Kellerhaus, located in the Weirs Beach area, is a long-standing establishment offering a variety of attractions. Visitors can explore an assortment of gifts, homemade candies, and ice cream. Located perfectly in the Lakes region of New Hampshire this place is awesome. Surprisingly a few bathrooms inside the whole place is clean. Of course they make chocolates to ship out across the country and there is plenty to buy from their delicious sundae bar to gifts for friends. The Sunday bar is awesome. I just fill up on pineapple sauce. There’s plenty of toys and stickers and stuffed animals for adults and kids alike plenty of parking out front and there is an area to sit in. That is covered right out front the staff is always been pretty friendly. I don’t know if it’s handicap accessible because from the vestibule you have to walk up a few steps and there might be a side entrance that I don’t know about and back down a few steps if you’re going to the candy section. Enjoy the place like so many other families have.

This place has been on my list to go to for some time and I was thoroughly impressed. They have a wide range of candies they make in house. They make all their own ice creams with many delicious flavors. Their French toast ice cream was just to die for. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. First you walk through not one but two full rooms of candy – old-school sweets, chocolates, jams, jellies, toys and gifts everywhere you look – and then you hit the ice cream counter with the huge topping bar. Celebrated America's birthday the most patriotic way I know: by consuming an entire lobster roll the size of Rhode Island. Town Docks wasn't playing around—they said “one pound of lobster” and by George, they meant it. This wasn’t a roll, it was a crustacean crown.
And the fries? Oh, glory be! Unlike some places in Meredith that seem to be rationing potatoes like it’s WWIII (you know who you are), Town Docks came through with a golden, crispy BOUNTY. Folks, THIS is what freedom tastes like. I would’ve saluted them if I hadn’t been so busy devouring carbs.

We got salmon burger, Hamburger, onion rings and a crab cake appetizer. Our bill was brought out on a flip flop. That was pretty cool. Came in at ~8pm last night, our server was absolutely amazing, very personable and attentive, checked in on us frequently and went above and beyond. The happy hour deals are from 8-close, we were already planning on ordering things that just happened to be on the happy hour menu, because they have so many options for happy hour. The steak was the most tender, delicious steak I’ve ever tried, the complimentary bread was so soft, the drinks were so delicious and stong but not too strong. The new outdoor dining is gorgeous and vast. Tons of parking, amazing atmosphere, and they were playing some fun music from the 80s (not sure if that was on purpose or a coincidence). This has been one of my all time favorite places to eat since I was about 8, and I’m almost 27. Consistently amazing.

Service was some of the best we've ever had at any restaurant. We sat out on the new deck on a warm summer day and there was live music!
I got the pick two for $16.99 (CHEAP). 1/2 chicken parm on ciabatta, french onion soup, and homemade chips. The french onion soup wad perfect, and the chicken parm was probably the best chicken parm sandwich I've ever had. Photo doesnt lie... NO editing whatsoever on that thing.

Unfortunately this restaurant does not serve food that is worth the price they are asking. Went here a little over a year ago and had perfect fried scallops, onion rings and lobster roll. Stopped in today and spent 106.92 for 2 seafood platters and 4 fountain drinks. The fish had a strange yellow color, the scallops had an off taste. Whole belly clams were tough, shrimp were just barely cooked and the coleslaw was inedible. Wanted to enjoy a good meal in the area but this place is one to keep driving by.

I understand it’s counter service but customer service is non existent here. It was just my boyfriend and I in the dining room and not one staff checked up on us and instead just stood there doing nothing as there was no other customers in line.
My boyfriends family use to come here for years for the coffee / mocha frappes and they removed that from the menu. Honestly sad to see how bad this place has become after the new management took over. Listen to the other reviews when they all say this place has gone downhill.

