They have unique flavors for donuts such as Chai Tea, Cotton candy, Thai Tea, Pomegranate Raspberry and more. These types of flavors first attracted me to Drift Dough to begin with. To be honest, the donuts are underwhelming compared to places like Krispy Kreme and Bloedows. The donuts to be seem really dry and often times the flavors arent really there or anything like what they are named, save for the Orange Dreamsicle which is my personal favorite. Hopefully down the road the donuts are improved upon, but they're not horrible. Interestingly enough, my favorite part of Drift Dough is the Nitro Cold Press coffee they offer. I usually have to drown my coffee in creamer but with the Nitro I don't have to add anything at all. Pricing is more than fair, the staff are always smiling, and that's more than enough to keep me coming back.

The $6.99 Breakfast Feast is such a good deal, and the food is amazing, the stuffed French toast with cream cheese is a must, and the Honker omelette is one of the best I’ve had. My daughter loved her pancakes too! Our waitress was very nice and professional, which made the experience even better. Lots of space for seating, so even when it’s busy you don’t feel crowded. Don’t let the construction out front scare you away, this place is hands-down the best spot for breakfast in Rochester. They had teas, 5 kinds of can soda, multiple bottle soda, bottle water, seltzer/ flavored waters, juice. They have large decorated cookies for New Years- and any other occasion. They looked good, I would like to try them. Much like a cake, but easier to eat at school or an office. I had just about decided on my drink, when the person with me, asked what a coffee flight was….? They explained much like a beer flight- you get to try four different coffee. They can be 3 ounce or 6 ounce. Okay- this alone made me fall in love with Roasted Bliss❣️ I was hooked, I will admit it, at the very moment. The only downside- they pick the options in the flight for you. They have a set group, if you order it. I tried things I NEVER would have ordered and liked them. A lot. So it definitely broadened my palate of tastes. One the same note, there was one I thought I would like that I didn’t drink. I very much disliked it. But it’s still great to try so many. I got the 3 ounce, so happy I did. 12 ounces total was more than enough, as the drinks are super sweet and RICH. But delicious too. Having 24 ounces would have been too much for me. The S’more drink was very sweet. Too sweet for my taste. The bad romance with Cherry juice/flavor was fun. I liked it the best. I do wish they had a pitcher of tap water available with just paper cups or glass cups. My flight was heavy on sweetness and I was really needing some water to wash it all down, but not interested in a $2 bottle water. If I could make one simple suggestion, it would be for a tap water always available for customers. We would have stayed longer, had that been available. They are opening a second location more central located in Rochester in the spring of 2033. Across from Barlow Plaza. I’m very excited about that, as we live far North and this location is much further for us then many coffee shops. Will likely not get back here- but looking forward to the newest location addition.

In the downtown area, close to Mayo, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, though options were a little more limited because of the holiday. We ordered a traditional lasagna dish as well as an unordinary spicy entree with an arriabbiata dish with grilled chicken. I decided to have an Italian Pilsner beer with my dinner, a really good pairing IMO. The lasagna was really done well with a copious amount of cheese which was welcomed by my dining partner. The spicy entree I ordered was so well prepared, it was beyond my expectations. It had an abundance of tomatoes, yellow, orange and red, it was a flavor bomb. That’s not to mention the garlic and oregano that enhanced the overall flavor of the dish. Loved the olives, capers and pepperoncini peppers that added some heat and briny notes. The dish was an overall a success and should be tried by everyone that loves those ingredients. I would go as far to exclude the chicken as the dish would be excellent even without the added protein. No need for the addition of the pecorino cheese that accompanied our bread as well. BTW, the bread was great, warm and tasted very fresh, not an Italian style bread, but delicious nonetheless. Thoroughly enjoyed this establishment, highly recommended and it didn’t break the bank. One last note, the patio we dined in had the accordion doors opened with large screens to prevent any kind of bugs entering the dining area. They also have an outdoor patio as well which had some impressive flower arrangements, just a beautiful display. The whole place is beautiful, no matter what dining area you choose. The man that takes care of the breakfast area keeps things well stocked and keeps the tables clean. The minute a table is empty, he has that table so clean it shines. We have been staying there for 23 years. We almost left for good until the new owners/management took over. It was Kylie who told us the new owners were great and to please stay. We had just met her, but we trusted her and decided to stay. So glad we did! The new owners are wonderful. Tommy at the front desk is so kind, friendly and nice too. It was ready when I arrived. I paid abs was on my way. Cake was absolutely perfect. It made me so happy. They went above and beyond in my eyes to make it a special cake AND day for my son. It had a plastic pretend drivers license on the cake, he kept as a memory the “the most perfect day”. I’m so thankful for the hard work of the cake decorator. It truly was perfect & delicious too. It will be a special birthday we always remember.

The customer service provided of a big dude yelling at my wife and daughter as we were enter to "get out, we can only have groups of 3". The location had a couple ordering kiosks but no flow of direction whatsoever.This was off-putting as the Fargo ND location has a pole line system to manage orders and shows how little the actual franchisee that leases that location is involved. The gentleman working in front with the cookies preparing orders was swamped with orders and still showed professional aptitude and ought to be recognized and possibly mentored. The overall vibe of the other staff seen just reading the body languages and hearing heavy sighs sounded like being short help or possibly under appreciated. I hope they can clean it up in front and get some organization. While my family waited outside in the brisk weather I watched 3 cars with people waiting to get in leave just because we formed a line outside the entrance. Best wishes
