Many students at VIT and visitors to CMC prefer this restaurant for their authentic north indian food at a reasonable price. Many of my Jain friends used to come here especially during a specific festival/ season when they wanted jain style food. The ambience is very simple and the service is quick. Most dishes are dhaba style. Rotis and other breads are good. One complain I have about their gravies is that they sometimes over decorate them with cheese or cream and add too much oil. Other than that, they taste fine. The lassi is decent, while the buttermilk can be skipped. What I liked the most was their rabdi/basundhi. It was fresh, creamy and just the right amount of sweet. Would definitely recommend for authentic north indian food.
