We had a good lunch. Had a very great Thai food the staffing and the owner are nice this is like a paradise retreat of coming in to this restaurant in the Mayo Clinic town I would certainly rate this as a classy place if you’re visiting or if you’re a Thai food person.
We had Pad Thai, Laab and The delicious dessert Thai style ! The treatment is like much greater and better than cheesecake factory and also all those big restaurant or Thai restaurant out in the Twin Cities.
If I have to say who is number one, I would certainly give these guys the number one in the state of Minnesota not joking for real!
We know what Thai food is we know how it taste. But what made this place special to me is not just because the staffing are polite or they’re nice it’s more than that. With these pictures, I see they’re putting a lot of work and effort just to make sure that the food looks very presentational to me. I see they spend a little bit of extra time just to make it more and above and beyond more less of that or cherry on the top their customer service skill of course there’s no doubt is the best That’s why I don’t know where those food critics of Minnesota are get this place you’re number one Thai food in the state of Minnesota!
Highly recommend it because they work hard and they have the passion like people who cares I love to spend money to place like this if Thai food is your first time or you’re unsure about this place, my recommendations go on their website. Read the review and check out their menu first. For me I love Thai food more than some what in the twin cities. There is a parking in the back lot. You can always call the restaurant if you need help finding good parking spot.

We’ve been here many times and we always enjoyed the food. They have many vegetarian dishes and the desserts are delicious. The restaurant is also in a great location but a little difficult to find a parking spot though. The team is also nice and friendly. Have plenty of dishes to try … just keep in mind some soups are big enough for sharing. You may want to try the sticky rice Mango!

Popped in for dinner because we were craving some Thai food. Loads of ambience! Kind of dimly lit, long, narrow interior. My first thought was “This would be a great place for modern young professionals to get food and drinks.”
The waitress provided hot warm towel after we sat down. Friendly staff. Food was good. The avocado crab rolls were nicely presented. We ordered Massaman Curry and Garlic Chicken. The curry had so much flavor happening! Beef was a little tough, but this was the dish we liked better. The Garlic Chicken was alright- bland in comparison but the chicken was more tender.
Overall a good meal. Don’t think we’ll come here again though as there are so many other restaurants to explore in Rochester and our visits are short.

the pad kee mao had barely enough kick to make my taste buds react, but it wasn’t bland haha! definitely contemporary thai food, but in a good way. but what really sold me was the ambiance. the dim lighting and narrow layout really sets a bougee tone while also being pleasing and intimate!!

Stopped with a group of 8 for lunch @ 11:30 on a Wednesday. There was only one other occupied table. They do have carry out, it would be a great option if you’re in a hurry or on a lunch break. The food we got was exactly as requested to be prepared and delicious. I was very impressed with each dish and will for sure be returning. I felt like the menu had something for everyone. Even the one person who was vegan enjoyed her dish.
Our food was prepared quickly. Most of us just had water to drink. I appreciated the server leaving a water container for us to refill as needed. Server was quick to refill water container when empty as well.
We enjoyed our meal, received our individual bills quickly so we could get back to work. I was worried we could do on a lunch break- they are very quick.
I only wish I had time to try more of the food. All seasoned well.

It was our last night in Rochester and this was the restaurant that my friend recommended to try and I'm so glad he did! Their food was superb 👌🏻!
We ordered thai tea (it was a little bit on the sweet side in my opinion). My friend ordered the **Massaman Curry**, it was good. The sauce was creamy, has a little bit of spice and the beef was tender!
I ordered **Chicken Satay**, I've been craving one for a while and this sure satisfied it! Their peanut sauce is really good, has a hint of spice and the cucumber onion salad that came with it was yummy!
I also ordered **Thai Beef Jerky** it reminded me of Filipino Tapa a little nit. It was great, it came with sticky rice I wish it was just regular rice, but it was still good and I ate all of it. It has Sriracha dipping sauce.
We ordered **mango 🥭 sticky rice** for dessert and it was yum!! The kids enjoyed it as well! Loved the presentation it was so pretty and the mango was really sweet!
Top of my places to visit again for sure! If I'm in town again this will surely be on my list! 💯
Our server was really nice! He checked and made sure we got everything and that we're satisfied with our meal. 👏

