I had high expectations from everything people had said for years and how hard it was to get a reservation on short notice. I was disappointed that mac and cheese was a side in an upper scale menu, just took the class level down a notch for me. We started with the burrata and I loved that it wasnt served with bread but that you use the meat to wrap it and eat it, delicious. The lamb was amazing! My son ordered a mocktail before ordering food and we didn't get it until half way through dinner, seems like the staff forgot about it or there wasn't anyone to run it. I also mentioned we were celebrating my son's birthday and even when ordering dessert there wasn't anything done, no candle or happy birthday, and when we were finishing up and I payed the bill, they were singing to another table with a candle. 😒 The lighting was too bright to make it feel cozy, it felt more like an upscale family diner than a romantic Italian restaurant to me. Our server was wonderful personality wise. I'm usually not this critical of a place, but felt really disappointed that there's so much hype and it didn't live up to the kind of place I was expecting. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't impressive either, not really worth it if you ask me. Service was friendly but couldn't tell us how much the specials would cost which never has happened in any restaurant, that's basic information really. The tables are also really close together which in itself is not a huge issue but the acoustics are really bad which makes it hard to hear each other talk. Reservations for 5pm and we’re seated immediately. It was a beautiful evening so we chose the patio. Music was light and atmosphere was inviting. Staff was polite and attentive. We tried, the suggested, Mentone AL tomato salad to start. Served with thick, ripe red and yellow tomatoes along with some dressing and corn. It was light and savory. Had us wanting more. Excellent choice. For dinner we chose the pepperoni and filetto pizzas. They serve a classic Neapolitan style wood fired pizza. Pizza was a good personal size. Crisp crust with nice leopard spotting. Chewy inside with good gluten development. Middle was a little soggy, but typical for Neapolitan style. Toppings were fresh and flavorful. Chocolate Budino was light and fluffy with a hint of salt. The roasted hazelnuts gave it a nice crunch. The house made whipped creme was firm and smooth. Excellent meal! No complaints. Highly recommend.

Not fishy at all, crispy skin, very flavorful risotto, just the perfect combination of flavors. Hats off to the chef, I will dream about this dish. My brother got the chicken piccata and it was everything you would expect and more. A playful take on a comforting favorite. The gnocchi, chicken, and lemon butter sauce all had very different flavors but complimented each other in an elegant and savory way. You won’t be disappointed if you decide to make this dish a winter staple. Lastly but most certainly not least was dessert. I don’t know the names but my brother got a strawberry dish and I got a donut dish. Both were divine and different from anything else we have had. I feel like if we had done a normal pepperoni pizza we would have been much happier overall. Their sauce however is really really good! I’m from up north and it wasn’t anywhere near as good as the pizza you can get up there 😭 but pending how the normal pizzas are I’d say it’s as close as you can get without going to Krogg Street Market in ATL. We will go back and try a normal pizza and I’ll update the review.

You get a salad, 2 garlic rolls and a drink for $12.99. However, I was very disappointed in my meal. First the Trio was very bland and the noodles were overly cooked. Now, they use to not be this way. Because the first time I ordered, it was so good that I called in to the manager and told him so and they went up on the price. My salad had one tiny grape tomato and 4 little strands of carrots. I ask for onions in both and they did. Thank you! But I had more lettuce then anything. My Diet Coke was flat too. No fiss. However, my food was not seasoned at all especially the meat. The corn nuggets were good but they are way to small for $5.99 for 12. If anything it should be $3.99 for that size. I don’t know why the quality of food has changed so much even before the crisis happened it wasn’t good, I decided I would try one more time. However, I receive the same results. Food should not just be fresh, hot, but seasoned, and served with the up most care! I can’t believe how much they have changed! The Trio might look good but you will be disappointed but if you like bland you’ll be fine. Sine I can’t put another rating. I will add it to this one. This comment is on the Child’s Alfredo Fettuccine Chicken plate that comes with a breadstick and drink. I was so disappointed with this meal. If you look closely you’ll see a very small portion of noodles, a little sauce. However, they did give a nice amount of chicken. The breads sticks are usually soft, long, full and mouth watering good. But, this one was short and HARD AS A BRICK. (Went straight into the Trash). I couldn’t believe it! How could they serve such a meal for a child. You tell me do you think a child could eat this and not still be hungry. Please; give me a break! It cost $5.99 for this meal, but so what it’s a shame when you cut back on food and especially the quality.

I am visiting from Florida and this restaurant was recommended as having the best Italian food in town. I can tell that this for sure is the best Italian food that I've had probably ever. Amazing flavor with the pasta was cooked to perfection. The appetizer was also amazing, one of the best mozzarella sticks I've had in a long time. Parking seems like it could be an issue of there is a lot people though were able to find spot pretty quick The only thing that unfortunately did not go with the good experience, was the service. Our server pretty came took the left us with a bottle of water and didn't come back until we were pretty much done with out food and were dry with no water left in the bottle. Still the next time I am in town I'll make sure to visit for amazing Italian experience.
