The chicken yakitori was great with the distinct smoky and sweet flavours and the sushi tasted great. Yaki udon is my usual go-to order but found that over the years theres less and less toppings and slightly more soupy with a lot of sauce left over. The beef lo mein was good but also pretty salty with a lot of watery sauce left over but I would still recommend this place as an entry level restaurant into Asian cuisine. The service here is reliable, quick and accommodating and definitely is the highlight.

It's overall good but it would be even better if they paid attention to some details. The duck and rice bowl is good but the greens were stone cold - from the fridge. Cold veg isn't a big issue as some Asian side dishes are served cold, but for it to be served as part of a hot dish is jarring. Most duck slices were plump, moist but some were crispy and dry. The difference between them was huge. If they tweaked a few things, it would change the customer experience a lot. The FOH staff were polite and respectful and regularly offered top up on tea.

We tried their Chicken Karaage and Prawn Gyoza and it was an absolute delight. Their Tonkotsu is as authentic as you can get on this side of London. The noodles are authentic ramen and the broth is creamy (which I really like). Lastly, we tried their ice cream called The Naughty One and it was really good. Nonetheless they had free tables so my group had no issues getting served. Ordered a bunch of starters and were underwhelmed. Lamp chops were slightly tough and overdone and lacked flavour. Chicken wings were okay, chilli paneer average. Onto the mains and the curries lacked punch and flavour, they maybe used to western palates as I like my spice. This place is overpriced for what it is, you do have the option of paying by cash and getting 20% off. Why can't they just price their food normally, very odd. Worst of all, me and my friend had upset tummies the next morning and needed the loo a few times so I question the cleanliness of the place.

At first we had sticky rice to go with it but the curry was in such a good portion and so tasty that it’s a waste to throw away after the first bowl of rice. We ordered the king prawn summer rolls which was accompanied with some peanut sauce that was rich and flavourful. Friendly staff with a nice variety of Vietnamese classics like Bun Cha, Egg Coffee etc. The Vietnamese coffee wasn't as typically sweet as expected, which is probably deliberate but I would've preferred sweeter. For food we had the Original and Chicken Banh Mi's which were tasty but lacking in flavour and meat content. This is the main reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars. However they are good value for money compared to most places that charge £14 for only a little more. The Hanoi classic of Bun Cha was yummy and filling, but the meatballs and pork were a bit dry. I would've also preferred a bit more of the salad leaves etc. Will definitely come back when next in the area.

Tandoori dishes were amazing. Though some chicken pieces were uncooked but were manageable. Gravy dishes seemed the same apart from the main ingredient changed. Probably the best I have recieved anywhere. Very difficult to find a place that has great food and great service and this place was exceptional in both departments. Parking is tricky and you will probably end up having to park far away. Manager arshani was very polite and accommodating on our requests and dietary requirements despite initial inflexibility. Franco took care of us throughout the evening and he was friendly informative and very attentive. Everything you want and need from waiting staff. Even when he wasn't there his colleague would step in and was also great. The starts on the set menu are outstanding and the quality of some of the produce is excellent. The lamb choose are divine and prepped so well.The paneer was soft. Personally I proffered the starters over the mains. Lamb chops I'd give 9.0 out of 10. Just need to render the fat or trim little more if possible. Seekh kebabs had good flavour 8 out of 10. Chilli paneer 9 out of 10. Amazing flavours. Alloo tikki chaat had great flavour but could do with another crunch texture like onion and or sev. Salmon was cooked to perfection and lightly spiced. 9 out of 10. Chicken tikka was okay.7.5 out.of.10. The chutneys were brilliant. 10 The raita 10 for me. New concept of having carrot but worked so well. Could eat that on its own. The plain rice was amazing. Staff were really friendly and helpful, accommodating us even though we were quite early for our booking and were sure to check up on us with drinks and food. Never an empty glass. My favourite was probably the popcorn jinga - it was absolutely delicious and I thought a good amount of prawns. The lamb as part of the mixed grill was also really tasty, same with the pani puri and bhaji lots of depth of flavour. By mains we were feeling pretty full and satisfied so just got a butter chicken and masala chicken between 3 of us which again were very yummy. Can tell they know what they are doing. To quote my mum “I think this is the best curry I’ve ever had”. Even bought a cook book after.

The only good thing was the decor. Food was pretty standard nothing amazing and I would say the service was good only because we weren't visiting very late, it was mid afternoon around 3pm and that's why the food was served on time and we didn't had to wait too much. We ordered sheesh Kebabs for starters and chicken tikka along with a portion of papdi chaat. The Kebabs were a little spicy but still nice so was the chicken tikka. Papdi chaat was nothing amazing they don't make it fresh on the spot as it seems like it was in the refrigerator for a while. We also ordered a house salad which came with more onions and a slice of orange instead of lemon, paid £4 for it. We ordered a few plain naans and keema karahi as well as saarson ka saag with pilau rice. The karahi smelled of meat i cant forget that smell it wasn't bunned properly and you could taste the tomatos in it, the saarson ka saag was just blended with no effort to actually cook it properly. I liked the pilau rice but we only got a small plate of it. I wouldn't say the portions are generous for the price your paying. Giftos across the road give double the portions and food quality is much better. Moving on to the desserts, we initially ordered ras malai, and soft serve ice cream and two other desserts. We were told they run out of these desserts and so we asked for two portions of gajar ka halwa and two portions of gulab jamuns with ice cream. The waitress said the manager will reduce the prize for you so you pay the same price unfortunately that wasn't the case. Gulab jamuns didn't come with ice cream it came with kulfi instead but we weren't told that. We did ask for containers and received these promptly to pack our food. We paid our bill at the till as they dont do table service.. The waitress was rude and not very nice, When we were placing our order she was very rude. She asked us how many pieces of sheesh Kebabs we want as they come separately ( not 2 pieces per portion like other restaurants) so I said 4 please when the starters came out I mentioned that I said 4 pieces and she said no you didn't it said 2 on your order that I screenshot from your phone (because I couldn't be bothered to write it down) so I said okay and I let it go. When I asked for a jug of water she laughed and said oh its tap water like I didn't know that, and who even puts Lemons in plain water? She gave us a top up of the water when she brought the desserts lol. The total came up to £63.50 and the food wasn't worth it so therefore I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The whole dining experience was really good. The options were bountiful and the prices were very reasonable for the serving sizes. The food was not greasy like other places which have lots of take out. The food is more to European tastes, meaning that if you want more spices or hotter food( spicy) - I would make let the staff know when you order the food. The amritsari fish was okay, but could be 10 times better and the lamb samosa was greasy and oily.