Asia Fusion is a great spot for flavorful dishes. I had the beef pho, and the broth had a unique, floral flavor that was absolutely delicious. My husband asked the cashier for her favorite dish and was recommended the shrimp fried rice, which was very spicy and packed with flavor. Both dishes were excellent, and we enjoyed the experience. I also noticed they offer frozen ramen bowls that you can order and cook at home. While it would have been nice to enjoy Japanese-style ramen at the restaurant, it’s great to have a place in Rochester that offers this option. The decor added a cozy and inviting touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

If you’re seeking unforgettable Asian cuisine, look no further! Like many communities, Rochester has been cycling through restaurants. When I find a place my husband & I enjoy, I feel compelled to share the experience. Our recent take-out order with Asia Fusion was fantastic, highlighted by 2 stand-out dishes.
Chicken Pad Thai:
The chicken pad thai is absolutely exceptional. The noodles had a subtle sweetness & were accompanied by tender, juicy strips of chicken & some vegetables. The sauce is the key element & it delivered. The flavorful sauce was sweet, salty, sour & even had a hint of spice. It was topped with crunchy peanuts, fresh scallions & just the right splash of lime. The flavors blended seamlessly.
Sesame Chicken:
The bite-sized chicken was fried & tossed in their sweet & tangy glaze. All elements were balanced perfectly with no one flavor overpowering the others. Served over white rice, the garnishing of sesame seeds added a subtle, aromatic finish.
The friendly staff greeted us when we picked up our order, making an overall great experience even better.
I highly recommended Asia Fusion for anyone who enjoys Thai, Chinese & Vietnamese cuisine!

I think this place was alright. It's a little bit hard to spot, tucked in into a small strip. This place offers a variety of cuisines. I had a bowl of seafood ramen and the crispy pork. The seafood tasted fresh but the noodles I would guess is not house made. Not expecting much because this place offers mixed Asian dishes. All dishes looks extremely presentable. Of all my dishes I ordered, I enjoyed the tilapia a lot! Fresh spring rolls with amazing sauce. Would recommend.

Vying for a simpler option for Father’s Day lunch found us visiting Asia Fusion. A strip mall normality serving a variety of Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes. Original recipes with fresh ingredients made from scratch. Fried rice, ramen, soups, curry, breaded chicken, rice dishes and appetizers. Counter ordering with small dining area with four tables, metal chairs and metal stools under narrow high top tables facing a wall of eclectic tin signs. Mood is subdue, peaceful and quiet. Our Orange Chicken was piping hot and satisfied two of us with chunks of crispy chicken in an orange sauce. Steamed jasmine rice and broccoli come with it. A side order of egg rolls deep fried and served with a light duck sauce. Presentation practical, food delectable and service dependable.

I might be a bit hypercritical of this place, but my standards for Thai food are higher than normal only because I've eaten it my entire life. I really want to see this restaurant succeed because Rochester needs Thai food restaurants badly. This restaurant is nestled in a convenient spot that's easy to get to and access. It's not huge by any means but it's a quaint little place. The food here are true to Thai roots and while it's not the best Thai I've had, it's still a good restaurant worth stopping at. The downside to this restaurant is it is always plagued with staffing issues. I've only been here a handful of times. But each time I've been there, service was really slow. As it I sat for 30-40 minutes for a bowl of pho that should've taken 10-15 minutes to prepare with the restaurant at half capacity. My wife waited another 10-15 minutes on top of mine for her Tom Yum. This is not a good thing. The restaurant needs to reevaluate staffing especially during peak hours. One person managing the entire floor is called understaffing. If the restaurant can solve this issue it would be a great start. The second drawback is, the price vs. portion sizing In my opinion is not wonderful, this is based on several Thai places that I have visited in the past. I could understand if this was upscale gourmet Thai dining but it really isn't. This restaurant to me, comes off as a small family owned dining establishment that should give people a great value for their dollar to try out Thai cuisine but the pricing is steep for what you get. Asia fusion is a place that can be great if it can address what I think are minor drawbacks and I hope it stays. The ambiance is wonderful, the food is delicious, the location is excellent. I would gladly go back.

