It’s noodle soup with more Chinese flavouring elements and a few Japanese touches. I got Mr. Lee’s noodles with GF noodles. They prepared the Gluten Free Noodles well and they were a nice texture without being over cooked. The soft cooked egg was my favourite part. There wasn’t enough broth and I was expecting a rich tonkatsu pork broth, alas it was more soy sauce flavoured broth which wasn’t bad but a little one note with the Chasu pork. Mushrooms on top were nice but the bok Choy was raw which was a strange choice. A bit pricey for what you get.

Fresh,presented well and fair priced. We got fried salmon roll, hot girl roll, and monkey roll. All were good the salmon was our favorite. My wife got the chicken katsu bento box and I got drunken noodles. The portions were generous hers was good but they served it with what tasted like a1 steak sauce which is not what we expected based on every other restaurant she ordered that from other than that it was great tempura was crispy and clean tasting. My drunken noodles however were a big fail. I have had drunken noodles and at most of the restaurants in the area that offer them and sadly jasmine version of this is in the very bottom percentage of those other places. The portions of ingredients for the sauce were off and way heavy handed on the fish sauce made in not good at all. They had zero spice and didnt ask for a level so assumed like most it should come out medium but came out with ZERO. They added sugar snap peas in theres thst were not destemmed so inedible and also had what seemed like bamboo that tasted not right. The only thing that they got correct were the noodles used and portion of thai basil with out stems. It honestly was a cross of drunken noodles and pad se ew and they didnt capture any of what makes those dishes amazing. In conclusion we will absolutly be back for sushi and skip the thai portions of the menu and focus on the japanese.

We live out of state but were passing through the area and it looked like a really nice place online so we made reservations ahead of time. We ended up getting stuck in crazy traffic from a bad accident and were a little late. We had called them to let them know and they were so nice about it. When we arrived they took us right away. The hibachi chef was great and we loved the food! I recommended the restaurant to my mom since she was going to be in that area that next week with friends and they ate there as well and loved it. This is a nice place and I believe it had three hibachi tables. The staff was very nice and the service was quick. I had the filet mignon hibachi with noodles and everything was cooked perfectly and the meat was well done like I requested but still incredibly tender. The sauce they used was delicious and not overly oily like some places I've been in the past. The soup was the best I've ever had in my life. Is was the first time I've ever consumed the entire bowl of it. If you like hibachi I absolutely recommend you go here because it is phenomenal! I am an incredibly picky eater so I only give props where I feel they are due.

All our meals were very good with exception of the hot tea and tempura ice cream. What they did not do is leave the ice cream in longer to get that nice crispy tempura crust, instead most was soggy. Ruined it. Ice cream itself was good. One thing we noticed is that for $ they don’t give you generous portions as others. I had a delicious dish that ran out of white rice, I asked for extra rice to go with my leftovers, no problem. So they charged $2.00 for a cup of white rice? Place was empty which should have been my first clue. The various raw fish in our rolls weren't spoiled but they weren't fresh. And they seemed ground and mushy rather than nice firm slices of fish. Fantastic sushi is the kind that you can still taste the morning of, and you begin planning the next time you will go back to indulge. My friend and I came to Sogo Sushi on a Friday night at about 7:00p.m. There were a couple of other people there, but no one was sitting at the sushi bar. We thought this would be a fun opportunity to sit at the sushi bar and get to know the sushi chef, Jóse. He is extremely nice and a master at his art. This is really good stuff. We will definitely be coming back to Sogo. I’m surprised it didn’t have more customers based on the quality of the food. I’m thinking it has to do something with the location. It is a bit hidden if you aren’t look ing- almost overshadowed by The Bayou and The River Grille. I think they need to put a big old neon sign on the sidewalk, with an arrow pointing, saying “This way for the freshest Asian fusion food in Easton!”

The soup was amazing, hit the spot perfectly, was full of glass noodles and veggies and was just all around so much better than the last time and just how i remembered it to be in the past. We are accustomed to waitresses who expect to be tipped to be a little friendlier and patient with questions but instead she acted disgusted that I didn't know Thai food. Right after we started the desert which was sticky rice (very delish) with a scoop of green tea ice cream (yummy too,) she laid down the bill and kept coming by to see if we had the payment ready. We both work in the customer service industry he is a chef and I am a nurse so we know what it's like to have a bad day... So we'll just let it go at that. Overall, 3/5. A cute place with pretty decent service, good hot food, and mediocre sushi for the price. Food: 3/5 Shrimp Dumplings were O.K. , but they tasted a bit fishy, like the shrimp used had gone slightly off, or they are using fish paste to try and stretch out the shrimp. The cabbage underneath the dumplings in the steamer was old, black and dried out along the edges. The dipping sauce was pretty good, but not the best I have had. Chicken Egg Roll was very good, crispy and not greasy at all. Lots of meat inside, actually maybe too much meat, a bit more cabbage in the filling would have lent some more moisture. The duck sauce is the typical chinese food pre-made sauce, not home made. Yellowtail Scallion Roll was pretty mediocre. The fish itself was of average quality, and was rolled pretty well. The real letdown here is that the rice they are using is not the right kind and is under-seasoned. They are using a longer grain rice, perhaps it is even the same rice that they are serving as sides to their hot food. This type of rice does not make for good sushi, it is dry and starchy. Not the best. Chicken & Broccoli was pretty good. We liked the sauce and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. Again though, the rice on the side was plain bad. Whatever kind of rice they are using is either poor quality or they are not cooking it correctly. Starchy and gummy. Singapore Mei Fun was very good. Generous portions of perfectly cooked shrimp, and we liked the seasoning on the beef. Good amount of vegetables as well. Good spice level. No complaints here, A+ Mei Fun. Price: 2/5 The sushi is overpriced for the quality compared to other restaurants in the immediate area, plain and simple. The hot food prices are a bit higher than a typical chinese food joint, but I believe that the increase in quality is worth it in this case. The shrimp dumplings though, were overpriced for the quality. $6.75 for 6 dumplings, I expect the filling to taste clean and be composed almost entirely of shrimp. Atmosphere: 4/5 Clean and simple decor, warm colors, and different seating options for your mood. The smaller space makes it feel more cozy and intimate. Nothing to knock your socks off, but it was nice. Service: 4/5 Whats to say? The waitress was friendly and checked on us often (although we were also the only ones seated so I can not speak for the service when it is busy). Menu selection was: Thai, Sushi and Chinese They were fairly busy with take out orders. They have several booths as well as tables (we were the only ones eating in). Limited Chinese selection but we found something for both of us... 1 beef & broccoli and 1 chicken & broccoli I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Our food was hot, tasted good (didn't have a burnt wok taste) and fresh. While we are still looking for just a regular Chinese place that offers only Chinese food and standard combinations this little spot does have something for everyone.
