That was just the start of this positive experience. We decided to book for our birthday’s and I’m so glad we did. From being greeting so handsomely at the door to being introduced to the waiting staff it was completely flawless and impeccable. To some these little details may well be overlooked but to us we were extremely balled over. We had the pleasure of being looked after by Winnie , Hannah ( who goodness knows how recited the ingredients so eloquently and precise ) and Emily. Winnie ensured that our every need was seen to and was extremely personable . Now the star of the show goes to the gifted chefs who seldom get recognition for the beautiful food they articulately put together. The food was beyond anything my palate has the pleasure of greeting ! I would definitely recommend the taster menu it’s incredible! I just want to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved for making our birthday a truly memorable one. The little touches like the confetti on the table and the personalised menu’s did not go unnoticed. Great ambiance and the place is not overcrowded with many tables, they have 2 floors but the place is not too big. I asked for extras to be added on our table and in under 30 minutes they delivered. We had personalised menues with colleagues name on it. Everything i asked for, they delivered. Would definately visit again. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a Michelin type of a restaurant. Tasting menus, wine paring, good food, everything is just so done to perfection, the staff are so friendly.

We didn't have to wait much more than 5 mins for a table, which was good. I had an Apfelschorle (natural apple juice and fuzzy water) for £4 to go with my main course. I chose the Bayerische Currywurst mit Bratkartoffeln, which is basically a large red smoked currywurst pork sausage with homemade curry sauce, served with sautéed potatoes for £18.90. I found the dish to be well presented, but I wasn't a big fan of the homemade curry sauce, as it had nothing curry about it. I have been to Germany loads and have Germans in my family and I think they'd agree that this isn't the one you get from the street vendors or the classic one in a bottle from the supermarkets out there. This sauce was very red, quite sharp, more tomatoey and a bit spicy...and there was a lot of it which was all over the lovely sautéed potatoes that I wanted to enjoy, which was a shame. But only 3 stars, I'm afraid as the prices of the food are bit high for me, based on what you get. The food is of decent quality and has that home cooked feel about it, but all that money for a sausage and some potatoes is a bit excessive. The German lady serving us was very friendly, so the service was good. Worth a visit if you fancy some German food, but be prepared to pay more if you go for dinner and miss out on the lunchtime deals.

Food was great, atmosphere was cost and best of all its the customer service. Was served by this young gentleman who was very bubbly an polite and love his attitude. I noticed there were only 2 staff on the floor and later on it we only him, Mr Omar who took the service to the next level with a lovely smile. The service is amazing and we did walk in so expected to wait . It was busy but we did not wait long. They cleared a table for 2 and we looked at the menu within minutes. We were not rushed at all. Indoors it comprises of two separate areas linked by a very short corridor.  There is also a covered outside area.  The decor is quite dark and rustic with exposed bricks on the walls and wooden beams on the ceiling.  There are also paintings on the walls.  I was part of a party of eight and we were all impressed with the selection of food and wines available which coupled with the good service made for a very pleasant evening.  Recommended.

It was a sunny evening and all seemed good. What a disappointment. The waiters didn't seem to care less at all, very ambivalent. We both love seafood, so we tried the Full Deck Platter on his recommendation. At for the platter £75, it was definitely on the pricier side; however, for what you get, including huge prawns, tender and crispy calamari, Cape hake, mussels and a generous portion overall with the rice and fries, it actually felt like good value especially when you consider the quality of the food. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and the garlic sauce in particular was fantastic. We went on a warm Tuesday evening and managed to get a lovely table with a view of the river. It wasn’t too busy, which added to the relaxed, homely feel of the place. The service was friendly throughout, and the atmosphere made it a really pleasant dining experience. My brother also had some crab on the side, and it all came together as a great meal. All in all, it is a brilliant spot if you’re into seafood and looking for freshness and quality. We ordered 2 lamb chops, 2 kids fish and chips and 1 sausage and mash. We had to waiting over 30mins for the food despite it not being very busy. The lamb at £19 per person was exceptionally disappointing, it was small, completely overcooked, bland and lacked taste. Pairs with grilled courgettes, potatoes, peas and some purple vegetables (wasn’t sure what it was, they again were although technically well cooked, offered a poor paring with lamb. The dish was bland, overpriced and unseasoned. Moving to the sausage and mash, it was unremarkable (which is partially expected), however the gravy that came with it was thick and great consistency; but lack any real taste. The 2 fish chips were massive considering they were children’s, chips were executed well, fish again technically well cooked, but again let down by the lack of seasoning to the fish itself. To top it off 12.5% was pretty terrible. Overall a lacklustre experience that failed to match the price significantly. On the positive note the general environment was pleasant.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the staff, service and availability of menu on our recent evening out. We were the first people in on a Saturday evening, so the service was very prompt and friendly. We ordered Pad Thai, Grilled Chicken and plain Jasmine Rice — along with a Tiger Lager and some Jasmine Tea. Pad Thai was very nice, with not much spice, and they did give you the option to add heat with chilli flakes which were on the side of the plate. The grilled chicken had lovely flavour with nice crispy bits of skin, but the salad was fairly spicy. Definitely recommend if you're into Thai or other Asian cuisines.

A small tucked away busy restaurant. Two of us turned up and waited about 5 minutes until they found us a table. We ordered a pork and noodle dish and a prawn tamarind dish. Both were amazing.