We wanted to try strawberry Sunday with almonds and coconut but they were out of these toppings and had to get pineapple which was just okay. This would not have been the same experience without our server/waitress Sashaye. She had one of those personalities no matter what you went through that day it was going to be ok and she would make pains to take care of you no matter what she’s done that day too. Smile and laughter filled her eyes. We have had such a rough couple weeks and She was great entertainment and very sweet to us.
Let us get to the food part of this rant. They have these bread/cakes that had a few herbs baked into it and were served alongside the oil with fresh grated cheese and cracked pepper. The seafood risotto was a decadent meal. They should take pains to remove all the shrimp shells but otherwise quite a delish meal. We got truffle fries because we are truffle freeks which they didn’t disappoint and truly they were out of this world. I believe my husband even ate the crumbs. Possibly kidding but I don’t think I am. We ordered the lobster bisque. This was a very dainty version of a bisque not pretentious and just a tiny spot of lobster centered with pieces of chive as garnish, and beaming with a buttery flavor which I mostly prefer. If you are trying to make a lobster bisque chowder you load it with lobster so this minimalistic amount was perfect. It was more of a bowl size and was really filling even half of it so portion wise it was more than most would expect. The Mykonos salad was a must with steak tips. They were perfectly paired and the dressing “homemade Greek” was the right taste to go with the salad and the steak. The cheese was large chunks like traditional Greek salads and the inclusive chickpeas, chunks of cukes and with plenty of Kalamata olives gave it a hearty meal with a great flavor combo. I personally would have added Bermuda (onions) and some green peppers into the salad but it was perfect just the same and plenty to take home had you wanted. We had to order desserts of course. We ordered the carrot cake and the Tommy Bahama cake which both looked so delectable. You don’t get a dessert menu here our lovely server brings a sample plate of all they offer and once you choose she brings you a fresh plate. Lastly we bought a bottle of J Lohr Chardonnay and it tasted like heaven and the peach notes were perfectly paired with the flavors of a salad. We also got a couple cans of Notch Salem Larger and this is one beer in the can that doesn’t have a can taste. The flavor was mild and not hoppy as some lagers can be. It was light and refreshing.
In closing. Our final comment will be the availability of bubbly bottled water. Saratoga is my favorite so it was lovely that we could get that for our meal. The owner stops at the table during your meal to keep things going smooth and satisfactory. We cannot wait to have our beautiful soul of a server again for our next meal and you should run over to check this place out. Make sure you ask for Sashaye. I’m sure they are all good but we really loved her and the blue bistro. We did end up going for their breakfast for a couple of the days and tried eggs, omelets, cinnamon toast, sausage, roasted red potatoes and bacon as well as their french toast and although a pricey breakfast nothing beats quality and service and both are seen here.

We recently revisited The Blue Bistro at the NASWA Resort this summer and I must say that the menu, service and atmosphere keeps improving! The meals have more complexity of flavor and presentation and the "Hope Made" desserts have not lost a step, even though matriarch and pastry chef Hope Makris passed this summer at over 100 years-old! We celebrated our friends 40th birthday there last night. I can not say enough great things about the staff. They printed a happy birthday sign and but little happy birthday confetti on the table along with an awesome birthday cake that came out with a sparkler and a personal written message and a great birthday song. About an 11 minute drive from Gunstock Mountain Resort. Fantastic ice cream! Over a four evening span, I went three evenings. I knew it was going to be great, when I saw the line to order. They write your order down on a small white board, then in less than 60 seconds your order appears. The flavors of ice cream are plentiful. The Margate is our happy place. Walking out of your room right on to the beach is phenomenal. The beach is spacious and well groomed. The hut has great drinks and good food which can be delivered right to you on your lounger.
The updated lakeside building adds a bit of sophistication which was lacking in its previous iteration. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
We love the location- stores and restaurants nearby but when you’re on the beach, you wouldn’t know it.
We will return again and again.

I stayed across the street 6 years ago in a 2 bedroom room and it was clean and well maintained. This stay was in the West building. The room was clean but not well maintained. There was paint on the bathroom fixtures, there were small holes in the walls. Paint was peeling in places. I loved having the bar available all day. He paid soooooo much for this wedding and the wedding coordinator was barely involved. The wedding coordinator was the worst experience of them all. This place is a total rip off and a waste of money completely.
It was absolutely ridiculous how much they charge, and they don't even offer a room for the wedding party to get ready in. If you want one, someone needs to pay to rent a room, and they don't offer a refrigerator.
He had to throw away half his cake and cupcakes because he didn't have anywhere to keep them cold. He paid so much for the room he rented for two nights and there isn't anything special about them at all.

