The pizza was flavorful and had the perfect crisp, as we prefer our pizza to be crispy. The service was excellent from the moment we entered the place. The atmosphere is definitely lunch/deli with seating in a wide open area, but, surprisingly no matter the crowd size, noise does not become an issue. You cannot go wrong with any food selection and don't miss grabbing a dessert or 6 on your way out. My favorite is both Tiramisus. traditional and almond. We went around 4pm so wasn't busy but food was cooked to order and was hot whsn arrived at table. On Thursday evening they have polish dinner. It was good except for the Sausage had no casing on it so felt like mush when bit into it. The decore was beautiful with many pictures to look at and had a few TV's on around the area. Polish dinner was priced well for what you get. Waitress kept coming back to check on us but when left the bill to pay she put two fountain drinks when we only had one and one water. The gentleman that helped us to our table clearly enjoyed his job and our waitress was really kind. The food was definitely worth the very short wait. Came in with my girlfriend for a birthday dinner. Was warmly greeted and sat down in what looked like a carving of italian scenery. Which was cool. We ordered fried calamari and bruschetta for appetizers. Never in my life have I seen, nor is it italian, to have diced jalapeños or pickles on the calamari. Strange but okay. Lastly the bruschetta was good and loaded with tomatoes. Lastly I ordered the Carbanara and my girlfriend ordered Vodka Gnocchi with meatballs. The carbanara was Not Good but its acceptable as its Indiana but I appreciate the effort but it was missing the egg base and resembled more if an Alfredo. My girlfriends gnocchi was better reheated but was good in the moment with the sauce. Nothing special but felt gummy and suspect packaging and not homemade. Now I would return however I wouldn't get the same thing nor would I reccomend any of what I got. Its ambience and service was wonderful but the food just did not hold up the other end of the noodle. 4/10. Would reccomend to visit but just get something hard to mess up. Oh and it was pricy. For not great italian food. Tasted a lot like chef boyardi at times. The desert was the best part and that was pre-made.

Since we stayed at the Courtyard about 1 block away we ordered a few pizzas since we had a pretty decent sized party and the restaurant looked quite small. Figured 1 block away it wouldn't take long, however we were wrong on that. This place is either super busy on a Saturday night, or super slow. I'd say they are quite busy on Saturdays. Once the pizza finally arrived I couldn't wait to try one of each we had ordered. The cheese pizza was somewhat greasy from the cheese. Pizza was exceptionally sweet. If you like sweet pizza sauce this is your place. Sweetest I've ever had. Pizza Undercarriage was done well however there wasn't any snap or crisp to it at all. Now on to the stuffed pizza. Same sweetness from the cheese pizza. Again, has to be that sauce which is a dark red sauce, good tomato flavor, just very sweet. Cheese was again slightly greasy. This stuffed pizza also has no real snap, just a chewiness. One slice of this stuffed pizza and you are filled up. Very, very filling. I actually preferred the stuffed pizza to the regular cheese pizza. All in all, pretty slow to get the food 1 block away, very sweet sauce, definitely distinguishable. While I am not a big fan of sweet sauce, I had to rate accordingly.

During a recent trip to the area for business, I found myself in a quandary. Many of the Restaurants that my lunch crew and myself like to visit were closed on Mondays. We went all the way from New Carlyle to the airport looking for a place to eat. One of the people in my group suggested Volcano, an Italian-Style eatery close to the airport. Off we went and luckily it was open. When I arrived, I went back in time a few decades, as this place has that older feel to it. Simplistically decorated but fully functional. We were fortunate enough to catch the tail end of lunch and were able to get seated right away. Once I perused the menu, our server suggested the Italian Beef sandwich with fries. I also got a side of gravy. Since we didn't have a whole lot of time I was on point as the sandwich and the other items arrived fairly quickly. The Beef was tender and juicy, the bread fresh and all that gooey cheese made a very pleasant lunch. Give Volcano a shot, I will go back for dinner when I'm in the area again to try some other items, as it is known as a local favourite.
