My wife is vegetarian so we would always request meat and vegetarian dishes be kept in separate containers. What if someone with a severe allergy comes and gets food cross contaminated because staff will not read any fine details in an order? This is now the 6th time in the last few months its happened. I would say the aburi is a must get. The special roll combo we ordered seemed to be a variations of California rolls but had a good selection with slightly different flavours. That being said, they seem to really like using imitation crab. (The sushi we ordered didn't have too much raw fish) The teriyaki combo was a disappointment and will be skipped next time. Overall 4 stars. If it was aburi alone it would've been 5 stars but the teriyaki combo was overly peppery and the the sushi was slightly off balance with the heavy amount of imitation crab used and sometimes overpowering cream cheese.

The tuna rolls were fat and the portions were large. However, the spicy tuna was also large portions but looked as though the tuna was pulled apart by hand. The sauce was over portioned and completely overpowered the taste of the tuna. It looked like someone mashed the fish in the container, poured the spicy sauce over top and shook the box. When I opened the salad, again the portions were large, but looked as though the base of the salad was prepped by tearing pieces of lettuce by hand. The bottom of the container had a pool of water on the bottom. I assume from washing the lettuce. Thw overall taste of the food was okay. Prep and presentation was far less than desirable. Not something I would expect to pay that much for (cost me 30$ with a tip) considering what I got. I did read the other reviews which echoed similar things that I noticed. However there was a decent amount of people whose experience was much different than mine. As of now I would give the restaurant 3/5. Would I go back? Not right now. I might go back and try it in the future again.

Party of 6, we were seated quickly. We had to share menus, and while water came quickly, tea was a bit slow. Food quality is excellent.
