All of her friends as well as my Sister love the food. Upon arriving to take out, the restaurant was empty as it was quite early for dinner. By the time I left it was pretty full of what appeared to be regulars as everyone seemed to know what they wanted upon entering. The lady at the front is not the most friendly, asking me to wait in the lobby area by the front door (where there was a tent with two people doing drugs right there), rather than inviting me to sit and wait in the empty restaurant area and maybe offering a tea or water like most restaurants would do. Very clean, the portions are a good size as well. My Mother had Combo A and I had Combo B which is very reasonable in price as well. The prawns did not have a thick batter which was great, the sweet and sour pork was delicious. They give a lot of chow mein with the combos, two people could share. I will have spring rolls next time as I forgot this time!

The Pad Thai was so red it looked and tasted like it had ketchup in it… and the shrimp toppings was so little, probably the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had. And the Cashew Chicken was such a small serving they barely put any meat on it. It looks more like Bell pepper dish with bits of chicken. Most pitiful chicken dish I’ve had in my life. The restaurant looked so old the it had an odd smell. I wanted to give 1 star but I’m making it 2 stars because the staff are nice. The previous review was right, not authentic Thai food. I was so excited to eat at pho galaxy tonight because they just opened their new location, I always loved pho galaxy but the old location was a little tight especially when I have to come with a stroller so we don’t go there as often as I would like. Anyways today we finally went to try out the new location. Now, we have to wait to be seated which is totally fine, the waitress was cleaning the tables for us to be seated and once we were seated it took them 10 mins to give us the menu. When I asked the waitress for the menu she just gave me the meanest look ever. There are 2 waitress there that always have the meanest most angry pissed off face. They definitely made my experience super super disappointing. This isn’t their first time giving attitude or giving us a rude disgusted face they did this also at the other location. Mine & my husbands mood was completely ruined from their service. As much as I love pho galaxy it is time for us to stop going there as the service is total trash from the waitresses. NOW! I get it, it’s busy, they’re tired they’re been on their feet for who knows how many hours BUT youre working in a restaurant, a NEW location, you know it will be busy, you’re in a costumer service type of job regardless of how you are feeling you should make your costumers feel welcomed, you most definitely shouldn’t make them feel like a bother as they’re walking in. I also work in a costumer service job and no matter how shitty or tired I am feeling I do not take it out on my clients. People come to restaurants to eat with their families to enjoy their time they’re paying money that they work hard for to have a good experience and eat good food. Unfortunately that was not what happened for my family and I. Word of advice to the owner, you should try to hire people with more costumer service experience. It will help with your business. Both you and your wife are amazing people but your employees need extra training on their costumer service skill. I am positive I am not the only one that sees the attitude from them.

The services also wasn’t the greatest. I figured I’d give the new location a try and was incredibly disappointed. The food was mediocre, not much flavour. The service was absolutely terrible. The cutlery on the table for use was dirty, all of it. When I asked the server for new cutlery and sauce dish she got angry at me and told me no and to use the ones on the table even though they were visibly dirty. It was so uncomfortable I could barely enjoy my food. I asked for fish sauce for my food, server didn’t bring it for 20 minutes after my food was already done then got mad at me for it. The servers are very rude and unprofessional. I will not be returning.

So on our roads trip really hungry we were looking for a place to get some respite from pangs of hungry. We where in great luck to find Dosa club. We sampled our favourite Indian dishes lamb Kothu rothi and chicken 65 briyani. Hands down both were one of the best we have had in a while. Sakshi and her team were awesome. The service was sub par and definitely could have been better. When we entered there were maybe two other small tables taken and by the time we left there was nobody there. This should have been a bit of foreshadowing on our experience. That foreshadowing as well as my spouse back at home googling and seeing the bad reviews for this place. However I figured might as well try it, some people are picky, even one of the photos being the food in the trash. I wanted to try and give it a chance. So upon first entrance our waitress was average, no real excitement for the job. Slow, mid level smiles and more. We were a table of four and the other three people ordered a lunch special. I was lucky and ordered two dim sum items. When my lunch partners received their items it was very obvious that this was going to be an uncomortable meal for them. The entire lunch special (Chow mein, vegetables, meat) was just entirely coated in something greasy. The vegetables were not soft - they were worse. One person exclaimed that as soon as they were a couple bites in they instantly felt regret. Their stomachs immediately started to feel heavy and gross. By the end two out of the three barely finished their meals. One person asked for theirs to go and as they scraped it into the to go container I could see the shine and just how coated in grease it was. I ordered Dim Sum (Soup Dumplings and Steamed Pork Buns) and they were delicious. It felt not as heavy as the chinese food and I loved it. It was delicious however it does not make up for the fact that three people had a bad experience. I also received my Dim Sum five minutes after everyone else and that was not a big deal but I absolutely despise having to wait while everyone else enjoys their food. Once we left the restaurant it was a constant internal struggle for my lunch cohorts stomachs and the need for washrooms pretty much right after. We definitely will NOT be going back and I do see and understand why this restaurant has bad reviews in part. They are good at Dim Sum but chinese food was atrocious.

It curbed my Chinese food craving. It's cheap and cheerful. I wouldn't say it's the best Chinese food place but it's definitely not the worst. First three were great, delicious food exactly how we ordered it. The 4th time (2ish months ago), the flavour was there but both orders were “dry”, like they used half the sauce they were supposed to. Because last time didn’t have enough sauce, my wife and I both added extra sauce as a precaution to the new honey garlic chicken boxes. A great consistency in every box when I dine at the Noodle Box and therefore a solid go-to for me. I got the Pad Thai Box with Prawns with Scorching Hot heat level. I made my order with Tofu and paid as im a veggie, which then the staff realized they were sold out so I was pretty much forced to eat pesceterian. The Prawns were tiny and look straight from frozen, pretty pathetic protein option IMO. Albeit pretty tasty and thoroughly enjoyful flavor throughout with fresh wholesome ingredients. Decided to give it a shot instead of our usual spot Maru Sushi. Lots of parking which is great! Upon walking in we were greeted immediately - another plus. Once the food came however, that's when the service ended. GONE. Never to be seen again. We weren't asked how everything was. It didn't appear understaffed at all, we just became invisible for reasons I don't understand. The food was excellent- totally. I had tofu teriyaki and miso soup. My guy had beef yakisoba and a spicy tuna roll. Excellent. But spending our hard earned money dining out deserves more than great food. If we're ignored and never glanced at once food delivered, I have no reason to come again. Eating out is an experience. This was really disappointing. We both agreed we won't be back due to that. There are so many choices nowadays on where to spend our money. Being invisible isn't a good feeling.

This time will be the last. They should take notes from the Guildford Mall location. They do it really well. As consistently as I’ve tasted anywhere else. Here the Pad Thai is really saucy, dark and strong, not the right flavour at all. They use the wrong noodles, no green onions, no peanuts or limes on the side, no Siracha or hoisin to add. They never have shrimp. The portion size is good but the protein portion in contrast is really small, hardly any chicken, barely any tofu. Other Thai Express locations add a lot. I got a $7 mango salad with about 1/16th of a mango in slices that were not ripe, with fish sauce for dressing? Very salty, maybe that was a mistake. Not worth the price.
