She ordered their ribeye. The salmon came out and after one bite of me eating it, I cut it open to see that it was clearly raw. It is not the best ever, but we were quite happy with almost everything we ordered. The place is really pretty and the prices are fair. We just loved the service. We were seated straight away. My appetizer was actually the best (Portobello Mushroom with the Pesto sauce) The bread comes with this spicy type of butter that I've never had and was really good. My Aunt asked our server if Spaghetti with Artichokes could be taken off our bill. The server asked her manager and it was taken off our bill. The food was subpar and falsely advertised as “Fresh”! The Atmosphere was nice and clean. The Lobster Ravioli was advertised as Fresh. Both meals were completely flat and not seasoned correctly. The charges for both meals should have been removed or they should have offered another meal for a new visit and a make up for the horrible meals they served. I will never go back based on 2 things, mis-advertisement and the fact they charged me for meals that were absolutely horrible. To say I’m disappointed with the quality of the food would be an understatement. My recommendation is pass on the food. I will say the Bar seemed to be very popular. Breadsticks weren’t all that good but the pizza dough needs work; not supposed to be so thick and greasy. Crab cakes, same verdict; very soggy and greasy; remoulade sauce was bland. Guacamole was ok, the saganaki appetizer is not worth $20 (!!!) by no stretch of the imagination (even Kokkari in SF charges about half that!). About the only menu item that is vegetarian/vegan adjacent is the grilled vegetables pasta. Just make sure you tell them not to douse the sauce in butter and cream. It was ok as far as aromatics and flavor. Rice pudding was simply bad. Rice is NOT supposed to be Al-dente and it’s very easy to find a great traditional Greek recipe for this online. In fact if anyone from the restaurant sees this please message me; I’ll share an old school recipe from my in laws. It’s a good place ambiance wise and our server was polite. Hopefully they rework some of the recipes bc they need to stand out above the other Italian restaurants in the area in order to make it.
