The food is superb and the service was attentive without being intrusive. We decided to have multiple small share plates which was a good decision as the variety and freshness of the seafood was excellent. Desserts although pricey are amazing so glad we treated ourselves. The only issue is there is currently (Sept 2025) scaffolding surrounding the restaurant while roof repairs occur so it semi-blocks the amazing view but this is only temporary and the food and service more than make up for it. Will definitely return.

Shared 6 small plates with my fiance, absolutely delicious! Seafood was so fresh, all the flavours complimented each plate and serving sizes were perfect. Very appealing to the eye too the way they served the plates up. Staff were very friendly and accomodating with our 8 month old too which was lovely. Great view of the marina too. We visited when there was construction works however this did not affect our experience at all. Would highly recommend anyone who loves seafood and doesn’t mind spending a little more on their meal to enjoy a lunch or dinner here! Only negative to mention would be the lift going up to the restaurant was a little scary.

Ordered a fillet burger, piece of crispy chicken and chips on the self ordering machine. Was eventually called and told there was a 10 minute wait on the fillet burger, which she accepted as normal with them, she was then called and handed the box and told that they had found some fillets (should have rang alarm bells). Arrived home and found the burger bun as hard as a rock, the fillet the same and the lettuce brown. The crispy chicken beyond burnt, the chips were half okay though. So for $20.65 she got to eat a few chips. Think the store manager needs to have a serious look at the food they are turning out to unsuspecting customers at this store. Gave it a 1 star rating as there isn’t any minus 5 ratings, and even this would be a a bit too high. We both had KFC app’s on our phones, now deleted as we will never enter a KFC store again.

It took two tries but the second lot of eggs were poached to perfection. They did not get huffy when we returned the hard boiled eggs but replaced them almost instantly. The Katsu whiting on the other hand was delightful. Batter as light as a feather. Beautifully cooked fish that was still wonderfully moist. A really good dish. We finished with a beautiful miso soup. A cracking miso. The teriyaki salmon was fantastic as well. Great quality salmon only is used here. it was superbly cooked. Great combination with rice. A terrific way to finish. With any luck, the new owners will update the rooms a bit more before Summer...new floor coverings would be a nice place to start. I was tempted to give it 4 stars, based purely on bang for buck, compared to just about everything I looked online prior to arriving.

And major failure we found was the lack of signage to advise that orders are only taken at the counter. The quality of the food has gone downhill dramatically over the past 2 weeks. I regularly call in here to buy breakfast and lunch as I work close by.
