When we picked up the food and got it home, the burger was slathered with melted cheese and grilled onions/peppers. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with Ella and request requested either credit or a replacement dish. She spoke with the manager/owner, Zee who said that they could make another burger and we could come and pick it up in 20 minutes, but we would be charged the full amount even though it was their fault. I said that's not acceptable and I would be happy to return the food and they could credit me or replace it, but she said no. I told her that I would dispute the charge with AMEX and she said go right ahead. AMEX will handle this now. This is not the customer service you expect when you're paying with your heart earned cash. Wonder what they would have done if we were actually eating there and they brought the wrong food to our table? Stay away from this restaurant if you value your money and respect your dignity. Obviously, we will not be returning and will warn our friends. Update: Just wanted to give a quick update regarding my post. Zee, the owner/manager of the restaurant, called me today as he read my post online. He apologized profusely for the miscommunication and confusion regarding our order and wanted to make it right. He offered me a full credit for the meal. I swung by the restaurant today to meet with him personally and he was again apologetic. He issued me a gift card above and beyond the value of our entire meal. I encouraged him to read the reviews posted and address them for the benefit of his restaurant, customers, and staff. If this restaurant was near shoppers world or the mall it would have been packed during my 12 noon Thursday visit. Just a few tables of customers. Upon arrival we were greeted fast and sat down pretty quickly. The waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable re: questions that I had. The food here is cooked like they care, which is rare to find. I got lunch portion baked scallops with my choice sides,cole slaw and butternut squash. We were given ice water and a nice basket of fresh bread and butter while we waited for the food. The atmosphere was pleasant with some low not blasting country songs on and the air quality was cool and clean. The decor was pleasant. The baked scallops were delicious and a good amount for a lunch portion . The butternut squash tasted like hints of nutmeg cinnamon, reminded me of Thanksgiving, absolutely delicious and the coleslaw was fresh and delicious, not that horrible pre-made chemical tasting mush that so many restaurants serve. I will definitely be coming here on a regular basis from now on. It does not disappoint!

I don’t usually crave sandwiches when going out for dinner but finally went and will be coming back. I got larges and they were huge. You could easily share 1 with maybe a side. Both of my hot subs were actually hot and freshly made. The Godfather had tons of moist and crispy chicken cutlets that were freshly cooked. The red peppers went really well with it. I got the 25c balsamic glaze add-on and it was a good choice. It added a little more moisture/dressing. Without the glaze it maybe would have been lacking a little in sauce. Eggplant parm sub might not look pretty but delicious nonetheless. Lots of eggplant and provolone and the marinara was good quality. Don’t let this one sit too long as it can get soggy with all the marinara though. Wouldn’t be good for leftovers. Me and my wife split the large eggplant and half of the Godfather and saved half of the Godfather for later because we couldn’t finish it. Cannoli was also great (they have plain & chocolate chip). They fill them to order which is very important to me, because I have been let down too many times with cannolis sitting out and the shell no longer crunchy. I got a plain and it wasn’t too sweet which I prefer. There is seating inside for about 20 people. I took mine to go and ate in the park.

We came in after a long day of traveling, and were immediately welcomed in. Within 15 minutes, we were served delicious food. The garlic bread was tasty, buttery, and extremely cheesy. When we asked for soup spoons, the waitress told us that all of the soup spoons were dirty because no one had done the dishes. My friend got a starter order of the meatballs. She said they were OK. But more garnish. A wilted bunch of something or other sitting on the side of the meatballs, which were absolutely drowned in red sauce. I got a side starter of shrimp. They were okay; well cooked. But very small. You would think that an order like that would be at least a large shrimp and not small ones. Again with the garnish. A big blob of parsley. Lots of their bread which did not have very much flavor. And the sauce the shrimp was in was separating into an oily mess. So sad for a good restaurant to go so bad.

We’ve been coming to Pizza by Rocco for years and it never disappoints. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside with that ideal chewy interior, and they don’t skimp on high-quality toppings. The sauce has a great balance of sweet and tangy, and the cheese pull is legitimately addictive. The staff is always friendly, the place is spotless. But Nick’s is close by and definitely local so I wanted to give it a try before counting it out, and I’m glad I did. I saw that many of the low-star reviews involved ordering through a 3rd-party app so I went the old fashioned way and called the shop after looking at their menu online. I was asked to hold briefly then my order was taken: large steak bomb pizza and small side of hot wings. I was told 20 minutes and my order was waiting when I rolled in. The shop is small and a bit dingy, but that had no impact on the meal. The pizza is delicious (I’m eating a second slice while I type). Good topping coverage but not so heavy that it flops down mid-bite. The crust isn’t too thick or too thin, well done but not burnt. The wings are nice and spicy, cooked well but not overdone and sufficiently saucy. The price was not bad, for New England, and they have a few other pies I want to try. I’ll definitely be ordering at Nick’s Pizza House again.
