It’s a new bakery not listed on google. And reviews of the other bakeries were mixed in Yeppoon and Emu park. This bakery is brand new inside. With a long new glass counter. With some very nice cakes inside. The pies & sausage rolls were all very reasonably priced. I’ve never had a mushroom pie with cheese before, and it was delicious. They also have fresh bread and rolls. Their coffee is very popular with the locals. They have two girls behind the counter. It was very popular on the Sunday morning. Plenty of parking. Quiet little shopping centre. If you’re heading to far north QLD, I recommend Cardwell Bakery and Babinda bakery. And if you’re heading south, I recommend Gin Gin bakery. And in NSW on the New England Highway, Deep water bakery. And Mace’s hot bread at Miles on the Warrego Hwy. Jeds bakery Woolgoolga Mid North Coast NSW. Dorrigo Wood Fired bakery Mid North Coast NSW. Went there for the first time in years and wow, completely different. Lovely ambience, licensed bar, very clean and fully airconditiond. Service was excellent. We had the tandoori chicken starter (from their tandoor oven) served on a sizzle plate and it was beautiful. The chicken tikka masala and coconut lamb madras were very tender, complex flavours and very tasty. Rice and poppodums lovely. Nice choice of wines, beers and soft drinks. Generous portions, and everything was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
