A place with this name in Canada, where booze never stopped flowing seems a contradiction. We finally were able to get there last night and wow! Such an unassuming restaurant from the outside, however, from the moment we went inside, from being greeted right through the entire dinner experience - it was all top notch. I failed to take pictures , however every meal was delicious and came hot ! We were a party of four and nobody had any complaints about any of the food. Wonderful extra touch for “Anthony” the chef to bring our dinners and take the time to follow up . Outstanding service and really wonderful food . The restaurant itself is somewhat dated in places, however the atmosphere/mood more than made up for it . We will definitely be back to enjoy.

The staff are great and seemed to be genuinely happy, the food was excellent and full of flavor, and the atmosphere was good with some legit music playing not-to-loud in the background. Even the other diners were a cut above other places and were talking to each other instead of staring at phones. Reasonable prices too. It looks much nicer on the inside than the outside which fits the name. No chain-restaurant feel at all. Came to around 65$. Great pie. Well put together. Brick oven fired, Sauce to cheese ratio is on point. Nice thin dough, slice was a little floppy, not alot of crisp. Which is crucial to nailing a 10/10 on a brick oven pizza. But is have to emphasize it was very close! Everyone loved it. The ingredients are fresh and definitely higher quality than your traditional pizza joint. The dough was light and the cheese wasn't super greasy. All around great quality. You can tell these folks love making pizza. Definitely one of, if not the best pizza in Brantford. Makes it into my top 10 pizza places in Ontario. Next time I'm asking for my pizza to be a fired a little longer. I'm not afraid of a little char! I'm pretty sure that will easily bring this review upto a 5 star. I also have to mentioned that the customer service was excellent. Great phone candor, very polite and personable. Next time you're craving pizza don't hesitate to try this place out.

Both awesome. On our first night (Friday, October 17th) we had an awesome server who we can’t remember his name but he worked bar on the following Sunday night when we went. He had short dark hair and was so friendly and professional and non judgmental. Give this dude a raise cuz he’s lit. Anyway he was awesome bc he really wanted to help us find something that was vegan/was able to be made on a menu that is not vegan accommodating. We got the plain bread, garden salad with no cheese or croutons, and the Spaghetti Primavera with without the goat cheese and an added note to make sure it’s vegan. The dude was awesome and didn’t make us feel overly picky like you often do trying to find vegan accommodations.

His lamb was grnished with a tiny piece of potato, 1 piece of carrot, and another piece of veg. Both were appetizer sized. In all, our meal came to $150 with tip. The food was mid, expensive, we were left wanting - just not more of Gran Sasso! When we were finished, the waiter presented the bill and within a few minutes, returned with the machine even though we had not indicated we were ready to pay. Typically, a card laying on top of the bill indicates that..... but our waiter was there uncomfortably promptly. Been coming here for years, since around when they opened. At one point, weekly on account of working in the area (and it being my favourite spot) It's a casual vibe. Quick-serve cafeteria style ordering/serving. Laid back atmosphere. Nothing fancy... it's all about the delicious high quality food. The pizza is phenomenal, the best I've had and that is including some great pizza in NYC. It's NOT the typical cheap commodity cardboard pizza available on every other corner. Price is reasonable for the quality ingredients and masterful preparation. The pastas, meatballs and sandwiches are quite good too. They have some authentic Portuguese items like the CR7 Bifana pork sandwich and custard tarts (pastas de Nata) The owner Tom, is a great dude and all of his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you just want good Italian/Portuguese food order catering/takeout, or stop in for a quick delicious meal. I don't work in the area anymore... But now I'll go out of my way to get this pizza to share with friends and family for special occasions.

The pizza was alright, the homestyle hot peppers are always delicious. This was my first time ordering ground beef from them and the amount was so small and sparse I thought they had forgotten to put it on. Called the store to just let them know for the future and was told the ground beef is very small and fine and in the future I should order extra/another handful of ground beef. Managed to pick the pizza apart and find some little ground beef bits while on hold. In the future you should mute or hold your calls because I heard the entire conversation where the lady who answered went to somebody else and said I told them we didn't get meat, he said "We probably did put it on." and then some back and forth about me calling (I won't type it all out, standard stuff about customers complaining) before she came back and said "I'm actually the one who made your pizza and I did put ground beef on it, it's just really fine and small. If you want more you should ask for another handful next time." I wasn't asking for anything and even stated that in the conversation, just calling to let them know because I genuinely thought they forgot to put it on with how small it was. But the attitude and the skimpy portion has kind of turned me off of the place for a while. On a side note, the wings were actually really tasty.
