreaded in two different occasions and I was not impressed. I will try a different flavor. The dumplings are alsp yummy. The young lady up front is the sweetest 💕
