We decided to visit them for lunch after looking at the incredible ratings they have on Google. The Ambiance is authentic, rustic and simple. The seating is mostly wooden. They have dim lights in one of the indoor sections. We ordered Malabar Parottas, Chicken VaratharaChattu Gravy, Seer Fish Masala Fry and Chicken Biryani. The food is absolutely delicious and comforting. Everything that we ordered tasted great. The freshness of the Parottas to the Spiciness of the Chicken gravy to the flavours of the Seer Fish. The Biryani tasted great. I would recommend having the Seer Fish here. It was fresh and it had imbibed the flavours of the masala. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. Would definitely visit the next time I'm in Wayanad.

Vast choice of food to select from. Washrooms were extra clean and away from dining area. Ample seating arrangements, cradle for babies, decent quality crockery and cutlery, well mannered staff etc. are a few points that I found worth mentioning. Parking facility is available. Located in the heart of Kalpetta town on the Highway this place would be an ideal choice for travellers. Rates are not on a very high side but it's not cheap either. I felt that the portion size could have been a little more for the price a customer pays. Eventually we spoke to the person making toast and were told only a buffet breakfast was available, nothing from the breakfast menu. There was very little left so they agreed to make some fresh toast, pooris and dosa for us. The toast was soggy and barely toasted. The pooris were fine but the bhaji was tasteless. The dosa was edible but cold and covered in black specks which looked like something had burned on the tawa and they hadn't cleaned it off properly. The sambhar was tasty but cold. On the whole the place is badly managed and staff are not attentive. Tables had not been cleared even though when we arrived there were very few customers. The toilets were clean but one was broken. No toilet paper and soap dispensers were empty. Toilet doors were not clean. This used to be a good restaurant but standards over the last couple of years have declined drastically.
