The lamination was flawless with beautiful, defined layers and a deep golden finish that hinted at the buttery richness inside. Crisp and shattery on the outside, yet airy and tender within. You can tell they don’t skimp on technique or quality ingredients. The shop itself is small but charming, with a warm and homely vibe. Staff were friendly and efficient despite the steady stream of customers. Everything in the display looked stunning, from cakes to sandwiches to tarts. I’ll definitely be back to try more. It had excellent reviews and we arrived around 10am to find it busy, which is a positive sign. The establishment was well-staffed and attentive to our needs. We ordered two cappuccinos, a cheese and ham sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The food arrived promptly despite the number of customers. The staff were helpful and polite. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned for lunch that day and on the final morning before our departure to try the cakes and sandwiches. These were of high quality with excellent ingredients and it is clear why the establishment is always busy. Give it ago you won’t regret your decision

Took a quick stop to grab a coffee and some food. Coffee was average, which was the biggest let down and very weak. Ordered the special jalapeño and cheese pastry and avocado on toast. What I did find surprising was that we weren’t asked of the food and coffee was a takeaway so assumed they all are but that is not the case. I've been here a few times after an overnight shift (I work all weekend) because it's one of the only places open early and I have to sleep right after. They make nice hollandaise sauce. I ordered a bacon breakfast roll, and I repeated my order twice. The person serving was so vague and nonchalant in the middle of a rush, and everyone dining in has to order at the counter which is not at all comfortable, her attitude was frustrating enough. These people are always really dismissive and act like you're wasting their time to the point that they don't even listen- They misheard my name twice so I gave up and chose a more phonetically simple one. After about 5 minutes I get my food from a different server and leave- I don't touch my roll until I get home and I realise it's SMOKED SALMON, with capers and raw red onion. I have really strong food aversions and struggle to eat the at the best of times. I like this dish but couldn't stomach it whatsoever when I most needed to. It may sound like I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but I could've been deathly allergic to salmon. Nevertheless, I wasted $15, 40 minutes, energy walking there and back only to leave disappointed and hungry- I wish I could've at least gone back and changed this but I did not have time and had to sleep. I'm only now able to eat at 2am after a long shift. This was 100% preventable and I did my best to communicate clearly- this place really shows how little they care about their customers by giving the barest minimum of service and maximum turnover. TL:DR abysmal service and completely wrong order. If you like feeling forgotten about this place is for you.

Not soggy at all, has a solid and crisp structure without being dense or dry in the slightest since the inner parts of the pastry have a wonderful soft mouthfeel and butter flavour pervading all throughout. I think the filling is less impressive as some of the beef chunks are dry and could do with some more gravy. I do have high standards for meat pies though. 8/10 There seemed to be a ton of variety of things so I may be back in the future to try some more :3

It’s never on the rack, you have to ask for it from the counter as it seems to come from the fridge wrapped in cling wrap (I suspect to keep it from contaminants). It tastes as though it’s from a potato base so not too strong in the flavour which is how I like it so I can taste what I put on the bread. And not too sweet like a lot of the brands from the shelf can be!

I tried the Almond Croissant & it was fantastic! So flaky, buttery, crunchy outside & creamy inside. I enjoyed every bite of it. In addition, I couldn't resist trying their Figs Tart, which was absolutely delicious and so balanced. Not so sweet & you just feel the freshness of the figs along with the vanilla & brulee creamy taste. Also, their creme bruleè was so delicious and probably one of the best I have tried! Enticed in by pictures of incredible looking parties, I ended up choosing the classics and my favourite bakery items - a spinach and ricotta role and a scone. The spinach and ricotta roll was so fresh, tasty, crispy and complimented with an epic relish. As a vegetarian, the spinach and ricotta roll is often the only hot vegetarian pastry option, so I’ve tried a lot, and the one from here has now won the gold medal from me! The scone was so fluffy and tasty I forgot to take a photo. Coffee wise, I had batch brew. It’s not offered at all bakeries so I was excited to have one from here, and it was spot on. The Crème Brûlée Danish feels kinda underrated from people I talk to but it feels like a sleeper hit to me with crisp sugar top like an actual crème brûlée, with silky custard tucked inside a soft Danish pastry. Not too heavy, and you get that satisfying crack with every bite. This month’s special, the Coffee & Walnut Praline Swirl is defintiely for the coffee dessert lovers. It’s got layers of white coffee ganache crème pâtissière, walnut praline, a light mascarpone cream on top, dusted with cocoa powder and finished with candied walnuts and a chocolate-covered coffee bean. Textural, nutty, creamy and just super well thought out. They’ve got a pretty broad range of desserts and viennoiseries, and the quality across the board has always been excellent 🙂‍↕️
