Our waiter was friendly, made great recommendations and was happy to help us navigate allergies and questions about the menu. For appetizers we shared the calamari and the white truffle garlic bread. Both were delicous and the calamari came with the house giardiniera which was a perfect acidic break from the fried calamari and the rich truffle bread. My husband and I split a ceasar salad, which had a beautiful fresh dressing and I really enjoyed their croutons. For my main I got the trottole chicken pesto. Their pesto is one of the best I have ever had and the little toasted pine nuts on top just added nice flavor and texture. I also enjoyed the pomegranate mule subbing tequila for the gin.

They also have an incredible, fully covered outdoor seating area that is elevated over the waterway. We ordered a Margarita Pizza with the pesto drizzle and “Bomba” (I may have that wrong but it’s AMAZING!!!!) style ($5 charge and worth every penny). The pizza was some of the best I’ve had in a veryyyyyy long time. The crust was so crisp, flaky & chewy! It’s cooked in a brick oven in a glassed in kitchen. I love being able to see the cooking and prep process! We also got the Stromboli, and it came with a beautiful, fresh side salad with healthy mixed greens and tossed in a vinaigrette, as well as a side of the most amazing, zesty tomato sauce. The fried mozzarella tasted like a combination of oil and water not cheese. The meals took forever to come out and again I’m going to say there were maybe a handful of tables with patrons. By the time the meals finally came out our expectations were so low and Macaroni Grill did not disappoint, food lacked flavor and honestly we were over it and just wanted to rush through it so we could get the check and leave dinner purgatory. On Monday 10/13/2025 between 5 pm and again around 630pm I was sent to this location to pick up deliveries for customers. I'm sure someone somewhere was paid big bucks to come up with these "rules" so that the dining in experience and the pick up of "to-go" orders would both be seamless and as pleasant as possible. Just pointing out the discrepancies in the instructions. So I called the # on the sign. Whoever answered the phone couldn't hear me. But they sounded exasperated already. When the young lady working the to-go area returned one could tell she was not having a good day. I recently move to the US, from Portugal, so it has been very difficult the find restaurants with proper delicious food (if you know Portuguese cuisine you will understand this review). Zanti is the first restaurant I go in the US with amazing food and service! Our server was Filipe - super attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu and wines! The wait staff was fantastic. Clearly all servers who have been at this for a while, you can tell when someone is a veteran server because they anticipate the needs of the patrons and this was clear. Food was good, but that is the best compliment I could give. There was nothing in the 10 - 12 appetizers and entrees we got that was spectacular or that anyone felt they needed to return to eat again. That said, we were happy with everything we received. Note - there is a very good children's menu, I've attached a picture because I didn't see it noted on their website. Meal timing, we ordered appetizers and entrees. For some bizarre reason our entrees hit the table before the appetizers. They asked if we wanted to have the entrees brought back and work on the appetizers, but of course not, we don't want our entrees to sit under a heat lamp or a low oven while we work on the apps so we had everything at the same time. Staff did try to make it right with a dessert, which is nice, but not really a solution. Overall I'd say a 4 of 5 experience. We would return but likely because it is very convenient rather than the best we've had. I'm hopeful the next visit yields a more positive experience - if it does, I'll happily update my review as usual.

Still awesome and the curb side pickup is convenient! Sadly the Sicilian pie was no longer available. ============ We've been here twice in the last 2 weeks. Everything we've ordered has been great; antipasto salad, Sicilian pie, plain cheese Pies, eggplant parm hero. My family is from NYC, and while this doesn't make us experts on pizza the way everyonr from NYC claims. It does mean we are familiar with a NYC style pie. This pizza holds up quite well. Sauce is great, crust is crisp and most important (for me) the bottom is browned and the pizza holds together when lifted. I'd also note, the pizza is the right thickness, most places are too thick, some places are thin like flatbread - this is that goldilocks thickness you're looking for. The Sicilian is also quite good, again benefitting from the excellent sauce used for the pizza. It is, however, a bit dense for my liking. Some Sicilian Pies can be quite light as the dough has more time to sit and rise - I prefer the lighter airier Sicilian, but I would still order another Sicilian here despite that. Take out was quick and easy. Great pizza, keep it up.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming. This continues to be our first choice for special nights out anywhere near the Woodlands or Conroe.