I ordered the pho with beef and meatballs. Also got the spicy crispy pork belly with rice. The pho was really flavorful and definitely could be one of the best in Minnesota. Prices are on the high end for decent Vietnamese food (something you’d pay at a fine dining restaurant with food you could probably make yourself at home). The pictures on the menu were misleading and looked a lot better compared to what we actually got so that was a surprise.

Ichi Tokyo is located in a strip mall in South Rochester. We were greeted and seated immediately, and the service was really great. However, the lunch bento boxes we ordered were not. The tempura was off, as you will see in the picture. The breading was not panko but something else that was really heavy. The oil it was cooked in was heavy as well. Tha k goodness the tonkatsu had proper breading, but it was just ok. The miso was salty, and the avocado in the california roll was very soft. I hope that they were just having an off day, but sadly, I won't be coming back to find out. Again, it was great service, but not so great food.

Being on the south side, this is a great place for all commuters south of Rochester.
They have a full bar and , (new to me), an all you can eat sushi menu. Granted you won't have access to every roll they offer but it actually includes specialty rolls and even appetizers like everyone's favorite gyoza.
I found myself opting for the Hibachi menu, since it has a flavor profile worth exploring with a glass of Pinot Grigo.
Next time id like to explore the Terryaki menu profiles and wine pairing possibilities.
They have a few dining booths that appear to host parties of up to 6 and im sure they can host a larger party with arrangements made.

My 3 companions had the “all you can eat” sushi menu and I had the beef hibachi dinner (since I am allergic to shellfish so not a sushi fan) even though there are plenty of choices of non shellfish!
Everyone was happy. The food is amazing, the sushi was apparently exceptional. Along with crab Rangoon (huge) miso and clear soup, tempura dishes, teriyaki chicken and salmon, and egg custard.
Order from the unlimited menu as needed, the service is fabulous and the waitress was accommodating and they never had to wait for more dishes. Pictured are just some of the dishes my companions ate, all so beautifully presented. There is a “wastage penalty” of 50c per item to stop over ordering and honestly there should be no need as you order as you finish each set of dishes.

I gave a 5 star rating not necessarily because it's the absolutely best sushi/sashimi I've had (it's very, very good) but because it offers all you can eat for a reasonable price of about $31. Except for an excellent place in Port Orange, FL and some exceptional places in CA and HI, it ranks near the top of my list in flavor and presentation. The seafood is very fresh and, for Japanese cuisine, that's about 90% of the flavor rating. I started with the seaweed salad, which was tasty and a little more tangy than usual but, as such, seemed brighter and fresher than others. Still had good toasted sesame flavor, too. I then ordered the rainbow roll (highly recommended), salmon and octopus sashimi, the fire roll (tasty and fun with great presentation), and a simple salmon roll. My wife found plenty of items she liked. Not a fancy place so don't expect great atmosphere, however, after a day of fly fishing, we didn't need fancy, just convenience and good food. Service was friendly and just a bit slow due to a heavy take-out business but was good compared to other sushi restaurants. We will certainly return whenever we're in the Rochester, MN area.

I'd recommend trying this place if you haven't been. The menu has lots of items, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
We got egg rolls (which for some reason I forgot to take a picture of) and they were very good.
Our meals were really good too. It was my mom and I who ate at the restaurant. We were in Rochester for appointments at the Mayo Clinic. We live in Mankato so a few times a year we'll venture over to Rochester. This is a place that is high on our list for eating at while there.
One of the main waitresses is an older Asian lady and she's super sweet and fun if she's your server.
Definitely try this place!

