We found it simply by google-ing “seafood restaurant near me”. There were other search results but decided to try it here because of the reviews. It’s a small restaurant with about 5-6 tables. We ordered ikan bakar and fried fish, along with the plecing kangkung. The ikan bakar was the best - rich flavour, so was the plecing kangkung. The fish was fresh, and juicy. However, the fried fish was overfried so it was a bit tough. The restaurant was clean, the price was really reasonable and the service was quick. We highly recommend if you are in the area.

For swimming and a good beach day, Selong Belanak beach is not too far. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Selong Belanak beach which was always on time. I’d highly recommend a stay at Boni if you are visiting lombok.

Beach is not swimmable due to strong waves at high tide and rocky during low tide. But the resort is just 10 min away from Selong Belanak with calmer waters. We hope to come back to Lombok and will definitely want to return to Segara Lombok.
