The Manager was the best part of the dining experience. He was friendly and knowledgeable and could offer menu suggestions for my #Gluten Free requirement. He wad also a total gentleman who made me realise Chivalry is not completely dead 😀 He held my coat up for me to put on, which no one has done for me, ever! The Moroccan wine was really nice, I didn't know Morocco produces wine! We all had a Tagine as the main course, and they were all delicious and extremely flavourful and served piping hot. The lamb was so well cooked it was falling off the bone and melting in ky mouth. The Merguez sausage was really flavourful, I'll definitely look out for those! The Filo pastry as a starter was a hit with everyone. The food is very homely, and so is the atmosphere. I'll definitely go back to try the other dishes.

Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the owner is absolutely lovely - very welcoming and a fantastic host! Service as always been great here, rarely had to wait for a table unless it’s peak time without a reservation. Staff are accommodating and always polite and friendly. I would say the menu could definitely have more variety more often. I try to go there less frequently as it doesn’t change that much. For a roast dinner it's good but could be so much better. The chicken skin was slimy the roast potatoes tasted deep fried and came out oily. The gravy tasted like Bisto, no flavour at all. And the bread sauce was disappointing. I would prefer that the gravy was not prepared on my food as it made the Yorkshire pudding soggy. The only sides that tasted exceptional were the pigs in blanket and garlic parm mash and veg. It looks like something you could knock up at home, although you would do a better job yourself. The ribs were okay but nothing special. When the bill arrives, they have added the new dish to the bill but didn’t remove the curry. When we call the waitress somehow she already knows that the curry hasn’t been taken off the bill. Excellent menu, delicious food, expertly served - with a fantastic wine cellar. They really know what they are doing! We ordered some starters, steak Diane and dessert. All decadent and Cooked to perfection. We stayed in a beautifully decorated room with an equally lovely ensuite shower room and the most comfortable bed I've slept in. My wife and daughter had Eton mess with a Windsor twist... this wasn't great, apparently tasted artificially sweet . I had a single scoop of vanilla icecream. They charged the three scoop price only £3.. but it's the principle of it. So we had 3 starters, 3 mains, two sides. And one and a half desserts. All for just over £180... Will we go back. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The wine was almost too good! I drank a little too much. The calamari was delicious, and the other starters at our table went down very well. Chateaubriand to share. It came out perfectly medium rare. The sides were incredible. The apple crumble im always hesitant to order as it’s never normally as good as at home. Again it was just yum. And the cheese portion my partner had was so big she took the rest home. Wonderful food, wonderful and attentive service, we are coming back! Thank you . Service was excellent. Table layout is decent giving plenty space. More Persian than Indian in taste. Unfortunately can't give higher rating for the food as every dish had plenty of sugar in including the naan and Raith ( yogurt). The Bombay Aloo was not authentic and lacked taste due to the huge chunks of potatoes rather than smaller grilled pieces. The Daal also lacked taste. The tandoori chicken also contained a thick coating of sugar. Wouldn't recommend simply due to the level of sugar in all dishes that would certainly effect anyone on a reasonable health conscious diet, diabetes or anyone who doesn't like sugar in savoury.

