This place was incredible. I’ve lived in both Wellington and Auckland and neither have a cafe quite like this. The cabinet food was a work of art, there was menus galore. I got the mushrooms on toast and iced coffee and both were delicious. The staff were lovely, genuine and kind. We continue on our holiday and leave New Plymouth tomorrow so we’re gutted Wild Pear won’t be open again before we leave. Hopefully we will come back one day!

A jewel in New Plymouth. The food here tastes as amazing as it looks, friendly service, a great casual atmosphere, highly recommended to stop in anytime you are in town. An extremely popular cafe in the heart of the city and deservingly so! Absolutely amazing vegan food from their salads to their cakes. We ended up here 3 times within our 3 days in New Plymouth and were never disappointed!

We love our pizzas, and this is right up there with some of the best we have had. The dough was cooked perfectly with a nice crisp base that still had a good chew. They clearly use great quality ingredients as the toppings were superb. The combination of cheeses in the 4 cheese pizza is irresistible. In particular, the blue cheese is beautiful, could get a pizza just loaded with that bad boy. Service is great, and there is plenty of seating. They have an extensive list of different beers, I will definitely return to have a pizza and a pint or 2

Cool place to have dinner and the pizzas were good but not the best (maybe we’ve been spoiled by a certain pizza place in Auckland).
I gave only 4 stars because we felt mislead by the instagram posts about no. 13. We expected it to be the same thinking that ‘pork’ referred to prosciutto but instead we got the pizza at the bottom of my photo.
Tried to message via instagram to ask if menu changed recently but got no response. Tried to look for info online about a menu update but didnt find anything. I guess it did change.

We came here on the wim after looking on Google Maps! It was just before it got busy so we were lucky! We got the sausage and truffle pizza and some beers! The staff were friendly and worked like a well oiled machine! Was cool to sit at the bar to watch them churn out pizza. Food came quick 20 but by 7pm, there were longer lines and wait. The dough was tender and crispy and nicely spotted. The toppings were generous and balanced. Such a cool venue. Recommend stopping by!!!

First time to visit this place. Very authentic American diner except that they used Watties tomato sauce. Food and servings were great. The kids loved their milkshakes. Realy disappointing, was driving past and spotted the old school American diner which looked good and the Google rating was high. We ordered the route 66 smash burger and curly fries. It was very very greasy food, stopped together in soggy burger buns. Used so many napkins, then no soap in the bathroom to wash the grease off my hands. Not your usual fast food! Situated at the seafront , this restaurant slash takeaway boasts of the freshest seafood and vegetables. My salad tasted like homemade one, lemon fish was custom cooked in tempura, panko crumbs and pan fried for three of us.
And you can always judge the fast food outlet by the quality of chips. Those were not greasy, but light with a pleasant crunchy surface and soft soul.
Extremely attentive staff that made rad coffee for our very demanding group: “large naked cappuccino” and “large latte with half shot coffee”. And they nailed it! Thank you.

ABC Catering did the food for our wedding last month. They catered some platters post ceremony, the stunning Winter Farmland Buffet at the reception followed by some incredible dessert! All the food was delicious and we had so many compliments from our guests!
Ant was such a breeze to deal with throughout the process from picking the menu to the timeline of the day. The staff on the day were also professional.

We came across this little unassuming cafe by chance while on holiday and what a find! The extensive menu made it hard to choose but once you did, it didn’t disappoint! The food was excellent, even down to the piece of grilled salmon fillet rather than the usual, stock standard, thinly sliced smoked salmon on the salmon bagel! An Update. 27th September 2024. I ordered a pizza off website menu $19.50 and got a shock to be charged $25.00. In saying that they did give me something sweet to make up for it and acknowledged that the website requires updating. The pizza was gorgeous..loaded with rosemary chicken and cheese/basil. So Good. Thank you. I have seen Shawn working so hard to bring a wonderful bakery shop to Frankleigh Park and the new owner's are upholding the quality of food and service that helped create this wonderful bakery.

Burger Fuel is a good option if you are looking for a fast food burger in town. Unfortunately I was disappointed yesterday. We ordered the V-Twin and asked for the plant based option. It says on the menu "ask the staff for the vegan option". The staff had to make extra changes for that, she didn't look to sure about what she was doing. End of story: we had cheese on our burger which was really not cool due to one of us is lactose intolerant. You can tell the team here takes pride in their work because it shows in every bite. The cheese? Melted to perfection, gooey, stretchy, and generously layered. The toppings? Always fresh, always plentiful. You don’t get those stingy sprinkle-sized toppings like some other places might do. No – here at Domino’s Fitzroy, they absolutely load up the pizzas, making sure every slice is bursting with flavour.

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered three pizzas through the Domino’s app, which told me they were ready for pickup. When I arrived, they hadn’t even started cooking one of them. The staff told me my first two pizzas weren’t ready, but I could literally see them sitting there, boxed and cooked, while they lied straight to my face.
To top it off, they rushed the last pizza so badly that it came out both burnt and undercooked at the same time. The other two were already cold by the time the last pizza was finished being cooked as well.

Terrible experience. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Basic customer service is a joke for Dominos Fitzroy.
Chicken pizza was handed to me along with my order instead of veg pizza ordered for Friday Family dinner.
Called the store and Staff (Kush) asked to email the pictures of the pizza to his personal email address as no official email is available.Well pictures emailed with order confirmation, no reply. Called store for follow up and same person told me they are so busy and can’t look into my order now. Called end of the night and guy left the store and another staff told me that Kush is the manager and he will come back to me. Called next day and same excuse.
I am done with u, been one week and still no reply. Wasted my money, they don’t bother if got wrong order or what. End of the night have to cook at home for veg family member. Wish I had option to give u negative stars

It has happened to us twice in a row we ordered pizzas few weeks ago and were served with wrong spicy sauce on all the pizzas. I did not complain thinking it could be a mistake.
Today again we Ordered indian pizzas and they are just absolutely tasteless completely full of sauce toppings no flavour of anything except the sauce on top.
I guess the team needs bit more training no matter u look at indian name please be mindful that people want quality not quantity. And not every Indian eat spicy food. Good luck team