If you've been to LeeAnn Chin and had a bowl full of overcooked spaghetti in sugary syrup pretending to be an Asian dish, or one of many dilapidated Chinese restaurants serving frozen supermarket "Chinese" food... Come here and enjoy GOOD Chinese food, and generous portions, at great prices.
I brought my family (who are used to very authentic Chinese food in Mauritius where they are from) Everything was cooked fresh, well seasoned, and tasted far more authentic than any chain.

Let’s start with the staff. The employees here seem to have completely forgotten the basic concept of decency and customer service. The attitude is rude, bordering on hostile. They’re in a rush to get you in and out of the door so they can move on to the next order, as if there’s a line of a billion people waiting outside. You could order Szechuan Chicken, expecting a spicy, bold dish with the right balance of flavors, and end up with something entirely different, like Ta'chin Chicken, or worse, just some random chicken stir-fried with whatever ingredients they had lying around. Missing condiments, ingredients, or details are common, and don’t even bother asking for adjustments — they’ll probably forget about it anyway. It’s honestly pathetic.
The restaurant would be great if they just took a bit of pride in what they serve and cared about the customers they’re supposed to be feeding. Unfortunately, the combination of a lack of service, rushed attitude, and inconsistency in the kitchen means you’re likely better off looking for other options. Would love to see a change in ownership or management, because the food has potential. Until then, I’ll keep looking for another place to get my fix of decent Chinese food.

I recently visited this Vietnamese restaurant and overall, it was just okay. The food and service were both average. My egg roll was burnt, and the pho broth was very light and lacked depth of flavor, almost watery. Very little meat in the pho. Some of the condiments were left out, and the veggies that came with the pho were minimal — they only gave one lime wedge. Once it started getting busy for lunch, the staff didn’t really come by to check how we were doing. Overall, it was a pretty underwhelming experience, and I don’t see myself going back.

The restaurant was busy but the service was prompt and polite.
The food was fresh and there were a variety of amazing sauces on the table. The meat in the pho was a bit tough. We went on a Sunday afternoon and in addition to it being busy they also had so many take away orders that they were unable to offer any of their stir-fry menu items. I was disappointed because I had wanted to try their pad-Thai.
The restaurant did have a bit dingy look and smell.
The portions were generous and price was reasonable but not cheap.

We ordered the egg rolls which comes with 2 & they’re delicious! Pho has really went downhill with flavor and my fiancés pad Thai noodles were undercooked. This was my first time at a restaurant like this. We did have to wait and I definitely was not impressed with out wait staff. She never brought us the sushi we ordered and was very aloof. Luckily, our 5 year old and 2 year old were uncharacteristically well behaved for the hour wait (for our cook). When the chef arrived, the experience got so much better! He was funny, made us and the people we sat with (strangers) feel very comfortable and have a great time! The chef had our 5 year old laughing hysterically! It was really nice that he included everyone in the experience and wow the food was so delicious! We will certainly be going back as soon as possible and I highly recommend going here to anyone! First off, we called in earlier the same day to get a 7pm reservation to sit by the Hibachi grill. When we got there promptly at 7pm. They said, "I see your reservation, but it will be another hour". So we just choose to sit in the dinning side, not too big of deal I guess. It took about 30 minutes to order drinks and another 20 minutes to receive them from another waitress once we went up to the bar to remind them. Finally someone came around to take our order, my wife who is allergic to shell fish told them, "I am allergic to shell fish and cant have shrimp" when she placed her order. Well when she received her meal, shrimp was indeed in there. Luckily she noticed it before taking a bite. Took another 10 minutes to get her food. Was a pretty horrible experience and will not be going back there.

