The place is jam packed with patrons when we got there on a weekend at 6 p.m. The smart thing to do is make reservations ahead of time and you can access that through their web site. The sunomono salad is lovely and the miso soup is silky and delicious. We tried the agedashi tofu, the vegetable tempura, and the croquette. The chirashi bowls are beautifully presented and the selection of fish is very fresh. The sushi platter is also very nicely displayed and scrumptious. We ended our meals with ice-cream. Definitely worth another visit since the food quality is wonderful. The wait staff could be a tad friendlier but understandable that they just want the customers to just eat and go. It's a bit sad to see that the restaurant was mostly empty on a Saturday night because the food was pretty good. The service was quick and efficient, they even packed up my soup in a cute little lunch bag and my soup stayed hot for more then an hour. I was kind of happy about that. The restaurant is nice and cozy they have a nice terrace. The food was good but very salty, I guess they offer extras because there is not much to the soup. I took the Miso Beef and got 2 pieces of beef some corn and some bamboo shoots with noodles. Was good but I would definitely add more stuff if I were to come back. Overall good take out experience!

This time I had the spicy mazemen. The poached egg was overcooked and the beef that was supposed to be hot was cold and dry. The takoyaki tasted "ok" but the pieces of octopus inside was too chewy. And we barely had any service. Might still give a try to the other summer special since I used to liked their normal menu. First review: Tried the new yuzu chill ramen. I was skeptical at first with the cold broth but with the yuzu taste it's actually pretty good and refreshing. The only downside is the cold chicken being a little dry and the cold broth alone at the end was a bit to mush to drink compared to a hot one. Will definitely comme back to try the other summer special.
