Lots of potential! The not so good: the donuts are much too heavy/thick and slightly dry. The fritter (which I bought 3 of with high hopes) had good flavor on the edges, but was much too “bready” without the usual apples/fruit bits mixed in to give it much needed moisture - especially with gluten free. With some apple pieces it would have been much better. The Boston Creme was in the same “fritter” shape and consistency/dough and was also too thick/bready for a Boston Creme. The chocolate coating had an “dipped” effect and was too thin and flavorless. The Creme wasn’t overly sweet and was a nice texture, but for the size it needed more to compensate for the dryness. Same issues with the lemon and the filled donuts - although the filling added a nice flavor and some moisture. Overall, if the donuts were smaller it might take away some of the density issues that plague gluten free goods.

The food is pricey as you are paying a premium to try many dishes. This is a great place for date night.

It used to be my favorite restaurant outside of Spain but now I can’t patronize this restaurant. We just left and had a mid meal. The service was terrible. The sangria was light, the gambas al ajillo was chewy and barely flavored. The sourdough was super doughy and wet. The croquettas were over cooked and had no Jamon iberico inside of it. The paella was requested to have soccarat but was just unseasoned yellow rice. It had no depth and flavor that a paella should have or that this restaurant used to have. I guess they have a new chef but they do not embody what Spanish food is supposed to be. This used to our favorite spot but now I would have to recommend Barcelona. When we got the food likewise it looked amazing, and it was a lot of food (we later agreed we would have much preferred smaller serving and smaller prices). After this the experience dropped off, it was cool having a tostada and a pupusa, but they didn’t taste that incredible. I compared this to chipotle with my partner after and we agreed that each ingredient at chipotle tastes better than here, and chipotle is less expensive. I enjoyed my time here a lot as I wanted to remind myself of the flavors of the food from my recent trip to Guatemala! And I was not disappointed! The quality of the food is high, so is the cost when you add up all the extras (approx. $18), but it's well worth it (although I could not shake off the feeling I paid a lot, especially knowing this kind of street food costs a few cents in Guatemala). Since there were several of us and you know how moving is….not much unpacked…we looked for the closest pizza place with the highest ratings. We read a few and were sold. We opted for delivery and were amazed at how fast the pizza showed up. We ordered the hell boy squared. The sesame seeds were what sold us tbh. The menu online doesn’t give much options but that seemed to make an easy decision. None of us had ever tried Sicilian style so we gave it a shot! And the hot honey sounded delish so we went for it!! The Hell Boy did not disappoint. The crust was AMAZING, albeit much thicker than any of us prefer, but it was still so good! None of us finished an entire slice as the breading is so filling but SO good!! The lil pepperoni cups are amazing. The hot honey perfection and the crust was divine!! So so good! Staff is professional and friendly. Interior is a bit tight and seems like it would be chilly near the doors on a cold day but luckily we were seated next to the kitchen. We opted for the 3 course tasting menu. All of our dishes arrived in a timely manner. The complimentary bread that comes to the table is awesome. You get 3 different kinds of breads and a nicely seasoned olive oil to dip it in. For the appetizer I got the Gamberetti e Fagioli. Really enjoyed the fresh shrimp along with the beans. The textures and flavors were great. The chef also gave us some kind of tortellini wrapped in spinach complimentary which I thought was excellent. For entree I got Tagliatelle al Limone. I felt that the pasta texture was excellent however the lemon in the sauce was way too strong. It was so sour that it almost made everything taste bitter. I couldn't taste the bottarga with how sour the sauce was. For dessert I got the Biancomangiare and thoroughly enjoyed it. The fresh berries and sauce went so well with the milk pudding. Great way to end the meal. I would definitely come back and try a different entree.

I was hungry they had food and snacks. The doughnut amazing! Didn’t even make it to my car. It was soft, but the poki stick gave it a crunch, the taro flavor was sweet but not overpowering or too sweet. Now these Korean corn dogs…i didn’t hate them. I did eat both. I’m not really an icing person, so I did remove the icing from the glazed and coconut donuts (the icing was good, just too much for me). My favorites were definitely the tropical pineapple that had trix pieces on it, and the coco crisp which had coco pebbles on it I think. The Korean rice dog was delicious; I got half and half, the top half was mozzarella and the bottom was the hotdog. They definitely don’t skimp on the mozzarella, but I would’ve preferred it if the hotdog was cut in half lengthwise, and the mozzarella sandwiched between, then covered in the batter and then cooked; but that’s just me 😊. They do have a rewards program using stamp cards. For the card I have, for every 9 half dozens you buy, you get one half dozen free. I don’t know if they have stamp cards for individual donuts or dozens, but I noticed that they don’t do stamp cards for the Korean rice hotdogs. They do also offer milk tea, hot tea, milk moo, fruit freeze and fruit tea for drinks, but I didn’t try one of those during this visit. The staff was really nice, the facility was clean, and they do have a unisex bathroom available that was working and clean. I will definitely be back again. Glad that there’s a mochi donut place in the area, as I didn’t want to have to go downtown every time I had the craving.