Seating took a while (~1 hr), but once we were seated, the service & main course were excellent.
The restaurant is designed around cooktops with seating for 8, so groups are paired together until seating is full. It seemed that couples were seated quickly (added into large groups of <6), but large groups with odd numbers (we had 5 people) were seated more slowly. At least this was our experience.
At the cooktop, dinner started with a mediocre soup and salad before the grill was started and the performative cooking of select meat and seafood began. Our chef was very skilled: the food was cooked expertly, he tossed broccoli florets (more or less) directly into our mouths, and he sprayed sake (again with expert aim) into our mouths at the end of the meal. 5 stars for our chef.
I would come back here for a birthday. The restaurant plays awesome music, and the birthday party gets to wear interesting masks.

Great little Chinese place! Cozy little spot, nothing fancy but was a good place to take a kiddo as it’s pretty casual. Great family spot and adorable too.
Food was stellar!! Got chow mein, the cashew chicken was awesome (maybe too much celery but otherwise good)!
I love what they did for the kids menu too. They do fried chicken with a side of fried rice. Not chicken tenders but Chinese fried plain chicken then sweet and sour sauce on the side to dip in. So glad it wasn’t another side of just breaded chicken tenders!

We ordered Orange Chicken with noodles (instead of rice, for an additional $2) and two crab rangoons, as well as Lo Mein Chicken with fried rice and one egg roll. The portions were incredibly generous—so much so that we couldn’t even finish half the meals!
The taste was excellent, with well-balanced flavors, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

The food was amazing with lots of options for vegetarians.

She noticed me struggling with chopsticks and kindly offered either a fork or training chopsticks which I gladly accepted the training chopsticks. Sushi was AMAZING! we ordered 6 different kinds between our party of 3. Loved them all. Decor inside was very nice, while it looked rather small it comfortably accommodated 2 parties of over 9 each and various other tables. Thank you for a wonderful sushi experience. My only negative is please use black font next time you print your menus, white is very hard for older folks to read making it much harder to tell what ingredients the sushi will have. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I drive an hour from Mankato to get sushi here because it’s genuinely that good.
Zero idea why some reviews say it’s bland, it’s literally some of the best sushi I’ve had. I’ve tried a lot of places. Like dude there’s literally banana sushi on there. There’s adventurous choices and safe options. We’ve went there 5 ish times, every time getting something new and almost everything has been extremely good.
The wait staff are genuinely phenomenal. Extremely nice and pleasant.

This is my go to Door Dash delivery spot when I arrive in Rochester for appts.
I typically order something different each time. But the regular egg rolls and the sugar donuts are always on the menu for us.
This year though, the Egg Rolls are significantly smaller than before and their taste not quite the same. The mushroom chicken vegetables are wonderful. I ordered plain lo meun as a substitute for the fries rice. The noodles and and sauce are wonderful. My comment is that for some reason the whole meal tastes smokey...somewhere between liquid smoke and cigarette smoke.
It was just a strange taste when I know how yummy this place is.
I will give it a chance again next year as I love it is local family owned and they have been 110% perfection the prior years.

I’ve never had delivery food arrive that hot, it was incredible. Everything was delicious. I’m a 6’1 220 Lb weight lifter who eats ALOT. It’s very very rare I can’t finish a meal. The portions are Insanely big, I think I ate 1/2 of it and will be eating the next half in a couple hours haha. Probably the best delivery meal I’ve ever had!

I ordered a poke bowl earlier today; I normally order from Songtea but they’re closed on Tuesdays so I decided to try a new place which turned out to be a huge mistake. First off I ordered 2 extra avocado and was very disappointed with what I got. 2 tiny sliced of avocado for $1 a piece and it wasn’t even fresh! It was just mushy and already browning. The fish and quality overall was equally disappointing and sorry to say disgusting. The poor quality of the salmon was apparent just by looking at it and the taste was repulsing. This was an incredibly disappointing experience and I will not be recommending nor recommending here.

Good chinese food is hard to come by. The food has great balance and was not too salty or, in most cases, too sugary. We ordered many dishes that we liked, the crispy mushrooms were the best part I guess. They give you some small starters that we enjoyed like kimchi and steamed broccoli i really like when restaurants give you small portions of food while you wait for your meal… super nice from them!