0 stars if I could! Where do I start? We had bought a wedding package for the pavilion and the Mariah room and was so disappointed with the service that was provided to us. The amount of money that was spent on booking this room/venue you would think that they would at least provide you with a refrigerator to store your wedding cake in. Are you trying to make it more difficult for the couples special day? I am not sure what they want you to do- go buy a refrigerator? I guess I can see if you didn’t spend a lot of money- but at least it should come with the use of a refrigerator. The excuse we were given was that someone unplugged the refrigerator one time and now they don’t do that.. I am sorry but that is a poor excuse for a place that hosts weddings. Also- we were told that we were all set by Rachel (our wedding planner/coordinator) in which we got to the front desk to get the keys to our room and were told that we didn’t have a room reserved? The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and not helpful as she said “you still have to call to reserve your room even when you bought a wedding package” not sure why that wasn’t explained to us. We were also told that our first night was already paid for due to our deposit on the venue, in which the front desk told me it wasn’t and charged my card. Not sure why we couldn’t have waited until we got a response from Caroline or the fact that they could look up and see that I had a credit for overpayment on my wedding and that they could have used that (in which 2 hours later was told that they could use that amount to pay for the room) even though we were told it was already covered. They lowered the price from $159 to $99, although by saying something like that you should stick to your word and not just reduce the price but not charge (I know in my profession that if a worker quotes something, we have to stick to that no matter if it’s wrong) Also not impressed that Rachel literally was missing in action for most of the reception night, didn’t have us lined up or anything. During rehearsal, she practiced us walking in but didn’t ask the officiant if they were ready for the speech and when to do any of that. The DJ even asked where she was, in which I stated I have no idea! Pretty venue/ with pretty scenery but not worth it, if this is the treatment that we get. Will never go back again, and have already told many of my friends/family/ work clients to never go with the Margate for visits or wedding planning.

I really enjoy going there to get a coffee and a plain donut. Yes the other varieties and flavors of donuts are also great, the donuts are huge and have a texture unique to each type. They are fresh and worth every penny. The coffee is also fresh and can be made how you like, they use a regular teaspoon there to measure the sugar which I love. Moved to Laconia in 2019 and heard about Goodie Good but never got a chance to visit it. I’m a huge donut loving guy. They seem to close whenever they run out, which tends to be fairly early. Today I put my home on the market and said, wow I never got to go there. Surprisingly to me, I drove by and it was opened. Ran in and fortunately for me there were a few donuts left. I also had a honeydip donut that was perfectly soft, warm, and flaky. Be sure to get there EARLY, as they make limited batches and sell out fast. The location right on the lake is great. they have a deck set up so you can watch the traffic on the water. The inside is small, which is to be expected but it was air conditioned and they had a bathroom. Like most summer ice cream places, it's a group of teenagers running the place and I wasn't super confident in their understanding of allergies so we stuck with soft serve. It was a little pricey (tourist trap, I get it) and there were so many hand made signs that it was hard to tell what everything was. I know it adds charm but it was just so chaotic in my opinion. They did have some fun creations but it was hard to read them. There were also a lot of signs about tipping, meh.

Pretty good ice cream with a great view of the lake. They have a dock for those that choose to arrive via boat. The young ladies that were working when we visited were friendly and working hard to get all the ice cream served in a timely manner with the large groups that arrived at nearly the same time. Definitely not the best ice cream in New Hampshire but a great spot for the area. If you love peanut butter then peanut butter 180 should be perfect for you. The Oreo, cookie dough, and salted caramel were pretty average but still exactly what you would expect for those flavors.

We were there July 6th and the girls working were rude and clearly didn’t want to be there. Clearly no one of authority was there because they were doing and acting however they wanted to. The icecream is delicious and the staff are friendly. They have all kinds of cool options and staff favorites. The names are quite funny and clever. Be sure to ask the staff whose working what their favorites are. The Outdoor dock and patio are great to hang out while enjoying your icecream.
