So I rescheduled finally for yesterday (Friday July 28-23) and I’m so happy we did. We were warmly greeted by the owner I believe. We were seated where we requested, by the window. The cafe is beautifully decorated and it was such a cozy, warming and welcoming atmosphere. We had purchased the Classic Afternoon Tea. We were not disappointed. It was so beautifully served. The sandwiches and quiches were wonderful and so flavourful. The scones served with the real whipped cream and fresh jam were outstanding. And of course, the deserts. The macarons were so fresh and just melted. I made sure to take home a 6 pack of those. The cupcakes were so moist. And the salted caramel donut was phenomenal. Our server was very pleasant, and attentive when need be. They did not rush the service whatsoever. The tea was lovely itself, including the beautiful cups and saucers and teapot. There is ample free parking at the underground not even a five minute walk away. My mom and I were so impressed we cannot wait to come back! One of the best high tea places around!

The menu includes all vegetarian dishes. Their Bombay sandwiches and paninis are amazing and my favourite. Very delicious and well made. The other dishes are great too! They also have mixed veg and potato patties along with a variety of different pastries. Pricing is pretty reasonable compared to other places. The bakery has a decent dining area. Due to it’s popularity, it is quite busy over the weekends. I’m yet to find any other bakery/fast food place that offers this kind of taste and quality. They don't have a coffee station where you can add your own milk and sugar so I wasn't really happy with that. I was excited to try the place and drove there from vaughan to try one of the oldest portuguese bakeries in Brampton (saw a feature on them in social). I ordered several 'pasties de camarão' (shrimp patties) and when I got home and served them to my guests one of my guests asked if it's made with fermented fish paste - - - they are NOT. Turns out it was just bad - likely due to being out on a shelf all day (not in a refrigerator) in a bakery that has no AC - a very embarrassing experience and at +$1 each an expensive one :( I also bought a variety of breads including portuguese buns (papo secos) and corn bread (pao de milho) which were fine, but nothing spectacular and definitely not worth going out of my way for. I was hoping to get a few filled Doughnuts, but they didn't have any so I ended up with the chocolate dipped doughnuts and a few 'pasties de nata' (egg custard tarts) - both tasted like they were made a day or two before (at best they were possibly made very early that morning but didn't hold up well with the heat in the bakery throughout the day). While I was excited to visit a store with lots of authentic portuguese things - noting jumped out as being unique to that location vs portuguese stores in Vaughan or Toronto. Can't say I'll be back, even if i happen to be in the neighborhood.

It’s a small business just in the plaza with the Fortinos. Service was ok, the place itself is not meant for dine-in. The waiting area only has one table and it’s a glass patio one meant for outdoors but the place was clean so I was happy. Some minor feedback: don’t charge a service fee for transactions under $10, and don’t mention on the paper next to the register not to ask for Indian type pizza or telling customers not to complain about spice or lack of spice levels. Have been buying their small Italian buns for decades. Ordered 1 dozen 2 times this week really hoping the problems with the first dozen were a one time thing. But no both orders had same problems. 1) bun is no longer oval shaped and is long and so narrow can’t make a proper sandwich like we used to 2) dough is very dense and almost not cooked properly - the lovely light and airy dough gone 3) the bun has a sweet taste to it they never had before 4) the buns turn so hard by the next day they are in edible unless you soak them in a liquid - buns used to be soft and fresh tasting for days. I don’t know why they changed the recipe or the baker or both but we will have to give up decades of purchasing from here and will definitely not be recommending in the future. The buns were fine a few months ago and they were amazing during covid so very disappointed with this change. Anyway buns ended up in garbage.

It's an expensive ice cream but in my opinion it's totally worth it. As the quality of ice cream is so much better. I visited the place on Saturday evening and it was busy as it was a beautiful day outside so everyone was in the store to enjoy the ice cream. I went with my kids and we ordered Frost bite ice cream in a cone Gourmet Brownie and ice cream Sundae And I took Cookies and Cream Milkshake. Every single time the cake is delicious and we fight over the last little bit.
