We were customers on their second day. The waiters were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to answer questions about the menu. The restaurant has a lovely calm theme. Very clean and fresh!
Despite a misunderstanding that I had ordered something else, and a slightly longer wait time for my partners food, it was certainly worth the wait.
Food was absolutely beautiful when it arrived. They do something special with the potatoes!
I will cut them some slack on the smoothness of service being their second day! Go and have a meal, ask questions and help them grow! The food and staff are worth it!

Myself and my partner were eating whilst Oscar and his friends were eating. This was our second time eating here and we have been back again since. Total Group of 5 people and no complaints of food whatsoever from anyone.
Him and his friends ordered a lot of food as well as the meat platter. They ate 80% of the meat platter before complaining about it afterwards. The server was polite and smiling the entire time not belittling at all. Oscar and his friends were clearly looking for a discount and were dissatisfied that they were not given the meal subsidised or for free bearing in mind they had eaten 80% of it. May I add that if you were to dislike the food so much why would you eat 80%?
The food is incredible and the 4.5 star reviews are well deserved. The calamari is so fresh and the gyros (ALL of them) are to die for. The saganaki is cooked to perfection and the halloumi gyros you are given a GENEROUS amount of halloumi. Oscar also states the halloumi portion was tiny and thin which is really not the case.
I am not a friend of the restaurant but simply a tourist who appreciates a kind server and excellent chef

Niestety bardzo się rozczarowaliśmy. Restauracja ma szerokie menu. Może popełniliśmy błąd kupując w Pita Papu wegetariańskie jedzenie. Sałatka nazwana " cezar" był sałatka z krewetkami. Albania słynie z pysznych świeżych warzyw- te w sałatce były bez smaku. Dodatkowo krewetki były przypalone na grillu i po prostu nieciekawe. Hummus smakował octowo a z drugiej strony zupełnie mdło. I stumbled upon this amazing pita place and was truly impressed. The food is absolutely delicious—the pitas are perfectly cooked and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. I ordered chicken gyros, chedar fries with bacon and cheese sticks for to go. Chicken in gyros was not that bad it was a bit less then average. The cheese sticks were so oily and had a rubbery texture. The cheddar fries with bacon were horrible, they put a splash of cheese which was bad and had a really weird taste because of which i avoided to eat it to not get poisoned. I asked for a mayonnaise on the side of cheese sticks which they forgot to put it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I am surprised it has such a high score and its probably fake

Pita Papu in Kasamal, Albania, truly exceeded all our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best we've had.
What really set this place apart, though, was the incredible hospitality. We asked if they had Baba Ghanoush, a dish they don't typically serve. To our astonishment, the owner personally went into the kitchen, looked up a recipe on Google, and made it for us from scratch! It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that made our meal truly special.
I can't recommend Pita Papu enough, especially for Indian visitors. Finding good options can sometimes be a challenge, and Pita Papu is a fantastic choice. And seriously, don't forget to ask the owner for Baba Ghanoush – you won't be disappointed!

We’ve eaten here twice now and after 2.5 weeks in Saranda this is definitely our favorite “fast food” spot. We haven’t actually tried the souvlaki/donor meat yet but I’m sure would be yummy. We have really liked having the option for other whole meats like rotisserie chicken and pork. They cook the meat really well - crisped up, brown edges but very tender. Service is great - just genuinely kind and friendly.
They are located just a couple of streets back from the water so still very close to the main promenade but it is nice to escape the tourist vibes. Each time we’ve walked by they’ve been busy with locals and we like that everything is hot/cooking/freshly cooked.

Anna at the Greek restaurant in Saranda, Albania, made my evening truly memorable. Not only was the food absolutely delicious—with each dish bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavors—but Anna also took the time to teach me the proper pronunciation of “Gyro” Yee-row
adding a fun and personal touch to my visit. I’m from Chicago we have a large Greek community and we say Gyro. But since I’m in Europe next door to Greece I want to pronounce it correctly. I enjoyed a delightful conversation with her while taking in a stunning ocean view that perfectly complemented the meal. The entire experience was both affordable and wonderful—a true gem if you’re in the area. Highly recommended for anyone seeking Greek food and warm hospitality!

It was so incredible I came 3 times during my stay.
There is a big laddies team who serve, cook and take care of the costumers with a lot of love.
The views are beautiful.
The salziki and the souvlaki were the bests in Albania.
Really recommend trying the tav dheu (sorry for the spelling) as something traditional to try.

We were considering a Halal place down the street when a local woman told us the best Souvlaki in Albania was just down the street. We followed her and her recommendation did not disappoint! We each ordered a gyro souvlaki and some fries, salad and baked cheese to share. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The restaurant is family owned and operated, and they use local ingredients (including ingredients from their own farm). The employees were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!
