I was more than satisfied with everything during my visit to this restaurant. We came for dinner Friday night looking for a good pizza. The restaurant has this very cozy, family friendly vibe. Once we arrived we were able to seat where we wanted as there were plenty tables available. One of the waitresses started us off with drinks right away and then another one came a couple of minutes later to get us started with appetizers. We started ordering the mozzarella sticks and a 12” Pungo supreme for both of us. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, I ended up adding a bit of salt to them because I like my food a bit more salty, but besides that they filled my expectations. The timing was perfect, one I took the last bite of my last mozzarella stick, the pizza arrived. I ordered an extra serving of garlic butter that paired perfectly with the borders. The pizza overall was amazing as well, it held pretty good, and had a great balance with a bit of crunchy exterior but a pretty soft and doughy inside texture. The sauce, the cheese, each ingredient paired perfectly… my only regret would have been eating my slices too slowly because I ended up having my last slice colder than I would have liked, but even then, the dough still tasted pretty good. We finished off ordering the homemade coconut cream pie and the m&m cheescake topped off with a scoop of ice cream. To be honest, it was a bit too much for us so we ended up asking for a to-go box. The pie was soft, not too sweet and pretty light, as to the cheesecake it was pretty dense and heavier than what I expected but it still tasted really good. If you do like a rich cheesecake, you’ll for sure like this one. I would totally recommend coming to eat here anytime. We will for sure come again and try some other dishes.

The rigatoni bolognese is a good portion and even though I prefer marinara sauce vs meat sauce, it was very good. The meals me and my wife had were decent but left for more to desire. The appetisers were awesome and priced fairly, I cannot lie I had some expectations with the main course and really looked forward to having something familiar in a sense to what I had experienced in Spain. Me and my wife had the same course, it was the Rossoto Con Scampi. The course was presented well and in more than a reasonable time. The meal in its entirely wasn't at an adequate temperature for me or my wife, it was warm and decreasing in temperature. My wife wasn't a fan of the shrimp in particular. The taste of the food was decent but the temperature and texture of the dish left more to be desired. To be honest its not fair to compare the taste and preparation of 2 different meals but we have should of went with our first gut instinct. I will give the restaurant another chance, the food we saw being served to other patrons did look appetising 😋 I recommend this restaurant for casual dining, they also offer take out and have a open bar. We were glad we ordered the smaller size veal, which came with three large pieces and a side of angel hair pasta. The veal look deep fried, a little dark and no cheese on it. The pasta was great. When we asked our server about the missing cheese she said they may be out of mozzarella. The margherita pizza was a little different as well. It had no sauce on it but was lots of mozzarella cheese (they may have used it all up on the pizza) and plenty of tomato slices, no basil. The crust was different as well. The cheese was also splotty and did not cover the slices and was randomly placed in 3 maybe 4 sections of the pizza. No one was happy with the food, especially the children, as this is one of their favorite spots too! We finally got our drinks after the food came out too. Needless to say the only thing I like on their menu that they haven't managed to screw up are their wings. It's unfortunate to say that we will no longer be coming back to this location after giving them multiple tries. The location on Providence road has proven to be much better!

I really wanted to love this place. The reviews led me to believe we were in for better. The best part about our meal was the bread and butter and the tiramisu. I will preface this review by saying we spent 3 years in Italy and know good Italian food and that isn't what we had here. The olive oil and herbs that were an upcharge tasted so plainly that my husband commented "this isn't good evoo". His gnocchi had so much cheese it seemed as though it was more cheese with a side of gnocchi. I believe my penne primavera would have been better had the garlic olive oil been a better quality. They have a great NYC style pie and a wonderful staff. Last night I called right before closing and they answered the phone like it was the start of the day, with a smile! The first night they ran out of pizza dough and we understood and was ok with that because at least they were doing business so we said thank you and we will try again another time. We get there to pick it up and we’re told that they don’t have an order for us. They said we didn’t call their store but found our number on their caller ID. The crust was tough and chewy. I’m no connoisseur and maybe it’s supposed to be like that but it definitely wasn’t my preference. It’s sad because the toppings were generous and good- but with tough dough it kinda ruins the whole thing. I’ll probably try one more time while I’m in the area.
