I got the Pad Thai as it was suggested for my gluten free diet. My husband got the sweet and sour chicken in which the chicken was lightly breaded. We upgraded to the chicken coconut soup and we could have a made a meal out of that. Now, why we will not return despite the awesome food. 1) A bug crawled across the wall next to me. I was able to kill it, but let's say the staff response about it was underwhelming. 2) I'm not surprised about the bug as the whole back of the restaurant was stacked with very visible boxes of supplies. In fact, you have to squeeze past them to get to the restroom. Also poorly hidden, were the piles of random junk upstairs barely concealed by screening and a slatted wall. It would be impossible to keep bug free. 3) Last but not least, we noticed the health score as we left--- 77! That is way below acceptable. Honestly, 3*s is generous and due solely to the great tasting food.

Overall, the food was pretty good. The tuna poke bowl with sweet chili was flavorful, salad was great (loved the dressing and crisp lettuce), the jalapeño Boom appetizer was tasty, and the mushroom broth soup, pretty good. The only dish I didn’t care for too much was the spicy chicken hibachi. While the flavoring was good, the chicken and veggies were disappointing for hibachi. The meat was cut into 1” cubes, dry, over-cooked. The veggies looked like and had the consistency of frozen vegetables (see my pic). I prefer Hibachi to be very fresh, meat thinly sliced, juicy, not over cooked and veggies slightly crispy. Three stars because it was good but nothing to rave about, the service came one item at a time, good thing we were sharing the meal, and our table was not picked up after like you’d expect. But still they gave us a great service, shout out to Mr Tony F, (I got the receipt with me) once we arrived he told me the kitchen was a little behind and asked me to be patient, I agreed, then we sat but stop to get a cup of water, but it was empty, so I ask him for a little water, and he said it was gonna be a minute, which I understand cause they were busy.
