It went well with sea bass and lamb of course. We ordered chocolate lava (Fondant au chocolat) for dessert and it was perfectly cooked with proper sweet and bitter. But there was something so completely professional about the interaction, it left a positive impact. 2. Same thing once I got to the hostess stand. They were attentive, I was greeted by two individuals who were quick to say 'welcome'. They weren't on their phones and were not surrounded by a glob of waitstaff. 3. It is reservation based. They will not seat you till your whole party has arrived and they give you a 15 min grace period from your reservation. 4. This is dress coded. Business casual. Me and my party all wore dresses. It was fun to see everyone else at other tables dressed up also. It helped make such an elegant atmosphere and helped curate the experience. You went seeing anyone in pajamas. 5. The hotel was built in the early 1900s and was absolutely stunning with plenty of sitting and had a moody vibe. The architecture was beautiful and the French room was open, airy, and had beautiful light. 6. The food was yummy. You might be concerned that it won't be enough food. But I couldn't finish my last biscuit because I was so full. So trust me, it is enough. 7. They added candles to our cakes for our birthday! 8. When it came to the tea, we were given two options. Our server seemed well educated about tea, where it came from, what it would pair well with, and if it would taste well with sugar or/and creamer. 9. We chose this place because they had a decent reviews. Food was okay although we have been to other ones in Fort Worth, and they had more selection and and larger quantity even. Only complain is our server Anna seemed to be very inconvenient by having us there, she just seemed so annoyed that we were wondering if we ever did anything wrong or we were rude. She approached our table and always seemed to be in a rush and did not even take the time to explain everything or we if we even had any question. We were not sure if that was just her normal personality being so cold, if so, you shouldn't be working in this industry. Food was alright. And she gave us the last course which was the dessert. She just put the tab on the table while we were still eating and did not even ask if we would like anything else, we actually wanted more fruit and she passed by and we approached her nicely and she answered, "YES?"... It was my first time dining again and my waitress Erica truly made the experience she went over the whole menu for us. Answered all of our questions with descriptive answers. I called the hotel on approximately 5/19/2022 for information regarding room types and facilities. The phone was answered by a very pleasant sounding Gary Belame (sp) who informed me he was the general mgr. Thinking this was spam, I didn't answer. It was the long, lost general manager, Gary. He informed me that "time had gotten away from him" and if I still wanted the room, it was available. The atmosphere and interior design were beautiful, and the service was excellent — truly attentive and accommodating. Started with a cosmopolitan martini and it was one of the most well balanced cosmos I’ve ever had! This place is great for a date night. Outdoor patio has a great view of a pond, better when the weather is cooler. We ordered the bacon wrapped quail to start. So tender and delicious. First the good. The location is great, loved the mosaics in the hotel and we enjoyed being able to walk around the art district. We had breakfast in the hotel and our server was helpful, friendly and had a sense of humor. We visited the pool and were surprised that it was not heated. The hotel gym was decent, could use a better (newer) bench but it had the basics. Our room had everything we needed (the bed was quite soft) and a great view of the eye across the street. My first shower would only get warm and not hot so maintenance had to come up and show me a safely button to push which allows the water to get hot. This was after texting with hotel staff (a very helpful option) but surprising that they didn't just tell me about the button and chose to send maintenance. We were in room 852 on the North side of the hotel and overlooking the eye. We came back from dinner around 10 on Saturday night and were kept awake until about 1:30am. I guess Main St is where people choose to drive their cars with the music so loud it feels as though it's in your hotel room. The motorcycles and cars also like to rev their engines.... A LOT. The windows appear to be single pane and they don't keep any noise out at all. Due to the noise level, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.  Being on the 8th floor and feeling like I was in the cars that were driving on main st and blaring music 2 nights in a row was incredibly disappointing.  If this was a 2 star hotel, okay.  That is not the case.  Upgrade the windows to double or triple pane.  Your location is great, service was friendly and efficient, but one generally wants to sleep at night and that is not possible at your hotel. We even asked the front desk on our second morning if we should change rooms and were told Sunday nights were quiet. I should have listened to my gut as our Sunday night was not quiet. Although the amount of cars & motorcycles wasn't as much as on Saturday, we still heard several cars with music blaring or motorcycles reviving their engines until around 1am. This was the beginning of a long overdue vacation and birthday celebration and it did not get started on the right foot unfortunately.

Package was confirmed MULTIPLE times. Thankfully, the flower petals were in the room , but the strawberries and champagne were missing. Our room had no hand soap. The carpet was extremely dirty which looked like it hadn't even been vacuumed in a while with someone's toenail clippings that weren't ours on the floor. Then, right before we leave for the restaurant and the Joule I noticed a bunch of stains on the pillow. It may be clean, but for a luxury hotel you expect a level of cleanliness of a room and it was so disappointing to see that the pricing of a hotel room does not matter in quality. I would not recommend staying here. Yes, we had a great time regardless of the situation but the dirtiness of that room is unacceptable by any hotel and I've stayed and cheaper hotels that look nicer than that. Now on to the restaurant, food was great. Great service was okay but it looked like they didn't have a ton of employees for their business so we were seated for about 20 minutes before a waitress came up to us. In total we were in the restaurant for almost 2 hours, unfortunately not exaggerating. The rambler bar was great. That was the only thing that was a 10 out of 10 experience. The spa was also great. And would definitely recommend even though one of the women giving us the couple's massage was coughing a little bit and we ended up getting sick from that.

For dinner we received room service. Unfortunately the NY Strip was overcooked, but the flavor was good. The truffle fries lacked in truffle flavor and tasted a bit cheap. The room service itself was excellent and timely. For breakfast we gave the in-person experience a shot. We showed up around 10:30 and did not receive our meal until 11:20, although the service again was excellent and we received drink refreshments in a timely manner. The coffee was lovely as well. The avocado toast was okay but also not outstanding, as the food came out barely warm and my over easy egg was also over cooked. This crab cake has made me turn my back against lobster. It's so soft, buttery, nutty, and savory. The cornbread in it compliments so well. It's truly the stand out of the meal. It was also gorgeous. We ate it so fast that there was only the shell left by the time we regained consciousness. The potatoes with caviar - How??? It's almost like they scooped out the insides of a potato blended it with butter and milk and put it back in the skin. The creme fraiche paired with the chives and the greens brought such a good balance to the decadence. Peach bumby - !!!! No words the crispy sugar layers of the pastry mixed with the froyo, the peaches, and the sabayon. Kisses to the chef. This is so yummy.

The quaint but perfect atmosphere, the top notch service from host, staff and waiters, to the creative and flavorful dishes, were all outstanding.
