I did ask about an ingredients list with regards to the non vegan options and was told they don't have one. I wasn't expecting them to, but it would have been nice. Regardless, the Coffee Donut was very appetising. The Iced Latte that helped wash it down was also very good. I've knocked down one star due to the fact that the indoor seating area isn't very welcoming, featuring fairly uncomfortable and weird looking seating. They do have an outdoor seating area which is a lot nicer. Prices are very high for what you get and they have the gall to ask for tips when you're paying an already steep price. Tips should be based on the overall service, not before you've even tried the food.

The coffee good . The patisseries delightful pretty looking and tasteful. However the service was abhorrent, hence the 1 star. On arrival we ordered coffees and a few delicious looking treats, there were 6 of us. When the young man brought the drinks to our table he didn’t place them gently down onto the glass surface of the tables, instead they were placed so hard that the sound could be heard 3 or 4 tables away. The food was really good, it was a well thought out menu, the wine was amazing and the service from our waiter (Huma) was top-notch. She was lovely! Very knowledgeable on the different wines and their histories and flavours. Our table was kept tidy as she'd regularly come over to clear the wine glasses when we'd finished our drinks and ask how everything was. It was an expensive treat for my partner but as taster menus go in the city centre this was reasonably priced. We'd love to come back with friends. ✨

The food was indeed delicious, one of the best plates one could have for brunch in Manchester. However, if you have only one customer at the table and they order a coffee and a dish, you don't spill half of the coffee without saying anything about it and bring the dish at least 25 minutes later. The coffees came out promptly and were great. Our food took 40 minutes to arrive, and the eggs royale was already lukewarm.
