Coming from Chicago I appreciate restaurants not skimping on the meat and the vegetables, or portions. I was very pleased with the amount of food in the trays. This place definitely delivered on both. Service and food quality. We ordered to trays as to go. The food was on time and super hot, I did not have to wait, and the service was very good. The highlight was definitely the Hamachi Jalapeno. The fish was fresh and the ponzu sauce added a nice sweetness, and the jalapeno had enough kick to balance out the fattiness of hamachi. The tom yum soup was missing the depth of flavors this soup is known for. No lemongrass, 4 shrimp for a full pot serving and the shrimp were also rubbery and had a fishy aftertaste. I did speak with one of the restaurant owners and made my concerns known. The owner replied that other patrons have expressed concerns about the portion issue as well but his business partner doesn't seem to want to take the constructive criticism. The service was not good either, one owner is open to conversing with patrons and the other is curt. I did not order main entrees once I experienced the appetizers and service. As we were preparing to leave, we could hear the partners talking and one partner getting louder and louder expressing anger that they didn't think anything was wrong with the menu. Pleasantly surprised, Kate our server (we dined in and did not do the hibachi because of time constraints) was pleasant and the service was impeccable. All were perfectly cooked to medium well, seasoned and proportionate. The ginger salad and soup were great as well but the spicy tuna was to die for. Great texture, flavor and really fresh. I ordered a whiskey sour and Sapporo and the missus ordered a lemon drop martini. The whiskey sour was probably the best I've had in a long time. The portions were well thought out, the whiskey complimented the sour and nothing overpowered the other. I'm a sucker for great service and an even bigger one for better food. In the menu it shows $4 for a piece. When I placed an order, the lady behind the register said you must order 2, can't order 1. which comes to $8 for 2. Nowhere on the menu is this specified. I let it go and didn't think much of it. I thought I might have misunderstood it. * Back in March (2025) we ordered chicken 65 to take out. In the menu it shows $11 but they charged $15 when asked about it, they stated, it hasn't updated in online yet. I paid and thought it could happen. * In the summer of 2025 my wife and I went in for dine in. Ordered dosa and beef cutlet, and again I had to order 2. I was upset but still paid. * The most recent incident has been too much to bear. We ordered 6 dosa, 1 chicken 65 over the phone to take out. When I went to pay, the chicken 65 was charged $17. The menu as of now still shows $11. Living in Georgia for the past 22 years there are no Indian restaurant charges this ridiculous amount of price for chicken 65. No Indian, Pakistani, or Bengali restaurant charges this much for chicken 65. * For 6 dosas I was charged $63.00 and for 1 chicken 65 $17. As of now, in the menu Masala dosa are listed as $6.50 (6.50 x 6= 39.50) They charged $63, which was $10.50 per Masala dosa. * And then on top of that they added 1 non-cash discount of $3.20. + tax $4.80 bringing the total to $88.00. That means everybody that is paying with card they are charging additional money. Normally for the cash transactions, restaurant charges less but at Kerala Kitchen when paying with credit cards there’s additional money charged in the name of "discount". To these dishonest people discount has reverse meaning. Based on the menu price the total should have been $53.53 with tax. Where they charged me $34.47 extra. How is this a fair business practice? How much fraud and dishonest can a business be? On a daily basis they are ripping off people. While waiting for the food I could hear someone coughing in the kitchen. I paid and got the damn food. We had food poisoning overnight. Literally diarrhea until the morning. Besides the unhygienic food. The fraudulent charges just made me extremely furious. Because of this dishonesty, businesses get lawsuits. They attract you with lower priced items and then when you go to pay it's a different price. This is just an example from 3 items, beef cutlet masala dosa and chicken 65. Who knows what other items they are over charging at the register. Be very careful with this restaurant. On a daily basis these fraudsters are ripping off people. I have attached my copy of the most recent and screenshot of the menu as it shows the prices online.

First thing that struck me was the variety in the menu. They have a lot of options and not just limited to just pho. They have other Vietnamese dishes as well like banh mi, hu tieu, and even staples like avocado shakes to name a few. All reasonably priced as well. It's pretty straightforward when it comes to ordering here. You walk up to the counter and order. When it's ready they will call you to come over to pick it up. When you're done, just return your tray and dishes to the counter. The food here isn't half bad. The broth has some flavor to it and portion wise not too bad. It will definitely leave you satisfied. When it comes to pho or any kind of Vietnamese food, it's really based on the taste and preference of the person who is consuming it. I thought it was decent but others may disagree. Regardless though, the place is located conveniently and it's one of the only pho place in the area. For the price and portion it's not bad. Plan on definitely exploring a bit more of the menu.

The crab puffs are crunchy, light, oil free, and delightfully stuffed, a must try! Every single time we make a run for groceries we eat here, and I don't see that changing in the future. Honestly this place could easily occupy in restaurant building, slap down some fancy decorations and add 4-5 dollars onto anything they serve, but they don't and that is the magic. It's real food, by real people, who are really passionate about it, and changing anything would ruin the magic.

This dish was made using what looked and tasted like spaghetti noodles. I have ordered this dish many times over the years from Baltimore to California and have never had any issues. Maybe some of the other food options on the menu are better but I wouldn't recommend the Singapore Mei Fun because there are much better options in the area.
