Took us over 20 to decide what to have, so many good looking options. The staff are really friendly and super attentive. The only downside to our experience was Street sellers kept coming in and disturbing you. We were there for just over 2h but were approached 5 times. Some sellers were fine and moved on, but one was very aggressive and just starred at us after we said no. Regarding the food, we had bruschetta to start and it was beautiful. For mains we had a Duck Thai Red, Mixed Seafood Thai Red and an Egg Fried rice. All cooked lovely and the Seafood was nice and fresh. We opted for ale carte which I recommend to focus on the dishes you enjoy. I would highly recommend the stir fried roasted pork as well as the fried spring rolls. Getting hold on the service staff was really difficult even though it was just a few tables. We sat there pretty long and the complimentary bread came quite awhile later. We didnt even receive any olive oil or vinaigrette to pair the bread with (we were suppose to receive it). I had the magherita which was okay. Wouldnt say it’s super authentic, but I do still enjoy it. Had the bruschetta classica, tomatoes were fresh and thats about it. Should have ordered something with cheese on it that could elevate the dish a little bit. For pasta wise, I had the ravioli al granchio. The dish that stood out to me and I do enjoy every bite of it. It was full of crab and it was not too heavy on the palate. It was done really well. I also had the mafaldine, this was pretty much basic with just tomato base and lobster. Pasta was al dente and it tasted pretty much 1 dimension. Had tiramisu afterwards and this is not bad. However the cream layer on top is a little bit too much and didnt feel like the whole dish was balanced out. But other than that, it was creamy and rich. Only giving a 4 star due to lack of service and attention. Could work on it. :)

Food is exceptional & the presentation is stunning. Beyond a shadow of a doubt the best hotel that I have ever stayed at. Value for money is off the scale. The only thing I’d like to mention is the fact “mountainside” means just that. Although there are numerous buggies and an abundance of staff all ready and willing to drive you anywhere I preferred to go on foot, utilising the many different stairwells and walkways peppered throughout the complex. This gave my calves an incredible workout which some may not appreciate, especially given the humidity levels here which render one exhausted at a rather alarming rate. The apartment itself was staggeringly massive by any European, African or American standard. All lighting and air conditioning was controlled via a single easy to understand interface at the far end of the work desk, which doubled as the bed head the other side. An amazing walk in drench shower with slide door, that housed the toilet the other side. A large bathroom with a standalone bath & waterfall taps could be sectioned off easily with a slide door to the side and a multifold door to the rear, separating the bedroom, a tiny step caught me out a couple of times. Very minor issue. Outside and upstairs did not disappoint either, the whirlpool bath could easily contain 6 adults comfortably. And lastly, Matt the hotel manager was the friendliest & most helpful guy you could ever wish to welcome you aboard. Overall a most phenomenal experience.

When approach to the staff to pay for the prawns, no explanation was given. Silent from the lady was done the cooking. If the staff think he can't match the Price so be it.
