Her passion, mastery, expertise, creativity is clearly shown through her work. You can tell she loves what she does. The process of working with her was so smooth. She took a small deposit for a booking fee, then took our order. We walked through options, flavors, and showed her pictures of ideas for all of our desserts that weekend. It included a rehearsal dinner groom's cake, wedding reception cake, and cupcakes. She nailed all of them! They were tasty, moist, not too sweet, and decorated so well! They literally matched the vision we had and surpassed pictures we showed her; they had her touches on them. We were in town about 5 months prior to our wedding and we were able to do a taste testing with her — ordering about 6-8 cupcakes of different flavors. It was nice to test them and figure out how to match flavors for our wedding. Her billing process is secure and easy online. Pickup for the taste test cupcakes and the rehearsal dinner cake was easy and her store is easy to get to. Delivery for the wedding was on time, without any issues. We received so many complements about the cakes and how they were decorated! We were fortunate to have some leftovers from the wedding that we ate on for the next few days. I will say the cake and cupcakes did survive and still taste good 1-3 days later as we traveled back home from Virginia .😂 we will definitely use Dominique again for any dessert needs and will continually recommend her to others! We booked Anna to do our wedding cake for our wedding on October 1st. We did a tasting at home which was so convenient for my husband and I’s crazy work schedules! The different cakes were so flavorful and moist and the buttercream frosting was to die for! I literally asked my son to google a bakery in our area while I was driving on a Thursday (Late in the afternoon). I knew it was too late to order a birthday cake but I figured I may be able to pick up some cupcakes the next day for my husbands birthday. When I called Bella's I was greeted with the the sweetest and most welcoming voice ever (Miss Anna). I told her I just wanted a small carrot cake and without hesitation she said I could pick it up the next day by 2pm! I was already sold by her AMAZING customer service and great reviews. I almost didn't care how the cake came out! Lol. The next day was completely exhausting running around with my two children, picking up birthday stuff and to top it off, I wasn't feeling well at all! Miss Anna was so sweet and understanding about when I was able to come and pick up the cake and went out of her way to accommodate me! As if that wasn't enough, the little cake I ordered for my little family of four was not only bigger than I anticipated, but it was totally adorable! It was exactly what I needed to surprise my husband after a long day of work on his birthday! Finally, the cake taste amazing! An awesome price. We also had the Belle Isle Lavender Lemonade. Delicious. A sparkling wine and lavender vodka that was so refreshing. We also had appetizers crab dip and fried oysters which I don't partake of but the crab dip was delicious. Served hot with fried pita bread rounds which was everything to me. Now I will say though I don't eat oysters they looked so good I was tempted to try them, but I didn't. 😊Now let's talk about the restaurant itself. Beautiful. It is large has a separate room that you could probably have a separate gathering. We loved the bathrooms. Each were themed, clean and all very nice. It has an atmosphere of date night, girls night or hanging with the fellas. Now it's also for family but I don't think the kiddos would care to be there long. But if family friendly. Right next door is the market which features home baked goodies, breads, wines and oddities. I purchased the magic bar, brownie and oatmeal cookie. They are huge and homemade. Can't wait to try them.
