While a smaller/limited menu, I give the restaurant major props - tip is included in the final bill because they provide their staff healthcare, etc. KUDOS to Lovina ownership. Upon getting the bill, we were floored to see that the ice latte I received was ELEVEN DOLLARS (this is not Starbucks, folks). For being a brunch spot, you would think they would have a better handle on this, but this certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. We stayed at Indian Springs and this was really close by, possibly walking distance but we drove and parking was really easy, there was street parking. We had an 830pm reservation on a Monday and were probably one of the last larger parties there. We opted to sit outside and we enjoyed their late night rnb playlist. This is a tip free restaurant and all of the prices go into the price of the entree, we went family style. I got an espresso martini that was delicious! We started off with the model bakery bread and pistachio butter, polenta bites, whipped burrata and heirloom tomatoes, and their locally little gem salad which were are really good! We shared the heritage pork and beef bolognese and got the French onion potato gratin and broccolini as sides. It was a lot for all 4 of us and we were super full by the end. Craig was our server & he was amazing. We really enjoyed driving through the small town of Calistoga & calling in for a drink & some lunch. The location is wonderful. What we really enjoyed was the outside seating on this beautiful day. The grounds are so unique. I took a stroll inside. It was so nice outside there were no patrons really inside which was just fine. On a day like the day we visited one would be remiss not enjoying a lunch outside. We got the pizza instead for more calories for the price. We’ve had fig prosciutto pizza several places in the past and love it but it was pretty flavorless here with not very generous toppings/sauce/cheese. They didn’t have any balsamic glaze to help add flavor/sauce. Overall I think a child could probably make the pizza we had, it was very simple and plain. I think expensive restaurants should be able to make quality food that is challenging to make at home. The Brussels sprouts also were underwhelming compared to many other places I’ve ordered them. Not all sides were charred/crispy and they didn’t taste very flavorful either. Would not recommend dining here, perhaps stop for drinks for the atmosphere then eat elsewhere.

We are local and have eaten here at least 4 times and it is consistently disappointing. I am Japanese and born and raised in the San Francisco area where we have access to great Sushi restaurants. Good sushi starts with good rice. The sushi rice was much firmer than customary. A little nervous we decided to just do it unsure of how kid friendly it would be. Well Four Seasons Napa you exceeded our expectations! Not only is this property gorgeous, the staff, the food (homemade hot sauce that’s out of this world at TRUSS), the service top notch but they go above an beyond for kids! Greeted with a stuffed animal we then find our room set up with a crib, baby towel (so cute with the logo I need one of these for home), diaper genie and baby soap kit. They have a huge kid pool, a complimentary kids club for 5 years old and up and even a baby attachment for the complimentary bikes! But to top it off I spilled ice cream on my new expensive baby carrier. When I called to ask for stain spray they didn’t have any so they came to our door an dry cleaned the carrier complimentary. Thank you all for doing an amazing job. Shout out to Weston at the Valet and Amanda at the Spa for going the extra mile.

The location is absolutely stunning — it’s surrounded by beautiful hills and has its own vineyard right in front of your terrace or balcony. We loved our room, and the pools were amazing. But unfortunately, the restaurant was a huge disappointment. We had dinner there, and I was honestly surprised that a Four Seasons could have such a poor-quality restaurant. The kids’ hamburgers were burnt to the ground and looked worse than at McDonald’s — though they cost four or five times more, of course. The kids didn’t even touch them. I ordered the chicken as my main dish, but it was way too spicy to eat, and my husband ended up sharing his filet mignon with the kids because it was the only good dish at the table. When I mentioned this to our waiter, he simply said he was sorry — and that was it. We still paid full price and left the gratuity, though I’m not sure why. Overall, the hotel itself is wonderful, but the restaurant was terrible, which was really surprising — usually, the food at Four Seasons is excellent. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. We are in the Four Seasons now, traveling with our family in one of four rooms. The rooms cost well over $1200 a night. We are one of the unlucky guests to be stuck in a room without AC. I write this at 4 AM unable to sleep due to a hot, stuffy room. Just like other guests, their only solution was to bring fans. After spending a full day of travel yesterday, all I wanted was a good night's rest. Opening windows is not an option for me as I have severe seasonal allergies. It is hot, stale and musty in this room with no air circulation. It has been one thing after another in the 12 hours since we arrived. Our toilet was broken when we arrived. The lighting in our room is so bad that even with every single light turned on I had to use my phone's flashlight to unpack my clothes. I have stayed at better places for a 1/4 of the cost. Save your money. Stay somewhere else.