The grill food was fresh but not upto standard. The owner is charging nearly £20 for a mixed grill for 1 piece chicken, 1 kebab stick, 1 little pawn fish and 4 small chicken pieces. Most Indian restaurants charge £20-£25 for the same but with 2x chicken legs, 2 x kebab sticks, 4x chicken pieces, 4 x fish pieces, 2 xlamb chops. Never have I ever, ever seen such sloppiness. In fact I've never had to complain so loudly. Where to start... My daughter and I both had a fillet steak cooked medium. When they arrived they were both rare and my daughter asked for hers to be cooked more. When it was returned it was virtually the same. I didn’t return mine and managed to eat most of it but not all. My wife had the halibut and she was very happy. We also had desserts and ordered the sweet shop which was a bag of different chocolates, also disappointing as they all had no real flavour. My dessert was a Bakewell tart with near to burnt pastry. My wife also mentioned it was my birthday when she booked it and in the past there was always a token gesture of truffles or something similar to end the meal with a birthday message but not even a mention this time. Roast potatoes and parsnips were also pretty anaemic, needed more roasting. The pub has that classic British charm, it’s clean, cozy, and the staff are really friendly and welcoming which made us feel comfortable right away. We tried the fish and chips and wow it was really something. The fish was golden and crispy on the outside but soft and flaky inside, you could tell it was super fresh. The chips were thick, crispy, and lightly salted just how they should be. The tartar sauce and a squeeze of lemon went perfectly with everything. It was so tasty that I completely forgot to take any photos before digging in which is kind of funny in hindsight. Everything tasted just right without being greasy or heavy. If you happen to be nearby and want some real British comfort food I would definitely recommend The Duchess of Cambridge Pub. We had two roast beef and a gnocchi, with a chicken liver parfait to start and sticky toffee pudding with a caramelised banana. We were first in on what I'm sire was a very busy service. Tapas and entrees available. Our party of five thoroughly enjoyed both. Fantastic monkfish, Liver pate, Tiger shrimp, and goat cheese. Don’t get the cob corn. Chicken Kiev was incredible!! Artichoke seemed small for price. Salads were tasty but not big enough and oddly mediocre. Presentation was nice. Prices were reasonable for the food overall. As i am a big fan of smokehouses I've been everywhere to try different smokehouses all over the world, and this is most probably one of the worst I've had so far. We came in as an impromptu meal after completing the inflatable running event down the road! I didn’t catch the name at the door but we were seated with no problem and we are incredibly thankful for the staff for being able to accommodate us! The service we received was top-notch!! Our server was Celeste (I am so sorry if I have gotten that wrong) they were very attentive, quick and super service! Made sure we were happy with everything and kept us well informed of things! But this was the easiest one to meet at as we were all coming from different directions. Service was great at our table. I did see people waiting a longgg time at the bar to be served as no one was there. The food tasted bland. I felt like I had to keep putting salt on it. It was cooked. I had fish n chips w mushy peas. My friend had salmon , she said it was bland and the garlic bread starter was basically pitta bread with bland garlic butter 👀. Salad bar was ok. Dessert was ok. Although my friends Rocky horror came out half melted. I felt the cake in the rocky horror didn't taste that great. Other friend said the lemon meringue sundae was delicious 😋. I wouldn't be encouraging anyone to go here if it can be avoided.

My meal was incorrect, and was actually somebody else’s order. When my food finally arrived at the table, I was extremely disappointed. My sweet potato fries look that they had been sat on the side for 40 minutes, they looked burnt but cold. The gravy had solidified and looked more like caramel, it was so solidified that it wouldn’t actually come out of the cup when I tried to pour it. The chicken was extremely dry all over, and there was blood all around the bone joints. One of my friends had ordered a rare steak, but when it arrived, it was extremely tough. We ordered the sage and onion fries and will give a normal fries and then a pot of seasoning to put on ourselves. This was an extremely disappointing visit to somewhere we go rather often. The manager didn’t seem to bothered about our concerns, we shall not be going there again

We returned in March and breakfast had improved which we were glad to see as we were already booked for Summer. On return in July they have really upped their game with an extended menu including the usual full breakfast and now things like shakshuka and a fruit smoothie bowl bar. Service and efficiency has also improved which makes for a much better experience. We have not dined here for dinner so cannot comment on the rest but breakfast is now a much better experience than it was and is a good start before a busy day at the theme park and a great opportunity to fill up as the food options in the park are terrible.

I wouldnt mind if the food was decent. Yes it looks like thet have a lot of variety, a lot was incredibly spicy or very liquidy. Have given 2 stars because the staff are friendly enough but when we commented on prices, we were told that they are Legoland prices. They have a captive audience so get away with it.

After a terrible dinner at the castle I wasn't expecting much, especially for "free" . We arrived at 9:45, our reservation was for 10am! It was no issue. The server walked us to our seats and explained the set up (breads, all you can eat smoothy bowl, teas coffees oj) She came back not too long later to take our order which took about 10 minutes to come. I was a little disappointed that the "chocolate cheesecake" was just chocolate shavings onto of vanilla cheesecake mix. And the coffee was weak. But those are my only complaints! I wish I could have ordered more!