From the starter mushrooms to the pink drink to the sides to the crispy shrimp to the short ribs to the sesame ice cream, all good! They partner with flapdoodles for the sesame ice cream, almost a peanut butter flavor. The mushrooms were a show stopper. The shrimp were great crispy but then at the end of the meal go lt soggy from the sauce, perhaps get the sauce on the side. We went here to celebrate a birthday and the food was absolutely delicious. There were plenty of vegan and vegetarian options - the crispy mushrooms were a highlight for everyone. We also tried the stir fried glass noodles with pork belly, bulgogi crispy rice bowl, vegan dumplings, and kimchi Korean pancakes.
Everything was flavorful and had great texture - the mushrooms were so crispy, the glass noodles were chewy and springy, and the pan fried dumplings were perfectly crisp and bouncy.
Fun selection of creative drinks with a good amount of nonalcoholic options as well.
Super cute and colorful interior, it looked like there might be outdoor seating as well in nicer weather. It was a little bit confusing to find the entrance - it’s the big ornate door right before the courtyard/outdoor seating!

I visited new restaurant in Rochester downtown the first impression of getting into the restaurant is it very classy dark ambient and a very good furnished decorated place perfect for date night.
Staff is respectable and very courteous. I ended up getting to go but hang out a little bit to have a beer and drink..
I am really disappointed with the food, first of all, it's very pricey menu .though it was missing flour, touch of Korean spice and the quality wasn't good. I ended up having a couple of scoops and throw the food away because it was not at all good I might have to try other food there to see if they have better options but the wild rice was bad.
You're always going to have problems with the parking in the downtown Rochester parking lot available right in front of this restaurant.

We went during the week around 1:30pm and we were the only customers dining inside. It made for a really nice, quiet place to talk. The food was excellent and I really appreciate that they have $15 lunch specials!! I would like to see more authentic desserts, such as homemade yakgwa, yaksik, or dasik. Some punches like Sujeonggwa or Sikhye would be fun to try as well. The pork belly was a little dry, but I will definitely come again! I'm hoping in the fall that they will have Hobakjuk.

Bebap was easily a 5-star experience. The service, atmosphere, drinks, and food were nothing short of incredible. Sky and Avery went above and beyond to accommodate our drink requests, and they were wonderfully attentive to my friend’s celiac needs. Inside it’s super cute and nice. Cute patio. I liked the aesthetics of everything. We went for lunch and had the lunch special which came with a pop and that was a good price for $15. However the rice I got in the rice bowl needed something. It was dry and bland- needed more sauce. Asked the server for soy sauce. Only one server was there for lunch shift- she was kind of running around and I think she forgot about me because it took 10 minutes to get the soy sauce. To top it off, the server charge me $2 for the soy sauce when I got the bill. What!!!?? Wasn’t happy or expecting to see that. At any other Asian place you go, the soy sauce is right on the table for free. Overall wasn’t super impressed with this experience but would be maybe willing to give them a second chance for dinner.

I visited this restaurant as a Korean with my 6-month-old baby, and it was one of the most welcoming and thoughtful dining experiences I’ve had. The owner, who is Malaysian, is incredibly passionate about food and service. She even went to Chicago to learn how to cook Korean food properly — and it shows.
The entire staff was friendly, and they made my baby feel seen and welcomed, even engaging with her through smiles and gentle gestures. As a parent dining alone with a baby, I felt completely comfortable and cared for.
I originally ordered bulgogi japchae, which was a bit strong for my taste, and when I mentioned this, the owner didn’t hesitate. She not only packed up the dish for me to take home but also let me choose a completely new dish instead — at no extra cost. Talk about going above and beyond.
I ended up ordering the cold bibim noodles (비빔국수), and they were absolutely delicious. The owner personally came by multiple times to check how I liked it, making it clear that she genuinely wanted every guest to enjoy their meal.
Perfect spot for a special Friday night dinner — warm service, passionate cooking, and truly customer-first hospitality.
