Although it calls out Hibachi, there are no Hibachi tables here, they will just make it for you in the back, probably just on a flat top, so no oinion volcano, egg flipping show here. The quality of the food was not too bad. I was just passing by for work so I didn't eat a whole lot , but usually the bento will tell you everything about this place. The veggies in the salad have seen better days, you get that over night (or two) chilled feel from the bite, way too much ginger salad dressing. The fried items were underwhelming, everything was doubled fried, soggy spring roll, hard shrimp tempera, the crab rangoon was ok, on point. The dumplings were deep fried, not pan fried. The bento doesn't come with rice as it normally does, it comes with more sushi rolls to make up for it. No vinegar in the rice, down point. The only praise I can give is the beef teriyaki, the sauce was normal, but the beef was done to the right temp and tender. It is a neighbor joint for sure with great friendly service.

This year, on my husband's birthday, even though it was closing time, the staff was ultra accommodating, sang happy birthday to him, and gave him a dessert on the house. Hands down, it's one of my top favourite restaurants EVER. We go there regularly and more than once per month, and we've never been disappointed. FYI, if you're celebrating a special occasion, they do not have any problem with people bringing balloons, party favors, or a cake. Also, their warm sake is the best I've had (compared to other sushi restaurants), and it's perfect for cold nights.

When I entered the restaurant, it didn't give me that "WOW" effect, however the steady stream of customers did! The menu is written nicely on the chalk board and you pick out what you want to eat and they make it for you. The food is delicious. Very seasoned. We ate at the restaurant and my portion was enough for two people. Noodles inside the shrimp egg roll was unexpected. However, it worked! The restaurant is moving to a larger location in April 2020. We all also agreed that we liked the layout. Being able to get food from both sides has got to be convenient when they are really busy. However, they weren't refilling the food as it was being emptied and the stir fry area didn't seem to have much flavor at all even though I used sauce and a variety of veggies. The service was good as well except I didn't really like it that the server came up and asked us if we were ready to pay our bill yet even though 3 of us were still clearly eating. The only real edible dish they had that day was egg drop soup and even it was sub par.
